Review Lam's - Launceston

Friendly staff, with well prepared meals. If you are staying at the Villas this is a great option as it is on site. We arrived late with two hungry children - to get a quality meal, direct to our room at The Villas, in under 20 minutes, was great. The value/price balance is OK... 4 stars

The waitress was lovely and greeted us politely but it all went down hill from there. Our meals arrived far too quickly for it to be prepared/cooked freshly. We ordered chicken parmis, had hardly any flavor and smelt like they’d been frozen before hand, the rump was tough and the chicken curry had obviously been microwaved as it took no longer than 5 minutes to come out to the table and we heard the microwave door shut multiple times. The waitress had offered the salad bar, which was kept in an old warming bay. There was minimal salad and the salad presented looked to be a week old. I would not recommend this place, and i definitely won’t be returning. Being a Friday night and no one eating in, obviously the restaurant doesn’t have much turn over and the chef was out the back smoking. Shouldn’t be in business.

This little restaurant was in the motel complex where we were staying. The owner and his wife are very friendly and also the waiter ( who works elsewhere but helps them out) we received very good service. We had a great experience excellent food at good prices.

Food was delicious. Chicken schnitzels were huge and so juicy and yummy. Rump steak was cooked to perfection. Very impressed.

One of the Best places for a meal in the Launceston area, awesome quality meals at a good price, way better then a pub meal and much more affordable then other similar quality alternatives, very friendly staff and quick wait times! 10 out of 10 reccomend.
