such a good environment, pretty place...
all the servers was so friendly and attentive...
we went there just for cocktails and dessert tho,
we tried 4 different cocktails and the strawberry basil was the best one...
for dessert my hubby ordered affogato and i ordered chocolate fondant (sooooo YUMMMYYY :3)
Absolutely delicious tapas. Our orders came out very promptly too - all warm not as if they were pre-cooked or re-fried. Especially loved the brocollini, brussel sprouts and croquettes. The strawberry dessert was out favourite.
Visited on a busy Saturday night, no room inside but a table for the 4 of us on the terrace area. Unfortunately I don’t remember the name of the guy who served us but he was friendly and on the ball, checking we received all our orders and chasing up any delays. Great selection of tapas for vegans and omnivores. There were at least 3 options that were already vegan and looked like a few others that could be veganised. I can personally vouch the chargrilled broccolini, pea ravioli, and tempura cauliflower were all delicious. Large cocktail and spirit list. Not the biggest servings of food or cocktails so not a cheap night but the quality is excellent so I consider it well worth it.
An absolutely fabulous restaurant. The menu is fantastic. And the food is exquisite. I would say best chef in town, if not in Western Australia. I am very happy to dine here every day. The ambience is of perfect and intimate. We loved dining here, it certainly made itself a highlight in our babymoon. Staff are very lovely and friendly. Management know the menu and all components inside and out, and are very informative and accommodating. Highly, highly recommend.
Love this place! Food is so good, as where the drinks and decor is on point. We popped in for lunch on Good Friday, staff where all cheerful and welcoming. I had a caterpillar in my haloumi salad which I was more than happy with in the end because I knew how deliciously fresh that parsley was! The staff took it away promptly and the manager flew over apologizing and offered to take it off the bill or provide a replacement dish. We had the beef, broccoli, baked cauliflower, grilled haloumi and a few more - all perfectly portioned and yummmo! The fries were served in a hot bowl which really does it for me haha, nothing worse than a cold chip. We definitely all look forward to coming back here!
My partner and I thoroughly enjoyed our dining experience at Morries. We really appreciated the great service as well as the attention to detail. It was our anniversary and this didn’t go unnoticed as we were kindly offered well wishes and a complimentary drink upon arrival. Our favourite dishes of the night were the pork belly, grilled haloumi and scallops tostadas (basically everything we ordered). Our only regret is not being able to try more! This will definitely become a new tradition for us when visiting the Margaret River region.
Travelling to Margaret River - we wanted to give it a try. Cosy ambiance, nice lights, warm music. Definitely a great atmosphere in here. Staff is really meticulous & dedicated. Count with four tapas + one main for a couple. Among the tapas, we really loved the beef tataki. The Chef did play well with some interesting/punchy spices on the other dishes. As a main, we picked up the gnocchi with some dates- a plate we absolutely loved! Wine list on the glass is limited but they also had a lovely Pinot Noir. Cocktail list is great and illustrated in an original way. Ultimate treatment came with their chocolate fondant...
Had an amazing dinner here this summer. Loved the food and cocktails. The gnocchi was amazing!Staff were super friendly and ambience was great.
Came here for a late lunch on a Saturday! Ordered some tapas to share! Such a gorgeous venue. The staff were lovely and the food was delicious. Reasonably priced and in the entertainment book also. Def worth a visit!
There are only a few places in Margaret River which are open till midnight. We were staying very close to 'Morries Anytime' and decided to go here in the evening. We stayed for some time and walked down the main strip in Margaret River and went back again for late dinner. The experience was great.
We got a lot of time to try out many food varieties. The Food and Service were commendable considering that there was so much rush on that weekend.
Quality! It Shouldnt Be That Hard! Love A Wonderful Mouth Full Of Wholesome FOOD!

My partner went to the gym it was out second night in Margaret river, because the gym was broken at Leeuwin apartments we had to join a local gym. Well while she trained I though I’ll search for somewhere to take her nice for dinner
since we where kid free and my gf was going through a hard time.
So while she was training I called this restaurant, it was about 7pm. I asked them I saw on Zomato that is was open till 12 what time does the kitchen close. The young guy said last order by 8:30.
