We had the most amazing seafood lunch here recently whilst on holidays for our sons 14th birthday! His seafood pasta was mouth watering and the seafood platter for 2 was perfect!! Thanks for a great visit :)
My hubby and I found the food scrumptious. The Seafood platter for two is our favourite now. Friendly atmosphere, lovely service, and a lovely view of the jetty. Such yummy food.�.
Fresh seafood. Nice staff. Kids meals are of very good value.great for families. Best to make a booking as it gets busy. Could add more variety to the menu.
Our dinner at Ferrymans Seafood Cafe in Lakes Entrance was a most pleasant experience in every way. We had a lovely corner table with a beautiful view over the water with never ending activity from a variety of birds to entertain us throughout the meal. The ambience of this Restaurant on the water and the service were both excellent. Not wanting too heavy a meal we opted for three entrees and all were really great. We had a dish of fried whitebait, one of crumbed scallops, and a "stack" which consisted of a variety of seafood including prawns, bug meat and smoked salmon. The generous amounts of these and a delightful accompanying wine was ample for us, leaving just enough room for one of my all time favourite cakes, a house made Almond Dacquoise cake which along with some great coffee made for a really perfect meal. We will certainly return here the next time we are in Lakes Entrance.
Food and service were great. I highly recommend it if you're staying in lakes entrance. We had the calamari and seafood cocktail entree, and fisherman's platter for one plus fish and chips. All were great.

Loved it. The seafood was incredible. I had Oysters Kilpatrick, followed by the Seafood Platter for one. Everything was spot on. The missus had the Reef n Beef which was amazing. The steak was cooked perfectly and had a great steak flavour. The young fella had the Spag Bog which had nice flavour and interesting pasta. The girl serving us was delightful too. Great food, great service, great location. Cost a fair bit, but it was a special occasion.
Nice restaurant to have fresh seafood. The platter is available from brunch. We love the grilled scallops and Home made scones. Kids enjoyed the Turkish bread with the dipping sauce and herring. Nice place!

We had the natural oysters and seafood sharing platter for $48 and with that you get quite some variety. I was told most produce is sourced locally which is great. I liked how there was a sand crab on the platter, there are plenty of these around here. I wasn't a fan of the pickled seafood but my partner didn't mind it. Only the oysters were sourced a little further out, also size wise they were quite small.
The lady who served us was very friendly and hospitable. I guess if you like seafood and some water views, give this one a go.
Salt and pepper calamari was delicious, and so was the prawn and smoked salmon bruschetta special. Staff were extremely nice and food was quick
The oysters were absolutely Gorgeous and the share platter was even better again. The seafood was so fresh! Terrific views out on the balcony, could not pick a better spot. Staff were lovely and very friendly!
The seafood, especially the crab, is excellent! Visiting Ferryman's is a must on a trip to Lakes. Family friendly environment and accessible to all.
A trip to lakes entrance isn't complete without visiting Ferryman's! One time, i accidentally left lakes without visiting and drove back. The crab is amazing. Infact all the seafood has always been nothing short of spectacular.
