It is very rare that you come across a delightful decoration and the luxuries of modernity restaurant with absolute delicious foods. As a customer myself, Sokha Phnom Penh Restaurant earns my highest recommendation. Last night, I hosted my anniversary with my partner – and I must take this opportunity to make this recommendation. The menu offers a variety of mouth-watering starters. They were exquisite! The main courses are spectacular. I could taste the freshness and the dishes has the warmth of my home-made food, Cambodia. The food's presentation is flawless. One thing that I must say, thanks to the owner and hostess, a very warm charming woman, is always around willing to exchange some kind words with all her customers. I had a pleasant dining experience with all the foods last night and the most exquisite flavours at Sokha Phnom Penh Restaurant. Well done team!
Probably would be the best Cambodian restaurant in the state . Not fine dining but for authenticity., Food has a real home style feel to it, which keeps me coming back
Fantastic first experience, I highly recommend this restaurant to everyone. The food is so delicious, with plenty of flavour.The pricing is affordable and serving is a good size. The staff is also very friendly and helpful. Will go again.
What a wonderful first experience of Cambodian food! Great service and I appreciate how the owner prides himself on making his sauces from scratch. I would say Cambodian food is a blend of Vietnamese and Thai cooking. I did find the menu had a lot of Vietnamese dishes such as beef noodle soup, bo kho, and banh cuon.
We were impressed the Seafood Amok and Crying Chinese Broccoli as recommended by the owner. The seafood was cooked well and soaked up the curry sauce. The crying Chinese Broccoli was definitely a refreshing dish with the beef bathing in citrus-salty-spicy sauce. It's one of those dishes which are a must order if you were dining with a group especially. Portion sizes are great and worth the money you pay for. Highly recommended!

Driven pass this place for so many times, never thought of popping in for a try. out of places to dine, decided to give it a go.
very nice clean looking place once inside.
started of with quail, and cambodian BBQ beef. quail was meaty and juicy, cambodian style marinated bbq beef #wow#smokey#bestfavour, got 3skewers in a serve. followed by 4mains. got recommended fish amok, best way to describe would be a curry like, sauce was so light and subtle, something i never had before, the best. Then mussel in Tamarind sauce, very nice balance in term of sauce was not too sour, mussels were cooked perfectly. 3rd dish was squid in young pepper corn, they even have the whole pepper corn in the dish, cooked in black pepper. lastly was prohok ktis, description said pork mince cook in fermented fish, first impression was "NOP"
but mrs wanted to try, it served with fresh vegetables on the side. Gave it a try "OMG" was so good, could eat the whole lot on my own. These foods are not the ordinary foods you would normally find in other restaurants.
so 2 angkor beers, 2 glasses of riesling, 2 entrees, 4 mains and couldnt fit in a dessert:-( total bill came to just over $100. cant complain so much to eat, foods were superb, if i could rate them 6 stars i definitely would. so value for money. not to mention the service provide was excellent. keep it up guys, people just needed to know you and give it a try.
We have been several times to this restaurant and about to take some overseas visitors.
Great food, great friendly service. Would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone.

Such an awesome find. The food couldn't be faulted. The service absolutely outstanding. So so so much to choose from. Certainly worth the visit - will definately be going back. And the prices were very reasonable.

I was searching for the most "Cambodian" restauarant in Adelaide, and found this place. Three friends and I visited on a Thursday evening, and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The staff were gracious and kind, patient as we considered our meals, and offered helpful advice to us when choosing our dishes.
We settled on two entrees to share, and four mains. The entrees, marinated ox tail skewer, were delicious and tasted just like what I had eaten on the streets of Phnom Penh last year! As for the mains, the green curry was exceptional but very hot (for my friends, I love hot stuff!), the chicken amok was delightful and rich, and the fried pork chop was also pleasant, but more mild. The fourth dish I cannot recall-but it was great too. We all ate for just over twenty dollars each, which included the drinks we ordered (two beers, a coke, and a Cambodian iced tea).
Do not expect a hipsterfied, tarted-up restaurant. Instead expect pleasant service, value prices, and delicious, authentic food. Go and try this place out! Well done guys.

Warm and Friendly Family. Walking into the dining room of Sokha Phnom Penh feels exactly like walking into your family's dining room. You get treated like a brother (or sister) and the service is spot on. The menu is wide and caters for many food preferences, such as my wife's refusal to eat beef. Today, just like every time I go, Sokha recommends a dish for me to try, and it is always a winner, I never knew that Cambodian cooking had so much depth and variety. If you want to go to a good asian restaurant around without breaking your bank card, skip the other Vietnamese restaurants in the area, and go to the only Cambodian restaurant in Adelaide.

Little Hidden Gem. I don't normally write restaurant review but Sokha Phnom Penh Noodle House truly deserves all the praise it can get, and it would be a shame if I don't share the love.
Since our first visit about a year ago, this place has been one of favourite places to eat and we've also made our family and friends regulars too. Everyone we've recommended here have not left disappointed.
Although easy to miss on the busy Grand Junction Road, once you find it, you like us will realise this place is unique and a nice alternative to the typical Vietnamese retuarnat serving "Pho". I believe this is actually the only Cambodian restaurant in Adelaide. Like myself, you're probably not familiar with Khmer cuisine, but I promise you won't be disappointed. The extensive menu offers a wide range of dishes to choose from. We've tried almost 90% and still cannot tell you our one favourite dish, we love it all. A MUST TRY - Must start with entrees, they are all equally delicious, so i recommend ordering a few to share! I also love their traditional Chicken or fish Amok, and can never seem to pass up a bowl of their soul-warming noodles soup!
Sokha's is a family owned restaurant, and service is always friendly, warm and welcoming.
Recently the restaurant licensed to serve alcohol which is just the icing on the cake.
We truly never leave disappointed. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!
