The food options are plenty and tasty, as are the drinks. The staff are friendly, the space is decorated incredibly beautifully, and the store next to it has some very unique and beautiful homeware items you can purchase!
Food was delicious and came out very quickly, most of the food came with salad and relish and were all large portions. The walnut brownie was massive and was very rich. The food was delicious and very filling as well as a great atmosphere
We loved this place .. just another gem in beautiful regional Victoria. Variety of sandwiches and snacks. Tastey coffee. Road trip to it is wonderful.
I really enjoyed this place. My dad, brother and I were driving home from a holiday down at Inverloch and decided to stop at loch to get a snack. The food we ordered came quickly as well as the drinks. They have a fridge at the front of the shop and I’m the window there are biscuits and loaves of bread. The food tastes really good and the drinks also. Overall we recalled liked olive at loch and would definitely go back.
Olive is the best cafe in my local area. The coffee is great, the atmosphere is wonderful and the food is good too. Only reason I feel unable to give 5 stars is that the availability of vegan options is sporadic and sometimes I'll arrive to find nothing I can eat or only one item in the cabinet. Hopefully more options become available over time. 🙂
Fantastic ham & cheese crossiant. Coffee and service was really nice.
Highly recommend swinging by the little town if travelling through Gippsland.
The ham and cheese Croissant was tasty. Coffee was ok. A sparrow with beautiful colours visited us while we were eating.
I've heard only positive reports about Olive at Loch and was finally able to visit it myself for late lunch. It was so lovely, with a wonderful, country style interior, creating a warm, friendly and interesting atmosphere in which to enjoy a meal. I felt completely content eating on my own. My Beef and Ale pie with tomatoe chutney, salad and light dressing was so delicious! The pastry was light, delicate and the pie was absolutely full of yummy beef. I enjoyed the salad too and my chai tea to finish.
I ate indoors, but the outdoors is also well protected and was being well used.
Parking is good in the street and you won't have any trouble finding this absolute treasure.
Give it a try, just head in through the green door, it's certainly worth the pleasant drive.
