We recently had our baby shower AT Sunny's and it was the most magical day! Lon went out of his way to organise the rooftop for us even though we weren't sure how the weather would turn out for us but it was perfect! Above and beyond service. Ensured everything was to how I wanted. The food platters were delicious and incredible presentation. A wonderful afternoon and highly recommend if anyone is having an event or function.
We stopped at Sunny's for a drink and dinner after a long day. There was no wait for the table we could just grab one outside. It was cold though and they only had 1 heater at the back so we had to grab a table closer to the heater once someone moved. Would be nice if there was a heater for each 2 tables at least.
The food was good and they had # Gluten Free options in the starters and main course. The Chicken Satay was different but yummy 😋
It was a beautiful evening. 1st day of autumn. We were out walking. Then saw the vibe of Sunny's, Margate. Want to grab a glass of wine? Why not. Great music. Place was 75% full, and it's 6.30pm on a Tuesday. Wine was great. We sat up at the bar table overlooking the beach. A lovely evening.

Sunny’s has a brilliant intimate rooftop with bar and pool inclusive. It overlooks the esplanade and Moreton Bay. The bar menu is very reasonably priced and for example list Aix rose (a bottle was only $50 when we visited). We laid back in one the corner couches and enjoyed margueritas, music and our books. Sunsets are divine. We stopped here after visiting Bee Gees Way. Another lovely experience available in Margate/ Redcliffe.
I booked a breakfast for 25 people at Sunny's on Saturday and the service and food were outstanding. The staff were friendly and excellent in their service, and the food was brought to the table in record time. It was pretty amazing. We had a lovely time. Will definitely book for a large group again.
Mostly great, the rooftop bar is lovely if you get the opportunity to visit which I did for a networking event. The breakfast menu was fantastic with affordable prices however everyone in my family had amazing looking meals but my chai oats were dry and not at all creamy or representing the description which is the reason for the 4 stars. The coffee is not to my taste but my husband loves it.
i absolutely love coming to sunny’s! the staff are always so lovely and friendly, the food is delicious and the coffee always tastes good. not to forget that their cocktails always look and taste delicious too. great atmosphere for friends and family!