So rushed my gf to finished her gym session and we went back to the hotel room to get ready.
I booked the table for 8.. we got there at 8:20 I explained to her what the guy said on the phone. So we rushed placing our order. Then another 3 tables walked in. My gf was so furious because now it was like 9 pm they where still letting people into the restaurant and I rushed her gym session 😬.
The waiter came over asked if we wanted drinks. We asked do you make mojitos? He said we sure do. I smiled and said we will have two of them. I smiled looked and my gf and said I hope that’s the drink you wanted! She smiled and said you know me to well... in the mean time we looked at the menu....
I asked my partner if she wanted a entree she said no we can share one if you like. I said well I really want to try there special. The goats cheese she said ok we can share it.
I then ordered my main. I chose the wagyu beef, it was nice but small portion for the price...
My partner chose the barramundi. I must say the barramundi was by far a much better choice and better value for money.
So as we where eating our mains our second cocktails came out. I asked the waiter can we sit over on the couch after we finish our meal and drink our cocktails. The waiter smiled and said of cause.
We moved to the couch we where half way through our cock tail and the waiter came over and said we are calling last drinks did you want one more we said that would be great we will have two mojitos.
They where cleaning up and it was o my me and my partner left in the restaurant and I asked did you want us to finish these drink fast and leave they said no take your time we are going to be here at least for 30 mins however if you can pay no so we can count the money then you can leave when ever your ready.
After being told they close early we rushed to get there we could of taken our time and enjoyed our meal a little better. It was good we went back 2 night later for drinks and ordered take away because the kitchen had closed but the lady said the chef turned on the grill for us. So we said we will order for take away and we will have a few cock tails. We explained to the female waiter about our first experience there and she was so humble polite and was very apologetic about everything.
So depending on the staff the food is always good drinks are amazing and I recommend it. It is a little on the expensive side but I’m not complaining...
I come to morries every time I’m in town and it never disappoints. The menu is constantly changing which can be sad when you love an item to find it’s not there anymore. But it doesn’t matter because every thing I’ve ordered is always exceptional. I’m a vegetarian and am always spoilt for choice and come out uncomfortably full (cause I want to eat ALL the food) and my husband is a picky eater, yet it is still one of our favourite places six years after we discovered it! The drinks menu is excessive (in a good way) and all the cocktails are delicious. And the service is always perfect. Thank you for never letting us down morries! See you on the next trip!
We are foodies who eat out a lot, this place is one of the best. We had the Masterstock Pork Belly, Japanese Chicken, Steak Tatare and a Braised duck broth (more like a lovely winter soup) to share between two. We also had the Forest Floor Panna Cotta (literally looks like a forest floor) for desert, oh my ..... yum, yum, just more yum. Keep the chef! And the service staff!
Thanks for a great laid back evening!
The place feels elegant and modern without being overbearing. Service was prompt and friendly.
The pork belly was a perfect texture, tender with some crispy bits. I did find that the sauce was a bit too sweet for my liking. The Japanese style chicken was crispy and met expectations. We also ordered potatoes in duck fat, but this was a bit of a disappointment as I felt that they didn't have the crunchy outer layer that I like in a baked potato.
Dessert was good, the ice cream and fig combination was lovely. All in all a solid place that serves up exactly what you'd expect in Margaret River: fresh produce cooked simply.
Incredible cocktails and my sirloin steak was super tasty. Not forgetting to mention the bread and butter was delicious too. Very friendly service as well alongside an awesome atmosphere
Took some clients out for dinner whilst in Margaret River. We dined our on tapas all night. Each dish was very tasty and well put together. The Japanese chicken was my favorite dish. The service was very good. If you have a sweet tooth, I would recommend the brownie.
Exceptional meals. Flavour wise, quality wise, combinations. All on point. Service was great. Beautiful venue. Would return for sure! Setting a high standard for a town that is full of competitors - thanks Morries team x
Had some food and drinks here while in Margaret river. Delicious food and cocktails here! Friendly service though the waitress seemed to try to take some of our uneaten dishes away too quickly. We had the charred broccolini, roasted baby carrots, pork belly with Thai caramel and lime, the duck liver parfait and the shark bay scallops. My favourites were the scallops and the broccolini. The scallops were so tasty, I could eat the whole dish to myself. The broccolini was simple and the romesco sauce matched well. Love to come back here!
