Iconic country style cafe with outlook over the river. Friendly staff and great value, tasty food. Always worth dropping in here on road trips up and down the coast.

I had a pleasant experience. Limited breakfast menu however there were add ons. I got a bacon n egg roll with add on mushroom & hashbrown, my bf got an egg & bacon wrap both were delicious 🤤 reasonable priced and quick service. It would be quite picky to add the decor was a bit outdated, chairs were uncomfortable and was sweating without air-conditioning (28° day) but overall good experience with friendly staff 😄

Hubby and i went for lunch. It was very very tasty and we will be back. Tip get rid of the flowers their very tacky and look unsightly.

Local cafe and with tasty takeaway food options. Loads of riverside parking and nice places to sit and eat by the river. Very easy to get back to the highway going in either direction if heading north or south.

Great place to go and enjoy a cold drink the staff were so kind and helpful when we asked about a free hot shower anywhere they recommended the caltex. Thankyou roses Cafe Macksville.
