Really lovely meal - we had a lamb shank and a pizza - both delicious and fresh tasting. Its such a beautiful building inside and it has been lovingly restored, a bit of old Smithdown Road preserved! The staff and owner were so friendly (but didn't fuss about) and made us feel very welcome. Its a classic menu, sticking to traditional ingredients - no stupid gimmicks! There's a well stocked bar and our wine was very good. We would definitely go back and recommend you try it out. Its a venue that has had real heart go into it and that deserves a mention.

This really is a superb restaurant. Lovely atmosphere, really friendly and welcoming staff, great layout and the food is just delicious. They also manage the 'is it a bar serving food, or is it a restaurant where you can just have a drink?' conundrum really well by having a seperate but integrated drinking area. Really want this place to do well as they've tried so hard and invested so much into the project. Good luck guys!

Just been for a meal the food was excellent and the place is a hidden gem .staff lovely and very welcoming. Will be going back again soon.