We have been here before and had a great experience. Tonight was overall a good night albeit our waitress made me feel uncomfortable and but me several times. Even my husband noticed that she acted I wasn't there and when she did address me, she was curt. I was too upset to say anything at the time and just wanted to leave. However, the manager and rest of the staff were amazing. Hopefully, when we return, we will have the great food and be served by any other of the great staff.
Walking down the main strip in Margaret River and it was lunch time, take out the trusty Zomato app to see what it would recommend.
Was not disappointed with the food and service being top notch. I had the charcuterie board but will definitely try more of the menu next time I'm in town.
We have only been here for dinner but it's a really nice place in the heart of Margaret River. Food is delicious and has an extensive wine list to go with it. Plus, service has always been excellent when we visit.
Lovely ambiance and good food. Great place for dine in or just grab a beer or wine. The best part is open till late night which most of the eatery will be close in this area after 6pm.
Food is fabulous and fresh. We had a late lunch, a few small plates and they were all delish! The grilled haloumi was fantastic and the drunken whitebait was amazing!
Our evening at Morries started badly as our reservation appeared to have been lost. But the staff rescued the evening for us and soon found us a table. The rest of the evening was a wonderful experience. The service, food, and wine were top quality. We ordered 5 small plates for the 2 of us. The dessert range was limited so we decided to have 2 more small plates instead. The range of small plate dishes is very good and we enjoyed every dish. We finished with affogato with local liqueurs from The Berry Farm. A great evening!
Easily the best pork belly I've ever had (salad).
Excellent service, very prompt and friendly.
The restaurant is beautiful inside, cool little sheltered part at the front. Thank you!
Moreish Morries. A warm & lazy Saturday at local wineries was rewarded further with drinks and nibbles at Morrie's. The casual atmosphere belies the sophistication of the comestibles - excellent cocktails and delicious food.
A special of fried artichokes, and another of the more substantial goat with pearl couscous, were both brilliantly flavoured and perfectly seasoned. Delightful. Service is likewise relaxed but great. The staff know their stuff, are friendly not pushy and have skilled staff in the kitchen whom they support so well. And prices are reasonable - about $60 for a cocktail, wine, entree & main shared between two before tip. Mmmmmmmmm
Brought my Gorgeous Wife for dinner last night for our 25th wedding anniversary....
I cannot thank you enough for the most amazing night of food, wine and attentive staff, we had a ball.
We ate small plates so we could try more of the menu, everything was superb... the service was perfect and attentive and your wine list did not disappoint... our negronis were the best... see you again soon.
Cheers Michael
Great little place. We got 6 small plates between two, was all very flavoursome and beautiful to look at. I loved the pork belly, scallops with chilli jam and ginger jelly.... so yummmy! Very relaxing atmosphere with great staff.
Every dish we had tasted so good, the flavours were amazing, and there were no generic dishes either! There was a big collection of nice imaginative cocktails, and the staff were very friendly and attentive and the ambiance and decor were both great! Would definitely go back and recommend!
Another good place down in Margaret River!
I would suggest to start with the jerusalem artichoke and the scallop and venisson carpaccio.
Both were awesome.
For the main, I think the chorizo pasta is the best!

Morries is one of the go-to places in Margaret River town ship; the food always good, and very different from run of the mill; well put together wine list, and helpful, welcoming waiters. And it is nicely set-up, too. I was in town for a quick visit and after arriving felt in need to refreshment so walked on down and, despite being only mid-afternoon it was busy indeed – good sign as to its popularity and quality – with the outdoor area completely full, so it was inside for me.
Dined here on a Sat night late October on a recent interstate visit. Loved the food, service and ambience, the place was rocking! We shared and enjoyed a range of tapas items including the pork belly, buffalo chorizo, fried cauliflower, scallops & venison, kingfish ceviche, special of lamb croquettes and roasted eggplant side. Had a delicious mojito cocktail to wash it all down. For dessert I had the cheese for 1 and enjoyed the tarago river triple cream brie (OMG it was delicious) and hubby enjoyed the mini pav which he loved also. Really enjoyed this place, if we ever visit Margaret River again, we will definitely return. If your looking for a great place to eat and drink in MR, check this place out.
