The place has a cosy and quintessential Aussie hotel/pub feel with an eclectic mix of furniture and decorations. A great backyard for beer sessions on a nice day too. The food was served fresh and piping hot with a friendly service. Pleasantly surprised with the hearty and generous size of serving as shown by photos attached. Will go again to try a good variety of lunch and dinner options. 5 stars for us!

Food was divine! Our family all ate something different and the meals were 10/10. For a pub meal, I would rate the food better than some high end restaurants. Love supporting locals.

My partner and I were visiting Kyneton for the day and we dropped in to this place for a quick bite and a drink. When we walked in we were greeted by a gorgeous pup called Maggie and her owner, Annie. Our experience here was so beautiful, we went from a quick drink to spending almost 3 hours here playing with the puppy and chatting with Annie and some of the locals. Such nice people and very generous servings of food! We got the wedges and chicken parma. Recommend to owner staying in or passing through Kyneton. Thank you for your gorgeous hospitality Annie. We’ll be back again ☺️
