Girls night out last night at Kluska Polish Restaurant. What a little gem!
Five of us arrived hungry, and ready for a fun night full of chat and laughter.
We were met by the warm and smiling staff who made us most welcome.
We loved everything about this place. The staff, the ambience and the FOOD, oh the food! We were fortunate to be able to sample many of the wonderful pierogi by sharing, and share we did. We probably could have made a whole meal of these yummy little dumplings, however main course and dessert still beckoned. Somehow we managed to try 3 or 4 main courses between us, and
we are still raving about the schnitzel and the cabbage rolls. Simply delicious.
Determined to try some desserts as well, we ordered the Polish Jam Donuts and the Knadle, both were to die for. We ended the night with coffees of many types and flavours. What a treat.
Basia, the delightful owner, saw us out, but not before we had enjoyed a little chat about her home country, and told her we voted the food the best we had eaten over 30 odd years of nights out together.
We are looking forward to enjoying it all again, sometime in the New Year, when
Kluska has relocated to its shiny new premises in Knox.
All the best for the imminent move Basia and staff, you are awesome!
Upon walking into Kluska I was greeted by two lovely smiling staff members. All I wanted was some simple take-away. Expecting a small choice of day old bain-marie offerings, I was delighted to be told I had the full choice of the restaurant menu and my meal would be prepared fresh.
After a heavy workout at the gym, I could eat just about anything and everything.
The menu offers a lot of choice and variety of Polish cuisine, with many types of Pierogi. I am indecisive, so I was kindly able to order 2 main servings of Pierogi with varying selection of flavours. I was directed to a posh chair and offered a beverage while I waited. In the mean time I was entertained by Polish music and one of the lovely staff members and no sooner was my take-away ready.
A true test to the authenticity of these dumplings would prove to be quite filling. After knocking back 10 I was completely and utterly full. The starving large 6ft 3 giant that walked in was defeated by only 10 of Kluska's delicious pierogi. I may have a small bias towards Polish food but Kluska definitely delivered on quality and was able to make me feel like I was in Poland. I will definitely be back again :)
Had a great meal tonight. The food was so fresh, tasty & vary traditional! Highly recommend this restaurant to anyone wanting to try Polish food.
Fantastic evening with family. The pierogi with cabbage and mushroom and Placki potato cakes brought back so many memories of childhood. Great coffee and dessert to finish. Cannot wait to return.
Love the place.. very typical home made polish dishes, the staff is always friendly and smiling. Pork schnitzel is amazing, a must try

Our family went here for Mothers Day dunch (Dinner &lunch combined ) for our 1st time.
The food was like home cooked fresh without pre made foods and the service was friendly and hospitable.
Dzień kuje Pani.😊
It was lovely to have Polish speaking servers.
Friendly and efficient staff. I love the feeling you get that you're in a family home.
Food is delicious and very filling.
We always eat too much and walk out feeling like dumplings!
Wonderful flavours.
Thank you the wonderful team at Kluska for the most amazing catering for our function last night. Everybody absolutely loved the food. Mushroom and meat filled pancakes as well as pierogi were the best. Dziekujemy bardzo!!!
Great traditional polish menu, superb drinks and outstanding service at more than reasonable investment...... Do yourself a favour. Experience it.......
Lovely lovely home cooked food! Can't wait to come back and try more dishes from the menu
Friendly, warm and inviting atmosphere. My Polish husband says it feels like your at babcia's house. And the food is just divine and made with love.

Juneci gulas sa testom i kupus salata.....Fenomenalno....The best
Kluska restaurant has amazing food and you feel right at home with all the lovely waiters/waitresses. Definitely recommend checking it out!
A different dinner atmosphere as to be expected at the moment but the food and service was fantastic! Can’t wait try more of the menu.
We absolutely loved our dinner at Kluska. They
were incredibly busy but still managed to serve us with a smile. The Silesian dumplings with goulash were to die for. The goulash was tasty and complimented the beautiful plump dumplings. Poppy seed pierogi for dessert was also good. We should have stopped before dessert but we weren’t strong enough to resist. Kluska is a nice modern restaurant with big hearty food.

