By far the best fish and chips i have ever had. Portion sizes are huge, Food is amazing and spectacular views of oceans. On a bright sunny day this place would be flooded. We tried the regular Fish n chips, salt n pepper calamari , Bramunddi and house made deserts.
The lobster pasta was yummy however it’d only have half of the portion of the lobster that you really got on your plate. But it was really yummy which I could make it at home now and supersede them as I found out their tricks ;). Their broccoli under the grilled salmon was very yummy and the grilled salmon was also good. I wished it was bigger size as it was cut thin in my opinion. The staff are super helpful and prompt and friendly. Clever staff is what I like! We sat closed by the window with water view. It was a very pleasant dinning experience. In my opinion, the portion of the key ingredients should be bigger as a generosity gesture.

I tried the fish burger with chips and it was very filling. The fish burger came with 2 fillets.
It is quite busy and normally a wait for a seat. I would recommend to try.
I recently visited Boatshed with family and want to write a review to express how happy we were with our experience. The food was fresh and delicious and it located at the beautiful La Perouse right at the beach where you can walk after the lunch or work on your tan before heading to there. Oh also the staff were so helpful and friendly. Overall great, thank you.
Enjoyed the brunch 😊 both the arvo stack and pancakes were great - no complaints here! The coffee was also pretty good. Pricing is decent too. Would defs recommend.
Had a great time at the boatshed La Perouse, we ordered the salmon, greek salad, chips and barramundi. The food was really good and the fish tasted very fresh. Busy place with a great atmosphere, friendly staff and excellent service. I am definitely going again!! check out my post on @sydneyfoodfrenzy on insta.

An amazing cafe by laperouse beach with a beautiful beach view. They serve great cocktails and amazing food as well as great service!
My family and I visited here last Sunday and not only was the food amazing but they were super accommodating despite being inundated with other hungry and keen customers. I initially booked a table outside and asked to be changed to an inside table as the weather turned. They tried everything possible to make this change happen quickly despite how extremely busy they were and they seated our elderly guests straight away until our table inside was ready. Really friendly service and beautiful fresh food. We’ll definitely be back when we’re back in Sydney.
Beautiful restaurant on the water, they were very attentive to our needs when we asked to move to sit outside.
The food was delicious, we loved the cream prawn linguine super tasty, and the seafood platter for 2 was enough to feed four people. Highly recommend getting the platter. I would come back again.
Lovely restaurant located right on the sea shore, so you get a dining experience with a view. Service and food was spectacular. My favourite was the calamari. They just melt in your mouth. Reasonably priced for the large portion served.
Had our work Christmas Party here, great views, very busy venue but service team were very friendly and efficient.
If you love seafood, then go for the shared platters - awesome and so much food, a few hiccups with cocktails a bit hit, and miss with preparation and inconsistently on each beverage order. Other than that, food was served quickly and all good portions.

Dine here several times over the years and it never disappoints. Classic fish & chips are a great choice either for dine in or takeaway.
The lobster linguine is one of my favourites here.
Burgers are great and the seafood platter for 2 is lovely.

It was packed solid and I was only able to get a table 'at the back' still with a view of the sea though which was great. Scallops were delicious as was the fish and chips! Chips especially flavoursome and crunchy. A bit on the pricey side but I enjoyed it!
Got the seafood platter for 2 and shared it among 4 and we were still so full by the end! I feel pictures don’t do justice for how much food there was. Very worth the price and the seafood itself was so fresh. The drinks were so refreshing too, the watermelon and mint frappe was my favourite. Also the grilled octopus was amazing and seasoned well, my friend who’s usually not a fan of octopus actually loved it! The view is such a bonus too, absolutely gorgeous.
Such a picturesque location. Don’t turn up and expect a table though as this place is very popular. Yes, if you wait a bit you might get something, but you are much better off to book or attend mid week.
The food and service is of course, amazing and actually very reasonably priced.
Remember that this place serves the people fresh off Frenchman’s Bay Beach as well as people all dressed up for an amazing lunch, so you’ll get all types here. Either sit outside in your swimmers or sit inside with your Ralph Lauren polo. Either way, you’ll have a great time.
An iconic eastern suburbs institution. Have been here a few times and will definitely return.