It's my first time in Margaret River. This restaurant is really good! Good service and nice food. We ordered one spaghatti with mushrooms as a side and also steak with eggplant. Strongly recommend mushrooms! Will come back.
We have always had a good feed whenever we come here - the food is fresh and interesting. On this occasion we had dinner with an assortment of tapas. The standouts on this night were the Japanese chicken, tempura whiting and artichoke heart (special).
The only let-down was the rocket salad which was overdressed and dominated too much by the Parmesan.
The service was excellent and attentive - we easily got a booking through Dimmi, maybe because we came at 5.30pm. The restaurant was filling up by the time we left.
Overall, a pleasant experience and less than $90 for two (including chicken, whiting, artichoke, rocket salad, scallops and venison, haloumi, fries, 2 x icecreams and a pint of beer).
We were hunting for a dinner place. Couldn't decide where to go and walked pass this place. It was full of people hence we went in.
It's a tapas bar. We had dinner at this place. We ordered the specials. Beetroot cured salmon with 68deg cooked egg served with asparagus, buffalo churrizo, pork belly, chargrilled eggplant, grilled artichoke.
I think the food was good but some was average the pork belly needs to be cooked longer.
I will give it another try if I have a chance next time.
Really good service and even better food! Ambiance was very welcoming and comfortable, definitely would reccomend to friends! Open later to most other venues in Margeret River, even stayed open later just for us.
The music and the artwork were very impressive. Will return here for sure.
Yummo definitely would return for tapas and drinks pork belly and whiting were awesome and everything else we had was equally lovely and service was outstanding.

We visited this popular place during lunch to take advantage of their $25 lunch special which included any lunch main with a glass of wine or beer. The service here was efficient, while the decor was modern and sleek. Definitely worth a visit if you are in the Margaret River area.
Went there for dinner, family of four, chose to have an early dinner as we know the place gets so packed and busy. Wasn't too full by the time we rocked up, overall good service, food ok some dishes just a tad little too small for the price.
One of the best meals I've ever had!!! Partner and I shared the two entree specials for the night - venison carpaccio and bacon and mushroom croquettes - so good we had to order two more entrees!! Second round was pork belly and venison with seared scallops. For main, I had the porterhouse with kipfler potatoes, roasted beets, celeriac purée, buttered chard and jus. Partner has the prawn and chorizo linguine.
The steak was the best steak I've eaten in a very long time. Beautifully rested and melting in the mouth. Accompaniments fitted perfectly, buttered chars was especially delicious.
We had amazing service - a lovely waitress who checked on us just the right amount of times :) I honestly can not say a bad word about our experience at Morries - was the highlight of our trip. Faultless.
Great service, lovely food, and well priced considering the beautiful quality of the dishes. We had the scallops and venison for entrée which was small but very tasty, the porterhouse and scotch fillet for main which were both beautifully cooked and garnished, and both espresso martinis and gin and tonics for drinks which were lovely. Highly recommend this restaurant!
Went to Morries for lunch on Sunday. We arrived a bit before our 12pm booking and the place was locked so guessing they don't do breakfast on weekends anymore? Our lunch was served quickly and our meals were very nice. I had the prawn and chorizo pasta and he had the burger. Service was attentive and friendly.
Amazing!!
I came here tonight with my boyfriend and his family. The waitress serving us was extremely helpful and friendly. The kitchen was super accommodating to my dietary requirements and even made up a desert for me to enjoy! The food was beyond delicious and the service was exceptional! Strongly recommend to vegans, vegetarians, meat eaters and basically everyone! Just let them know what you can't have and they should be more than happy to make your experience enjoyable :)
What a great little place. We absolutely love this place. Great food, great value, great service. Ticked all the boxes. Well done. We'll be back!
Dinner Saturday night. Busy little bar and restaurant. Friendly staff. Nice atmosphere. Choice of tapas or mains. We had tapas which was really good. Prospectors cab sav 2012 very nice. Shared dessert platter. Great food and good value.
