My neighbour and I ordered takeaway pizzas from this place. I like we could choose between two sizes of pizza, usually a regular size is too much for me so we had a medium pizza with just mozzarella and prosciutto and a Capricciosa. Mine was pretty good, Capricciosa probably too salty for my taste.

Incredible pizza. The staff accommodated us as a Saturday night walk in & still kept in mind all the COVID rules for spacing etc.

Really nice food. I was there on a busy Friday night before a Sydney FC game and the service was a little stretched, but overall, very friendly and prompt enough.
Food was great; on par with other high quality Italian restaurants in the area, including Norton Street. Tempted to make it my new local, BYO, and good value. If you frequent other Italian restaurants in Leichhardt or Haberfield, give Castelmola a try!

Very nice staff. Gave us yummy gelato and so yum pasta and pizza. The pasta had great flavour.

The Leichhardt pizza was the best.

Popped in to Castelmola after I was recommended by a friend. It was well worth the visit. The fresh pizzas and pastas were cooked to perfection and full of flavour.
Staff were friendly and accommodating to any requests I had. Professional barista coffee.
Would highly recommend if you are looking for an authentic Italian cuisine.

We've lived around the corner from this Italian restaurant for a while now, and we always get food here. Never had a problem, and they have lowered a few of their prices during COVID, which is both good marketing and thoughtful. My go to pizza place. Full props to you guys. Would recommend.

This place is an absolute gem, the staff are the best I’ve experienced In Sydney and the food speaks for it self. Staff are extremely attentive and incredibly eager to do all they can to ensure they are delivering the best experience possible. <br/>You can’t go wrong with the pasta or the pizza but the “must try” is the Tiramisu. <br/>Perfect night!

Really happy with food and service here. Authentic Italian food in good vibe place. This restaurant is not narrow. We went there on Friday night and called them to book a table 30 mins earlier. Not crowded, relaxing music around.

Best Italian I've had (yes I've been to Italy and yes I've eaten at hatted restaurants).<br/>The stand out dishes such as gnocchi Gorgonzola, chicken boscaiola and the lamb with brandy cream sauce are beyond refute and the pan a cotta and tiramisu is amazing. Joe is such a nice guy.<br/>I've eaten here for years, had my engagement party here and if my wedding venue allowed it he'd be cooking for my wedding as well.

Really enjoyed the food here. Wasn't expecting much when we arrived as there wasn't much atmosphere but the gnocchi Gorgonzola pasta was delicious as was the pizza. Authentic Italian food.

A friend of mine recommended the blue swimmer crab pasta with Napoleon sauce. I wasn't really a big fan of tomato based pasta so I wasn't expecting much but I was blown away! The pasta was so delicious and the portion was generous. Nice waiters and waitresses too. <br/>

Love! We celebrated a birthday there and the food and service was fantastic! We had a range of pizzas and pasta and all were so good! Could not fault anything about it! We were sitting at the back which was great for a large group (and small kids). We will def be going back again!!

Good local Italian restaurant - not super cheap but worth it. I’ve lived in Leichhardt my whole life but have only just got around to trying this place, which has been here as long as I have (29 years). Like all the others have said, the food here is great. It’s not cheap but it’s worth it - pizza bases were nice and thin (not too doughey like some places) and pasta was cooked perfectly. Glad I finally got around to trying it!

Beautiful food. I highly recommend this place. Went there recently and loved everything especially the pasta with crab and eggplant starters. All the dishes that we tried were delicious. I will be back!

Just when I thought Castel Mola couldn't get better it did!! <br/>I've always loved everything about this place but just don't get a chance to go as often as I'd like. The service and food has always been great but I dined there last Saturday night and had the most amazing time ever, our waitress Sandra just could not do enough for us. Her pleasant smile and wonderful attitude will be one of the many reasons will will be back and the food OMG amazing

Established Eatery. Castel Mola has been in business for many years. And there's a reason for it, one that many newer restaurants should take note of: the combination of delicious, hearty Italian food, superb service and reasonable pricing. I've never had a bad meal here, have been visiting this restaurant for many years and hopefully will continue to do so for many years to come.

Excellent dining at Castel Mola. We just had a quick impromptu dinner at Castel Mola: salt and pepper calamari followed by mains of lamb cutlets and cannelloni. The food was absolutely superb, the staff friendly and obliging and the wine was delicious. We've eaten at Castel Mola Restaurant several times over the years and it is consistently excellent. Happy Mother's Day!. Warm and friendly service on Mother's Day made this a special night for three generations. Restaurant packed out with celebrity footballers (just the one) and families treating Mum. Food is always great and pleases everyone from the littlies to Grandma.

Absolutely amazing food, every time. We came across Castel Mola about 2 years ago and it's by far the best pizza and pasta I've had outside of Italy. We frequently get take away to feed visitors, the meal deals are great value and it always receives positive feedback!
