The Girls coffee bar thankfully allows guys in, and that's a relief as by this stage of the trek to Toowoomba I'm ready for some caffeine loving.
Well, in truth, less me and more the driver, but that sultry sip of Cappuccino (*****) drink returns 'the eye of the tiger' and, as a result, you're definitely 'gonna hear me roar!'
It pushes all the right buttons with strength, frothiness and flavour, and alongside a rather expensive melting moment cookie (******) the 'bees knees' where chocolate cookies are concerned - this is a magic roadside moment that is well worthy of your attention. Blame it on the girls...
A fantastic pitstop if you are heading to Toowoomba or out West. The Girls Coffee Bar is tucked away on the side of the road next to a florist, but there is plenty of signage leading up to the coffee bar to ensure you will not miss it, including sign that let you order a coffee over the phone so it is ready for you to pick up! Our last visit to The Girls Coffee Bar was at 7:30 Sunday morning and there was about 20 other people dining in when we arrived! We just order some takeaway coffee and gourmet sausage rolls to go. The coffee is always brilliant here and the gourmet sausage rolls are seriously the best sausage rolls I've ever had. There is so much else to buy including sweets, cheesecakes, relishes, sauces and much more! The Girls Coffee Bar is certainly a pit stop to make if you are driving through.
We just had lunch at The Girls. A steak works burger and a Best As chicken burger. Both were delicious and great value. Definitely be back again ( not the first time either ). The staff are always friendly and efficient.
