I try to avoid chain coffee shops, especially places like Starbucks. However, whilst out shopping with my daughter she suggested we pop in here for a quick takeaway. We were quite lucky as we came earlier in the day, and the line was only four or five people deep. Later in the day, I saw people lined out the door. I think their iced coffee drinks are very popular, with all the fun flavours.
We ordered a coffee and passionfruit mango iced tea to take away. Surprisingly, the wait wasn't long at all; and we had our drinks within five minutes of ordering them, so I was quite impressed. The iced tea was nice and cold, but perhaps a bit too sweet for me, so fortunately it was my daughters drink. My coffee was OK. Nothing to rave about, but enough of a caffeine hit to get me through a busy day of shopping. Mostly I was impressed with the service as I didn't really anticipate that it would be as good as it was. For a busy shopping centre location, I thought it was a pretty good option for a cuppa, but I wouldn't line up out the door for it.
Best thing to happen to Highpoint. Nothing beats a Starbucks coffee after a big day of shopping. Cannot wait until the festive Christmas drinks are back!
I loved their cinnamon swirl! Perfectly warmed, soft and moist, it was a great companion for my gorgeous latte.
I was playing around with my latte, added a hint of vanilla and nutmeg powder provided on the service table and it turned out very well.
Service was good, very efficient and friendly staffs.
