What can I say this place is just absolutely perfect. I had my birthday celebrations here last night and it was flawless. The guy serving us and taking our orders was just so so amazing he was so patient and kind. I had the best night ever. The service there is just on point. The food and cocktails are just delicious and perfect 👌 can't wait to go back 😋

Popped in for a quick drink as we walked past. First time here and was pleasantly surprised by how cozy the space is. Extensive wine range and craft beers on tap. Would love to come back and try their food menu.

Sunday Jazz Sessions 2pm-5pm is a great way to end the week. Be sure to book in advance because you may be turned away. Intimate setting with different spaces inside and outside. Great selection of wine and cocktails. Had the Creek and Cella Meat and Cheese Platter. Recommend for 2/3 people as it was not enough to share between 4 people. Street parking on Norton St but metered so need to check signs.

I always enjoy the craft beer options and the owner is great fun to talk to. I had my birthday drinks here when there was a live jazz band. Was made to feel very special.

Very delicious food and good wine!! First time I came to this place and I’m highly recommend this place to hangout even during the week in the evening. Nice and cozy ambiance 💝 They have live jazz performance tonight (Tuesday night) We drove all the way from eastern suburbs it is worth it to try this place.

Arrived at 615pm with a booking. Was seated quickly inside. Asked for recommendations and was offered the Cella Plate. 2 meats and 2 cheeses with accompaniments. Ordered the Naked Run Riesling bottle of wine. Meat and cheese were lovely. Accompanying lavosh (told this was homemade) was a little bland. Would have preferred bread or maybe combination of bread and lavosh. Lovely service. Great outdoor area in summer and can take dogs. Total was $115 for 2 people Great to support a local venue. Takes Dine NSW vouchers

Great cosy place for drinks! Came here a few months after dinner for a tipple. The cocktails were fantastic and the service was friendly. Definitely a place I’d check out again!

A delightful spot to enjoy cheese and charcuterie with wine in Leichhardt. The charcuterie platter features a different daily selection and we enjoyed prosciutto, cacciatore and lomo, accompanied by lovely Brickfields toasted sourdough and pickled vegetables. The fried spiced cauliflower with sprouts, pepita and sheeps curd was a stunning starter, packed full of flavour with beautiful contrasting textures from the crunchy seeds and creamy cheese.

I was very excited to see this wine bar open with a wide selection of cheeses, charcuterie, wine & beer. Set in a warm & cosy little cottage, the inside is spacious & contemporary. There are cabinets of cheese & charcuterie and a nice long bar. The staff are efficient and helpful if you need some recommendations or have questions. I love the selection of items on offer some familiar some unusual. The housemade lavosh is also fantastic and the honeycomb locally sourced from the Blue Mountains is also amazing. Will have to come back for brunch one day as the menu sound amazing!

Have come here a few times only for the charcuterie and cheese. Great vibe with unlimited housemade lavosh (if you get the right waiter 😉). Ordered the baked Brie last night which is absolutely delicious and also at a good price. Also love the late closing time.

What a wonderful place this is. Aside from the large selection of cheeses and charcuterie, Creek & Cella boasts a large amount of craft beer on tap and a comprehensive wine list. The platters are beautifully dressed and presented by friendly staff and it feels way too easy to spend an entire afternoon just grazing

Impressed. Only had breakfast here so far, which was excellent. For one, the menu is different to what you normally see on breakfast / brunch menus, which is refreshing. The cella bowl is without question the best breakfast I have had in Leichhardt, and the presentation is top notch. Food portions are generous too. The only room for improvement I can see is with regards to the outside seating. In my view it looks a bit bare, and needs a bit more character and "softening up". ie introduce some hanging baskets, and perhaps have some cushions on the seats to make it look more welcoming on the outside.

I've been a fan of the Bitter Phew (check it out if you haven't already - craft beer nirvana!) for some time. So I was delighted when I heard they were opening up an offshoot on Norton St. Especially as it's in my neighbourhood.
This place does not disappoint. A number of solid craft beer taps and a well stocked fridge. Plus an excellent selection of cheese and charcuterie. Anywhere with Jamon is A-OK in my book.
Helpful and cheerful staff and a great atmosphere inside. Visit for an hour or settle in for the afternoon. I usually pick the latter...

I was so happy to see Creek and Cella open on Norton Street and couldn't wait to try it. It is located opposite Norton Plaza and it has a lovely outdoor seating area at the front. The menu had a variety of cheese and meats to choose from. We ordered the Truffle Brie and the Le Crottin Goats cheese both from France which came out with pear, fresh honeycomb and mixed breads. The platter was delicious and perfectly matched with our bottle of Pinot Gris from Tasmania. We also order the warm olives from the food menu which also includes other tasty alternatives such as clams, smoked oysters, dips etc. There is a dedicated cheese and meat fridge inside to help you select what you want. This is more than just a wine bar with a selection of craft beers and other drinks available. This will definitely be my new local and I can't wait to return.
Does My Bomb Look Big In This
“Did you know a wine and cheese bar has opened on Norton Street,” my dining companion asks me casually one morning? By seven that night we’re sitting inside Creek and Cella; so it’s probably an understatement to say that this spot is just what this suburb has needed. The rustic vibe that this Federation bungalow had in its Le Pain Quotidien days, has been replaced by a neutral recycled timber interior, more akin to the tastes of modern day Leichhardt. Along with a long bar, this plain fit-out directs your attention exactly where it should be: on two custom-made cold cabinets or cella frigorifera (as the nod to the area’s Italian heritage in the venue name infers). One is filled with cheese, and the other charcuterie; separated by a shiny meat slicer. Before investigating them thoroughly, I need a drink. What I wasn't expecting to find here were nine on-tap, locally produced craft beers, including my favourite pale ale: Shenanigans Winston American Pale Ale ($8.50/$10). We get stuck into a cold one as we chat to the friendly bartender about the team’s experience, which shines in both their craft beer and wine selections. Founder Aaron Edwards' other venues include Darlinghurst’s Bitter Phew, and a Newtown gin bar called Doris and Beryl's Bridge Club and Tea House, which both seem to have largely flown under the radar. Over some Cuca Razor Clams ($23) – a perfect, simple drinking snack against crisp bread and lemon – I resolve to investigate them both. Prepare your palate for the excesses of meat and cheese with...
