This place is great. Amazing food, friendly staff, great atmosphere at a great price. I would recommend to friends and family, definitely will be back here again

We've always enjoyed coming to the NL tavern for some good basic pub grub. They do some great lunch specials with a drink - can't beat the value!
Have had the $10 lunch special several times. We've had a steak, schnitzel and fish and chips. For $10 and for lunch it wasn't huge but good enough. Not amazing - but at least a nice enough setting (after you order and pay of course at the counter - I think we then picked up food via the buzzer system). Got drinks separately from the bar. KFC or other takeaway etc would cost you the same/or more and just in a takeaway box and noisier seating area and no alcohol obviously. We think lunch special is quite good as tavern food is very expensive these days i.e. $24.95 is usually the special and nothing amazing. Don't know if would be that impressed if went at night and if more expensive and meal size the same etc. But good for reasonable lunch time special. Hopefully the horrible reno works is over - last time we went there were diggers and bulldozers sitting in our laps and it was unpleasant to say the least. Assume it would be all nice and new again now (hope so!!!)
Large menu, steak was cooked perfectly, service was a little slow but it was a Friday afternoon. Not as good as mango hill tav but it's a nice place to eat after a busy day shopping.

Had lunch here on several occasions, and always left full and happy. Great pub food, casual atmosphere, fast (mostly) service. The portions are decent, however they have gotten smaller in the course of the last year, especially sides of chips & salad. $10 lunches are great value, but unfortunate you can't get them on the weekend anymore. Steaks are always cooked right as ordered, pork ribs are delisious. Service is fast, unless it's really busy, could improve on friendliness, but than again, it's a pub, not a classy restaurant. Overall, food is good quality and value, great place for an informal lunch or dinner.
Not bad at all. Can see how it's a perfect central location to meet with friends or family. Food choices typical for pub style. Enjoyable! Stand out was the chicken parmy. Steak ok but could've been hotter. Braised pork sandwich pleasant. Just losing its personal service with the online ordering concept but not uncommon nowadays. Overall, not a bad place to chill and watch the vibe of people walking past.
Very friendly service, the food was really good. Easy to order and pay for our food via scanning the QR code. I also like the location of this tavern and lots of parking nearby.

Having taken my parents out for a late lunch at the Tavern we were greeted by the assistant manager who had us seated straight away offering us complementary garlic bread.
The food was impeccable and the service more so.
The delivery of the food was delayed slightly so a round of drinks was offered to the table for the wait!
A lovely place with excellent staff and service.
Tanya-Lee greeted us with a lovely smile and friendly welcome and offered an outdoor dining option. Whilst we were buying drinks at the bar a table became available and she cleaned it straight away and offered it to us. She was just so lovely as were all the staff. Our meal arrived in a timely fashion and was delicious. Great night. We will be back.
The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Fast drinks, didn't wait long for food that tasted great and every single one of the staff had a smile and were willing to assist with requests. Not to loud or too large of an establishment. Recommend highly!!!!
Jesse was especially helpful ensuring we were happily fed before our movie.
