Best itillian food I’ve ever had in melb , service was amazing and food was well portion sizes , if I wasn’t from Tasmania I’d eat here every night ;-), staff knew how to make the right recommendations , even down to wine choices

I had an amazing dining experience here recently. I was blown away by the quality of the food and the generous portion sizes! Everything fresh, something to suit every taste bud and gluten free options as well. Mine host Dallas and his staff are awesome, welcoming and friendly. I’ll definitely be going back next time I’m in town.
Ordered takeaway via Deliveroo. I tried the vegetarian and the pumpkin, spinach and goat's cheese pies. Both were generously topped and decently sized, although not super hot by the time they arrived. There was quite a bit of confusion when placing my order but the staff were very communicative and helpful throughout the process. Quality wasn't the best but pretty good overall. I would visit here again, but would probably dine in next time.

My partner and I went for dinner last Friday and were pleasantly surprised by the level of professionalism within the establishment.
The service was outstanding. Even being a friday night, we had 1 waitress and 1 waiter constantly attending to our needs throughout the night. The wine was perfectly matched to our meals, and the food was absolutely delicious.
My partner ordered the 'signora elena' pizza and I ordered the fettucini marinara along with a simple garden salad.
Pricing was reasonable and well worth it considering the level of service and amazing food that was delivered.
Highly recommended for an intimate dinner for two or even a larger group
The restaurant was closed for a private function but the staff still accommodated our booking for 4. Good, authentic food. Honest, genuine service from the gentleman who was doing everything from cooking to hosting and service! When we asked some questions about different dishes, he knew all the answers. Shows they make their own proper food from scratch.

Was craving for pizza one night and found Assaggi. Walked in seeing the wood oven and pizza smelled so good. The restaurant did not disappoint us. Pizza was yum. Also tried their homemade pasta. The marinara sauce tasted like prawn bisque, seafood was also really fresh. The staff were lovely. We will visit again for sure!
Homemade pasta was unreal, really authentic and that’s pretty much what you’d get in Italy. Lovely restaurant but not too expensive, highly recommended. Maybe don’t order pizza, you gotta try the home made pasta!
This is a good place to dine and wine with family and friends. The ambiance is relaxing and really cozy. Staff are very attentive, food is delicious and freshly made too. Had the seafood special fettucine, crab meat, and garlic herb focaccia. All was great. Pasta is so good as well. Will return.

Had the Sirenetta, the sauce was just fine but the homemade pasta was delicious, so distinct from storebought. A classy place suitable for dates or more formal occasions.
Excellent hospitality & service from the Italians. We thoroughly enjoyed all dishes: polenta chips, pizzas (Margherita, Delisioza), pastas (Spag Bol, Fett Carb), specials (snapper, creme brûlée). The teens have big appetite though so we did get a big bill.
