We are so glad someone recommended this Italian restaurant to us! Beautiful large space, flavourful dishes that are beautifully seasoned, lots of attentive staff, sensational desserts! The standout was the calamari - unbelievable flavour and it was so tender!
Great Italian food! Slightly overpriced for what it is, but makes up for it with excellent service, delicious food and smiles all around.
We visited because of its reputation as a local Italian Australian institution, and it did not disappoint. Had the famous lobster pasta and the spicy Diavola pizza, both were excellent. Pasta were seafood were fresh, and full of flavours.
For reference, the lobster pasta in the attached photo is the half-portion version. We had 3 people and it wasn't enough - it would be good for 2 people or even 1 very hungry person. Order the full portion if you have more than 2 people!
Grappa
Another really great dinner experience at Grappa. Staff are super friendly and happy, thank you Marta for your personalised service and Lily for event planning. I ordered my favourite Charlie Negroni and the bartender served it saying it’s the best in Sydney, he was right. All the meals were a standout but especially the Mancini Spaghetti with Lobster which is large enough to share, and the Tasmanian Scallops, yummy. The desserts were in an Easter theme so the Panna Cotta was in an Easter garden setting and the Tiramisu was in the shape of an egg. Very cool.
