Cool Mac gives Kirribilli street cred. There's so much to love about this cafe. Tucked away from the main strip in the village, Cool Mac serves up both Japanese classics with a modern twist and classic western dishes with a Japanese twist. Something about the vibe makes you feel like you're one of the in-the- know cool kids after eating there. Friendly staff, and has outdoor seating so dog friendly.

Wow! What an amazing little gem tucked away from the busy main streets of north Sydney. I was beyond delighted that this was my first dinning experience since we have come out of lockdown because everything that the team here recommended to try was absolutely beautiful both in taste and aesthetic. I honestly can’t wait for my next trip across the bridge just so I can go here again. The food was a 12/10 and the coffee was exceptional too!

Great little café in Kirribilli, service was excellent as staff were super friendly and attentive when we arrived (it was very busy!). They have outdoor seating for those that are after something pet friendly. Unfortunately they were out of the grilled salmon congee when we arrived, so will have to go again a little earlier. We ordered the pork belly dry ramen, which was on point and very delicious. The other dish is the cod roe udon, which was cooked perfectly and very tasty. Update, visited again for the salmon congee and it didn’t disappoint! Definitely a must have dish on the menu if you’re lucky enough! Unfortunately the Sando was a let down, but overall the dishes on the menu are great and worth visiting to try other items.

Great breakfast spot, with 6.30am perfect for early risers who want to sit outside as the sunrises as their coffee and breakfast is served. Mentaiko toast, chorizo, the congee - just immensely flavourful, perfect way to start your day.

Outstanding food, friendly staff, cool vibe. Had the mazesoba (dry ramen), chorizo sando and beef udon. All crazy good!! Couldve eaten the egg tartare on the sando by the bucket - so moreish 🤩

It was every bit as good as the reviews said it would be. The salmon congee was so good we ordered two 🥣. Fancy twist on homey Japanese foods with an affordable price tag.

The food here was delicious and staff were so friendly and open to chat on re-opening. Would love to come back here when Sydney has opened up more. Nice little spot with good walking around. Particularly recommend the chorizo.

An OG of the Kirribilli cafe scene, Cool Mac's hip hop vibes meets Japanese infused menu items that are not only unique, but also genuinely tasty - Mentaiko Toast is a must if you're down for a small bite. Coffee is consistently brewed well, with Sample Coffee roasters being showcased.
