The place has a cosy and quintessential Aussie hotel/pub feel with an eclectic mix of furniture and decorations. A great backyard for beer sessions on a nice day too. The food was served fresh and piping hot with a friendly service. Pleasantly surprised with the hearty and generous size of serving as shown by photos attached. Will go again to try a good variety of lunch and dinner options. 5 stars for us!

Nice food ' vegies uncooked. They had a large group in courtyard. I felt the staff was struggling. But I would definitely go again. My parma was really good.

Food was divine! Our family all ate something different and the meals were 10/10. For a pub meal, I would rate the food better than some high end restaurants. Love supporting locals.

My partner and I were visiting Kyneton for the day and we dropped in to this place for a quick bite and a drink. When we walked in we were greeted by a gorgeous pup called Maggie and her owner, Annie. Our experience here was so beautiful, we went from a quick drink to spending almost 3 hours here playing with the puppy and chatting with Annie and some of the locals. Such nice people and very generous servings of food! We got the wedges and chicken parma. Recommend to owner staying in or passing through Kyneton. Thank you for your gorgeous hospitality Annie. We’ll be back again ☺️

Just what the Doctor ordered; Loaded Fries and Garlic & Cheese bread for lunch! Delicious. The Mrs had Grilled Salmon, with Broccolini and Potato; which was unfortunately over salted (rated 3.5 / 5). The beer range is Carlton, which means if you are discerning about your beer, you will struggle. The bottled beer does increase the range, I ended up with a passable Little Creatures Pale Ale. Definitely worth a visit!

Excellent service here, everyone really friendly and one lady pretty funny too. Food exceeded my expectations. Staff were able to accommodate special orders - very professional and so friendly! I’ll keep coming back.

Food tastes great and decent portions on offer. Centrally Located Pub/restaurant with excellent service. I felt like the business is under staffed and the employees are trying to catchup all the time.

Great venue. Gorgeous fire on a winters day. Food and drinks were beautiful, and the service was great. I would def recommend and will be back. Thanks Annie