Cozy and intimate. Morries anytime is great for the older/ more reserved crowd. Whilst we dined (for dinner) with our baby and where happily cater for, the overall vibe is more of late night spot for romantic canoodling and long catch ups. Our meals were beautiful presented and equally tasty. Service was friendly and simple. Overall a good spot, we'll definitely return on our next trip to Margs.
Amazing restaurant, great tapas, excellent service, awesome atmosphere. I would highly recommend this restaurant for dinner or drinks well worth the money.
Our first taste of Margaret River, my SO and I just loved Morries. Wait staff were polite and helpful without being overbearing, food was simple but well executed. Morries has the option for both larger meals and tapas. We had the croquettes special, the fig special, and the pork belly. It was some of the best tapas I've ever had. The croquettes especially stick out in my mind because they were just so well done. I would definitely recommend it.
Continuing our wonderful food journey from Adelaide to the Margaret River for the Gourmet Escape Weekend (3rd! just love it!) we decided to head to Morries for dinner as we sussed it out earlier in the day and thought, yep we like this menu. Service was excellent and the place was totally full, we were lucky to even get a table. Decor is great and service is excellent. The staff really seem to care here. We started out with the artichokes which were just delicious, then the scallops and venison, again, very good, pork belly, nice. I had the duck for my main and even though this was quite a nice dish, the jus was missing off the plate and I was told it was on there, but it wasn't. This was rectified very quickly. The duck dish also has potatoes and celeriac puree on it, personally I didn't think it needed both. More puree would have been great as it was delicious. Foodie mate had hot smoked salmon and thought it just average, plus it is quite a small serve. We had the share dessert platter, which was not good at all. Three tiny portions of non eventful desserts and one that I would not class as a dessert at all but a piece of plain something pastry? This plate was $31. We did not finish this as we just didn't really like it and thought it was way overpriced for the portion size. We did mention this to the Managers and they were more than amicable and immediately removed the charge from our bill and relayed our disappointment to the kitchen. This is never a nice thing for the kitchen staff to hear, but it had to be done in this instance. I have, however noticed that the desserts seem to have improved, so good job. All in all, I would definately return to Morries when I am back in the Margaret River again!
My partner and I dined here the night before Australia Day and really enjoyed our experience. The moment we walked in ( at probably their busiest period) we were served with a big smile by one of the waiters. He seated us straight away and within 5 minutes were enjoying a beautiful bottle of of local Shiraz. They were more than happy to move us from the bar to a table when it became available and the tapas followed shortly after. The food was delicious, the ambience was lively and the service was fantastic. The prices perfectly match the food that was served.
A great night out and one we will remember for when we are back in Margaret River!
Called in for lunch after seeing the great reviews (4.7 Wow!!) they received here. We we're not disappointed. We had a lovely light lunch choosing three items from the tapas menu which we shared. The kids menu was well received by our boys. Service was very efficient and friendly. Can't wait to visit again soon.
Monday 4th January
As usual I hadn't booked and they managed to squeeze 4 of us actually eating at the bar some dishes do look small for the price, but they must have been filling as we all came away satisfied on the food/drink and cost scale! The barman on was getting pumped and his language was colourful but he really knew his stuff. I like the iceballs they serve too and all the food was delicious
Visited on a recent trip to Margaret River. The food was absolutely great, best meal of the entire holiday. Recommend the mushrooms! Service was good too.
Reading through the reviews our experience was the staff have been very helpful. Best food in Margaret River and excellent coffee. The Barramundi in particular was moist and not over cooked .
20/08/20: Must be the fourth time in 7 years that we’ve been to Morries, and it’s very pleasing that their passion for great food, drinks and service is still evident. A big shout out to our lovely host, Ally, for delightful service during our evening and to the chefs for knocking out delectable dish after dish. Highlights from our night out included the Fizzy Navel cocktails, croquettes, pork belly, tempura cauliflower, wagyu beef sliders and chocolate fondant dessert. Reliable and consistent as always.
