Review Neil Pitt's Coffee Shop Cafe - Launceston

I rang three weeks prior to a planned visit to this store. Spoke with James who was incredibly helpful and assured me that he had plenty of very large winter dressing gowns in stock. I explained that I was travelling up from the coast and my time was limited. On my arrival, James was the first person I spoke with and he instantly recalled our conversation and my name. He then went downstairs and collected some garments and brought them to me to make my selection .He demonstrated the benefits of one garment in particular - Aussie made, which I then purchased. Superb service which assures repeat visits. well done and thank you.

I walked in the store looking for a suit today. Tried three jackets with the help of the rep. None of them fitted my size. I have asked what seemed to be a normal question - what size is this!. I was shocked with the reply "it is the store policy not tell customers the size, because they come to size up here and then go buy online." Disappointed. I am giving a 3 stars for making an effort to keep the store doors open.

Terrible customer service. Maybe I'm use to larger city quality friendly customer service, but maybe because of less competition in Launceston Neil Pitt's can afford to not have either. All I came in for was to try on a couple of suits to see what colour and style I like for my upcoming wedding. The lady who served us was abrupt and rude about the size of my thighs. After letting me try on 3 suits rudely remarked that she was taking suits left right and center off the shelves (3 suits *eye roll*) and that was taking up too much time that could be spent on other customers (despite there literally being one other customer in the store). I left frustrated and went down the road to Routleys Menswear and had a completely opposite experience, with incredibly friendly and accommodating staff members who went above and beyond to let me try on different suits and styles without any grumbling or rudeness. If you want good and friendly customer service, I'd recommend going to other places than Neil Pitts.

Dude was so nice, we had a lovely conversation and he was very helpful in helping me find what I needed.

I brought my son here to find something suitable for leavers. The staff were very friendly and helpful in finding items that fit him and suited his style.

Mum said its not as good as it used to be, but 10/10 would still smash. Absolutely majestic On a side note id love to buy the building and turn it into a club. Majesctic club. 100% a great idea. Hit me up Neil.

The young salesman was fantastic, helpfull and on top of his game. I was in town for a new suit, shoes etc and I'm happy to say that Neil Pitt's is one of the very few retailers in Launceston that hasent lost its customer service 🙂 As we were leaving the owner walked in the door and stopped for a chat, nice once again to say that customer service and the art of conversation are not dead yet 🙂 Thanks Neil Pit's for fantastic customer service and most of all friendly and relaxed atmosphere 10 out if 10 👍

I wish i could do minus stars! My now Husband went to Neil Pitts to get his suit made, They were happy to help at the start explained that they would send measurements off to get a high quality suit made. After paying over a $1000 dollars a suit came back that was something we like to describe as a "off the shelf potato sack" the staff went on to say they could fix it agreed that it was made wrong and after several more fittings decided that it was the best they could do, the gentleman we were dealing with went on to say that he had seen polititions wear worse suits. This was my partners wedding suit he deserved to feel a million dollars and all they did was made him feel worthless and dislike our wedding photos! Absolutely disgraced in the service or lack there of service provided by Neil Pitts WOULD NOT RECOMMEND!!