Wow! Have been meaning to try this place for a while now. Finally took a polish friend and my partner - the food is incredibly fresh and delicious! The strawberry sorbet and the pierogi are incredible and the customer service was outstanding!
Can’t wait to come back!
New to the Knoxfield area having moved from its original Dandenong location 7 months ago, Kluska offers traditional Polish food served on quaint dishes made in Poland. The staff are very efficient and friendly and Barbara the chef and proprietor is also very warm and ready to engage in conversation about the food and it’s Polish origins and background. Food was honest, with handmade freshness and tasty and the dumplings had a lovely chewy consistency to the dough skin. We’ll definitely be back to try the other dishes on the menu. Booking definitely recommended for the weekend as the place was packed full. Good menu variety and ample parking.
On our very first visit to Kluska we ordered the:
1. Meat filling pierogi (polish dumpling with pork and sauerkraut cabbage)
2. Fish filling pierogi (Rockling & blue grenadier fillets)
3. Gotabki (Cabbage leaf filled with rice, pork and beef mince)
4. Biata Kietbasa Pieczona (white polish sausages)
5. Potato pancakes with beef goulash
Dessert
1. Pierogi na stodko (traditional polish dumplings with sweet cottage cheese and a hint of vanilla)
2. Pierogi z makiem (traditional polish dumplings with sweet poppy seed stuffing drizzled with butter and breadcrumbs)
3. Nutella sweet dumpling
We have put off eating at Kluska since they moved from Dandenong as we weren’t sure if it would compare favourably to the old location which we loved. The food is exactly as we remember with a few minor changes (for the better in our opinion) and the service has remained excellent. The venue, while not as traditional, has far better access and parking, and will not put us off returning. We look forward to our next visit!
Great first Polish food experience! Food was very tasty and staff were super friendly and nice. Loved everything especially the crepes - which were so light and fluffy!
Beef and pork pierogis were very tasty! Highly recommend over other types.
The White Sausages were cooked to perfection and very well seasoned, absolutely stunning when paired with some mustard and the sauerkraut. Salad was super fresh and horseradish and mustard dipping sauces were very tasty.
Gnocchi was extraordinary! Incredible texture with a really nice chew, beef goulash was very hearty and tasty, which went so well with the pickled purple cabbage.
Also tried the vodka with apple juice and was surprised as to how smooth and easy to drink it was! Definitely a must try.
Only complaint is that one of the pierogi was undercooked, some parts of the skin (dough) was still hard and raw.
Keen to try other food items during a future visit!
📷 Pierogi - Chicken, Beef, Pork & Buckwheat & Cottage Cheese, Biala Kielbasa Pieczona (baked white sausage), Kopytka (Polish Gnocchi) with Beef Goulash, Strawberry & Prune Naleśnik (crepe), Nutella Naleśnik (crepe).
Just absolutely magnificent. The Chelb ze smalcem was …. Amazing! The barszac biaty was so tasty! The beef pierogi was scrumptious! The staff were amazing. Friendly an happy - couldn’t be happier after a horrible weak xx
Good little place as a first timer here, I tried both hot and cold Kompot but I totally recommend the cold.
Didn't expect it but the whole experience was practically Polish dumplings galore.
Spent about $60 to try everything (pescatarian) with friends but it was well worth it!
I'd say you can't go wrong here with any of the choices.
Under Polish dumplings, I had all the vegetarian and vegan fillings.
Pyzy stuffed with mushroom
Pierogis:
-Leniwe (Lazy)
-Fish
-Owocowe
-Nutella
Had a try of the Nalesniki with Mushroom which was good.
I heard the Golabki was too good that my friend took it to 'finger licking good!'
No hard feelings but the only thing I didn't like as much was the Fish Pierogi.
Amazing place. Food was delicious and team is very friendly. Strongly recommend to visit if you want to eat good food
We loved everything about this restaurant! A truly Polish experience and lots of very tasty food!
Have never been disappointed with this delightful, authentic Polish delight...what makes it so quaint is that " Kluska " adheres to traditional polish cuisine , old country taste , style and very satisfying food for the body and soul, the Chef and owner makes you feel welcome and is passionate in her service, thoroughly recommend, and worth the travel.....booking always recommended!
Five stars for their service and 3.5 for their food. It's actually not bad and it could be just me who was'nt wowed by Polish food. The flavours were all very mild and nothing seemed to stand out. Regardless it was unique to experience a different cuisine and what can be better than doing it without having to travel far. Prices weren't cheap but servings were generous.
This place should be packed every night. Food quality is amazing and fresh, and the staff are super friendly. A great selection of Polish beer too! Reminds me of going to my Polish friends house as a kid, and his Matka and Babcia cooked you a meal fit for a king! Thanks for the amazing home style cooked meal. We will be back for sure!