What a fabulous wee discovery! The hostess gladly squeezed us in for an early dinner, on what was clearly a busy night ahead. We were offered seats on their delightfully comfortable couches and had attentive service from a number of young, energetic and knowledgeable wait staff. A modern, relaxed restaurant with a great tapas selection and each dish was beautifully presented. Between the 3 of us, we had Twice cooked japanese style chicken, kewpie mayo; Master stock pork belly, thai caramel, micro coriander; Duck confit, roast beets, pan fried chard, duck fat kipfler potatoes, celeriac puree, jus; blackboard special - Backstrap of lamb, roasted beets and green beans on chargrilled aubergine; a side of Roasted butternut pumpkin, almonds, danish feta and rocket salad, lemon dressing. Each dish was delectable and thankfully we were all happy to share our plates!
Looking forward to returning to Margaret River just so we can eat here again!
We really like this place. The coffee is excellent. Decor and ambience is lovely. We've had tapas there, coffees, wine but haven't yet had dinner.
Went here 3 times in 3 days while on holidays a few months ago. Food is great, as is the service. The Japanese style chicken and the master stock pork belly are seriously good, I ordered them every time. Only downside is I couldn't take this place back to Melbourne with me!!
Fantastic service, the food was absolutely amazing and came out really quick. We were 20 minutes late to our reservation and as a result our table was given to someone else. We phoned to say we were late, however the waiter forgot to make a note and we said this when we arrived. The waiter was really apologetic and gave my partner and I a free cocktail each. We were given a table when it became available and in the meantime offered outdoor seating.
The restaurant is very unique, with good music and atmosphere. We ordered the charcuterie which was every good flavour we like, and the three burgers that all tasted absolutely delicious, particularly the sauces. Would recommend to anyone passing through Margaret River.
Lovely service and great food. They were particularly busy when we first arrived but we were seated at the bar with drinks before our table was ready. Would definately come back and would recommended to others looking for a night out in Margaret river
We usually come here for breakfast when we visit Margaret River. Coffee is good, service is always lovely and the interior of this place is warm and inviting. Breakfast is a little less hectic if you get in early. I really enjoyed the fig and vanilla jam which came with my fruit toast.
This place usually gets booked out real fast on a weekend night so we've only managed to have dinner here once, but again was a good experience for us.
Went with an 8-people group.Well cooked scallops and wagyu beef, as well as he pork belly. After the entrance, all the main dishes are highly recommended especially steak and cheese potato, but duck breast was actually slight inferior. Over all the foods were awesome!
The problem is the waiting time. Roughly 40mins waiting until our dishes coming, which makes us a little bit depressed.
No better way to start your day!I had been looking forward to breakfast at Morries for weeks and was so excited when we finally got there I almost expected to be let down, but I definitely wasn't! We stopped in on a Wednesday morning to find the cafe was fairly busy. We were quickly seated by an enthusiastic waiter with menus and water. The lighting and set out of the cafe was beautifully presented with such a positive and vibrant lighting. I ordered their famous breaky burger and it certainly lived up to the expectations, as did the coffee. I really cannot fault Morries, they have certainly got it right from positive and enthusiastic staff, well lit and beautifully designed areas and certainly the most incredible food in Margaret River. I look forward to returning!
Morries Anytime looked so inviting as we drove past in the evening, that we booked in for dinner the following night. The place was fairly jumping when we arrived, but it was a Saturday night in Margaret River and as we know, this place is not so sleepy these days, even in the winter months. Morries serves a range of tapas, but also offers traditional main courses for those not partial to sharing. There is a wide range of wines from the region on offer, and we managed to sample a few during the course of the evening.
I don't like a lot of restaurants in Margaret but this one isn't too bad. Food is top end cafe style with some tapas options which never seem to do it for me.
Worth a visit but essential to book on a busy night. The two sittings is a bit annoying as there isn't a huge range of options to kick onto so it does tend to end the evening early or start it rather late.
Overall it's a worthwhile venue amongst limited choice.
A great place for breakfast. The hot choc was very small but good. They need to change the way they serve tea. My wife had a lemon grass and ginger tea - came as a tea bag sitting by the side of a mug of supposedly hot water, which you then dunk the teabag in. This is NOT a good way to make tea. However, my wife's Brekky Burger was excellent, as was my Yallingup Fruit Loaf toast with Butter and Fig Jam. Beautiful. I also had a flat white, which hit the spot. Free WiFi was good - it seems to be getting more common in cafés now. The music was a bit (a lot) too loud for 8 o'clock in the morning. That seems to be common as well, especially in Margaret River. However we enjoyed Morries and will try it for lunch or dinner next visit.
