Review The Eatery On Cameron - Launceston

I was here for breakfast. The breakfast came our fairly quickly, however for the price point I was expecting slightly more. Overall still a good experience.

Came here for breakfast whilst staying at Grand Chancellor (next door). Was very impressed with the prompt and friendly service. The breakfast was delicious and very reasonably priced. I would highly recommend for Breakfast or lunch. Really great place to eat.

Great breakfast location. Had the Bacon and eggs, can't go wrong. Also tried the breakfast wrap and muesli, all tasty. Coffee was very good. Only negative would be a bit slow on the delivery.

We were very disappointed with the service today. I have visited this place several time before and the service was good and welcoming. Usually order was taken by girls who work their and they seems to be polite and smile on their face. But today we were 6 with 1 infant and one 2 yrs small baby girl. We had booked the table in advanced. So after we entered, table arrangement was done by the person I believe he is the owner of this restaurant. Looking to the number of person with 2 small baby he arranged 8 chair🪑, its a small common sense how can 10 month baby sits in a adult chair. And we had to ask him if they have high chair for the baby. He said he has 2, and if you are in hospitality business you should be aware or understand the circumstances and arrange high chair before we ask. How can someone arrange 8 chair for the baby to seat. Now we noticed every other customer came after us when they sat in their respective table, they were served water first. But no-one else bother to bring water bottle and glass to us entire time we were their then finally we had to ask for it jus few min before we left. And as order was taken by the owner himself, we made few request like we said well done bacon, so you can see in the pic if it really looks like well done. And wen we order drinks and said extra hot please for the coffee and the response we get is (we make all the coffee extra hot but by the time we bring, it will be little cool), seriously mate this is how u respond and deal with the customer or its jus with us coz we are not an Australian and some how u think we can be treated or answered in your own way. We all have a tremendous respect for the people here and love the country. We work equally hard and do try to enjoy family time like everyone else's but the treatment/service that we get in few places like this is not acceptable. If it was done by the some staff i could imagine may be he/she doesn’t have experience dealing with customer but owner himself comes up with such attitude with no smile on face & dealing like the way he did is not the right way in my perspective. Food is good everything seems to be fine until today. Just a request plz treat people like the way u wanted to be treated. Everyone in world deserve respect ✊.

Not going to lie, this place feels a little stale. Service was very lovely and friendly but none of the staff seemed very experienced. The food was good. Overall ok but definitely lacked character and atmosphere. Reminded me of an airport Cafe.

Coffee and food was delicious and reasonably priced. Kids loved there pancakes and the birthday boy got a sparkler on his! Highly recommend this place the staff member who served us was lovely.

Do really great omelettes. So good I had to go back for seconds the next day. The breakfast wrap and the muffin are also great value.

Consistently provides a bright, clean atmosphere with freshly cooked food at unbeatable prices, every single time I go. Staff are awesome.

First place dining here for Breakfast n it's a winner. Great food, service and atmosphere. We will be back xx

Well what can I say but bloody good old fashioned service with a smile. The food is absolutely scrumptious and very well presented and priced. Looking forward to networking Kevin and the girls. This place is a hidden gem in Launceston Tasmania just down from City Park and the monkeys and right next door to The Grand Chancellor.

Went here for breakfast this morning now back for lunch! Excellent service and even better food!

had a meal there tonight, clean & bright, and the staff are very friendly. my steak was cooked to perfection☺ will definitely recommend

Had breakfast there yesterday, very nice indeed. We had the $7 brekkie and were surprised to see how big it was! A large mug of coffee to wash it all down was perfect for us and the staff were very nice.

Great place. One of the only places in Launceston you can get food after 3 pm. Awesome.

Lovely staff and amazing food! Wish we had something like this in Hobart.

Had dinner here Saturday night with a group of 7 other friends. Staff were lovely, took us in even though their sign said they were due to close in 10minutes. Pastas were delicious and generous in size and the chef even came to check everything was ok - even though it was fantastic!

My husband & I had breakfast at The Eatery, Cameron St, Launceston this morning. Nicely fitted out, clean, warm & cosy. Had Eggs Benedict and can't fault anything. Lovely coffee, eggs and bacon fresh, tasty & cooked to perfection, sauce delicious on sour dough bread. Couldn't eat it all. Very friendly service. We'll be back for sure. ��

Takeaway dinner tonight... Amazing � Pasta was delicious and service was spot on.

Great coffee and food at reasonable prices. Will return.
