Review Cucina Simpatica - Launceston

Made a quick visit to Launceston from Melbourne. Got there shortly after opening time this Sunday morning, they were already booked out but were kind enough to give me a table. Atmosphere, service and quality were all exceptional! The big breakfast as per my picture, was big and really great! I didn’t need lunch today 😎

One of the only places open for lunch on a Sunday! They have All day breakfast, a great variety of choices and every dish I saw leave the kitchen looked amazing. Our food was filling and super yummy!

Really tasty American style pancakes served with maple syrup, strawberries and cream! The maple syrup was really cold as if it was in the fridge which cooled the pancakes down a bit, but they were still super tasty! Also really yummy oat milk hot chocolate served with homemade short bread and marshmallows are always a nice touch! Staff were super lovely, excellent service and there’s a lovely view of a park just outside.

Amazing food, really friendly staff and such a peaceful atmosphere. I flew in from Brisbane last night and was hoping for a wonderful start to my day, here it is. Ps, the chutney is incredible. Thanks guys

Ordered big breakfast, would have been delicious if they got my eggs right, sent it back and they came back worse. Also visibly could see thick dust on the walls, could be a bit cleaner.

The food is good Presentation is 5/5 Food is 3/5 Unfortunately nothing is seasoned and they rely on sauce to enhance flavour. Mushrooms are bland. Eggs are bland. The toast is like chewing on a boot. Eggs are poached in glad wrap. Hollandaise sauce always tastes good but might be store-bought. Salmon is great. They use real avocados. I still come here often because the meals are nice.