Absolute best!
I ate at Morries three times over my recent stay in Margaret river.
The staff were really down to earth, helpful and even remembered my whole table's coffee orders each day.
The ambiance is awesome I really loved the textured wall and lighting.
The food was so tasty - Highly recommend the breakfast burger. The smokey relish, aioli and melt in your mouth butter bun teamed with on-point bacon and eggs will leave you wanting more.
The coffee was excellent. Smooth every time never burnt and presented beautifully.
Definitely worth a visit (or three)!
Very good staff!. Best service I have ever had !! .The gnocchi tasted original.it was busy and relaxing at the same time. Comfortable seats. I wonder where they got them?.
Baby Munchkins,
I went here on a cold winter morning and was welcomed very warmly by the wait staff. The coffee was rich and smooth, and the vegetarian brekkie burger with haloumi and seasoned avocado was so delicious I wanted to order another. Awesome food and atmosphere :)
Our experience at Morries Anytime was quite mixed. The service was average, being quite slow with inattentive staff. The food was a little hit and miss. While the pork cheek dish was absolutely incredible (definitely recommend if you like Asian flavours!), the steak was below average. My biggest complaint is the small portion sizes. The meals were rather expensive, which wouldn't have been a problem if portions were more substantial, but I only received four small pieces of pork (and really wanted more because I loved it!), leaving us quite hungry after our meals. Keen to return to give the tapas a try, but probably won't return for mains.
Down for a weekend and headed to our fav gnarabar for dinner only to find it was closed for renos. Gutted, but the blackboard outside recommended morries. Gave it a go and was blown away. Great service, sensational food and nice laid back vibe. Not cheap but still good value, liked it so much came back next morning for a great brekkie. Get sum!
Really good food and coffee. We went for breakfast there, I had the muesli, my husband had the fruit salad. Both were perfect! We wanted to try the banana bread so we shared that at the end, the cinnamon butter is delish. Only neg would be the portion sizes, a teensy bit too small.
Read the reviews and gave it a go.. Yum! This place does the job in the food, the ambience, the whole box and dice. The staff are engaging, the place is a visual treat and the food is clean and fresh. A recommended treat when visiting the MR region, that is unless you live there.
Delicious breakfasts & great service!
Best Muffins. We called in for coffee and a muffin a few times during our week holiday in Margaret River. The coffee was always good. The muffins were the best we had. We also had breakfast one morning which was yummy. The food at this restaurant is very good and I can recommend.
We walked by Morries Anytime, which is conveniently located on Bussell Highway, and well…walked no further. We were at once attracted to the restaurants laid back vibe and trendy urban decor. (The vertical garden that hung at the entrance was the entry ticket for me!) The staff welcomed us at once ensuring that we were comfortably seated on the mismatch chairs and stools on the verandah of the restaurant. The service was exceptional in that we had water and menus brought to our table within minutes and then given sufficient time to browse the incredible selection of cocktails, wines, beers, ciders and liquors.
After ordering our drinks, the waiter talked us through the tapas menu, offering suggestions and recommendations as needed. Every item on the menu sounded divine and we knew that our selection would’t really matter, as we would not be disappointed. We opted for five t
Great looking place and even better coffee! Using Rubra coffee which was a first for me to try and I wasn't disappointed at all. Looking forward to checking out their food next time that's for sure looked good from the stuff I saw coming out of the kitchen. Will be back
Amazing food and atmosphere :). I could recommend this place enough. Beautiful tapas and really friendly staff! Would definitely head back next time we are in Margaret river.
Fantastic! We went for dinner on Boxing Day and bought thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Great food, service and atmosphere! Will be definitely returning.
Polenta breakfast. One of the best meals that we have ever had! This breakfast is in my top 5 dishes that I have ever eaten, being vegetarian the options are often very standard but Morries has given the flavours in this dish a lot of thought, the produce was fresh and the egg was perfect!
Good, friendly service, nice music, nice toilets and good coffee, can't ask for much more.
Thank you Morries!
