Great pizzas and great beers. Love the Amarillo and the Finger Lime. Pizzas nice thin bases, wood fired. Nice set up for functions with brewery on display. Nice ingredients on pizzas maybe just need a couple more specials like artichoke or prawns. Friendly staff - reasonable prices.
Beers here are fantastic for a rural brewery, the Hazy Mosaic was the pick of the bunch with all of them very drinkable. It was a nice finish to some big hiking days at Wilsons Promontory.
Food wise, the hot & spicy pizza was delicious and the gluten free base was good quality. But the Aussie and meat lovers pizzas had way too much ham and bacon stacked up, the bacon could have been cooked off a bit before stacking, and the Aussie pizza hardly had any egg. Really nice venue with a great outdoor setting with cool succulent plants and a herb garden out the front, and a big open warehouse with all the brewing equipment on display while dining in. The wheelchair lift is a great touch and shows a good sense of inclusion. Overall a good experience and I would recommend to people travelling through this region to visit.
I was impressed. This seems to be the most happening spot in town! It was a very cute brewery, one that I could see being successful in the city as well.
The pizza was cheap and surprisingly great, with more than 1 vegetarian option. They had a nice selection of beers and we also thought the tasting paddles were great value.
Only removing one star because the start of our experience was very off putting. When we walked in, the entire staff stared at us until one girl asked “how can I help you?”…. It was strange. Obviously we were there to eat. It made us feel like we weren’t welcome. Not the best way to greet customers. Everything was lovely besides that, just would’ve loved a warm welcome!
Great beer; amazing thin crust pizzas. We tried the vegetarian and hot n spicy ones. This place is a gem. I’m surprised more people weren’t there!
Great customer service, excellent beer and the pizzas were awesome. Owner saw I was interested in the brew setup and came over for a chat. Talked me through the whole setup. Top bloke. Cannot recommend their Hazy Mosaic beer any higher. Amazing place to visit.
Best service I've experienced in a long time, staff are amazing. It's very clean and tidy, you would be lucky to find dust anywhere. Tables cleaned up very quickly, and very, very clean toilets. If you're looking for a tasting experience then I guarantee your taste buds will enjoy some of the best beers going around. They don't just cater for beer, you can still enjoy a nice wine, cider and more. Enjoy a great pizza and a great time out with friends. Can't wait for the lockdown to finish so we can all get the full experience. If you haven't been to the Burra Brewing Co, then make your next date catch up with friends and so on a memorable one. Totally recommend the Burra Brewing Co 👍😀
We stopped by this brewery with our kids after completing the rail trail. The food was really good. Wood fried pizza and garlic bread were delicious. They have a selection of beers and spirits and was very refreshing. The infused vodkas were really good and hydrating after a hot day. Very friendly staff too plus reasonably priced menu. Must visit if you are in the area.
Brilliant brewery to spend a cold wet winter afternoon. Would love to come back on warmer day and try their pizza's, which looked and smelt amazing but we had eaten before we got there so didnt try them. But the beers and staff were excellent. Will definitely be back. Thanks again
