We are Maitland locals who have been dining at Fratelli now for a number of years, yet it still continues to wow us each time. The food is always on point; it’s a sophisticated menu, yet also rustic, generous and comforting - as any genuine Italian should be. The dishes are made with love and served with pride. The wine list is extensive, showcasing many local Hunter Valley varieties, as well as authentic Italian wines. But what sets Fratelli apart is its amazing team, and its consistency. The kitchen runs like clockwork and the service is simply exceptional. We work in the hospitality business ourselves and are continuously impressed. The wait staff are prompt, attentive, friendly and knowledgeable, and they never miss a beat. Being welcomed on arrival and farewelled at the end of the evening by the owner Dan (no matter how busy they are at the time) will never get old. Fratelli is such a well-oiled machine and many restaurants can only hope to aspire to the calibre of food, service, hospitality and professionalism that Fratelli offers. Your team should be very proud of what you have created and also contributed to our local food scene. Maitland is so very, very lucky to have you.
Nice restaurant, meals were a good size.
We tried the Arancini, seared scollops & seafood marinara & everything was cooked superbly. We will be back soon!
