Review Rendezvous Cafe & Bistro - Launceston

A one star rating is even too much. For a nice suburb and a good location close to schools this cafe needs to improve both their service, attitude and food. I had an “off” feeling when we went in. I decided to stay and give this place a go, unfortunately. From the start it was a uncomfortable experience. The lady making the meals was rude but being sarcastic to my son, opening the door to the deck in a hasty/upset/aggressive manner muttering to herself. The food was less than impressive for scrambled eggs on toast. The eggs had burnt bits throughout and a red over cooked. It was a pretty poor experience and I felt that a little more effort should of gone into something that I payed $18 for. I mentioned my concerns when paying but clearly wasn’t listened to. As I was responded to with “that’s good”. Over all a very disappointing experience and for a place that I was willing to return to prior to eating there.

What a great little place for a meal, we are vegan and our meal was excellent. The service was quick and very good value. Highly recommend this place for a meal. The black coffee was exceptional also.

Coffee tasted awfull very weak like it was a second running ,and the microfoam for Latte wasn't there , like the milk was reheated. Looked like a flat white . Very disappointed for $4.50.

Had a great brunch coffee was perfect and the big breakfast was perfect staff friendly will be returning to try some of the other food on the menu

Had a delicious lunch with the family today. Food was amazing and fresh, can’t wait to go again.
