Review Pum's Kitchen - Maroochydore

The food was a bit slow to come but was worth the wait. Best Thai I have eaten. Some of the patrons that were at the restaurant were telling me they go there often, and if I lived in the area, I would be doing same. If you are in Maroochydore don't miss out in tasting the best Thai in town.

Absolutely one of the best. Food was delicious. Going to try everything on the menu over the next couple of months service was fantastic. Been quite a few times now. Cannot fault the food. Owner is very nice and helpful. If you ask what the dish is like she will say try it. Trust me always delicious 100% and always fresh ingredients.

The worst dining experience we have ever had. Have just left the restaurant with our meals in takeaway because of the rudeness of staff. Everything started off fine with a very pleasant young waitress serving us. I ordered the pork belly and when it arrived noticed that the rice had egg in it. I don't eat egg (not allergic, simply do not eat egg). The menu also did not mention that that particular dish had egg in it. I asked our waitress if I could please exchange the egg rice for plain rice as I don't eat egg. No drama, simply expected an exchange of rice. The next minute the chef strides out of the kitchen and in a very loud voice berates me for not letting the restaurant know that I am allergic to egg. It was not only highly embarrassing to be scolded in front of patrons in such a tiny restaurant but it also upset me very much. We then asked the young waitress if we could please have our food in takeaway as we did not like being spoken to in the manner we had been by the chef. The waitress then developed an attitude and commenced with banging things and frowning and showing her displeasure. Yet we had not blamed her for anything nor shown any displeasure towards her at all. Not an experience we expected to have and will certainly not be returning to a place that treats patrons in such a manner. Food was nothing special once we finally got to eat it at home. .

My boss and I went here for lunch today and ordered the Thai beef salad. There was a photo of all the individual meals on the menu, including the salad that looked delicious. When it came out they didn’t include multiple ingredients that were in the photo (diced tomato, sliced radishes and alfalfa on top). It arrived with strictly large pieces of lettuce and some beef. I asked the waitress (potentially the owner) about it and she said it was only a photo shoot photo?? I told her that was false advertising and for $18.90 for lettuce and a few beef strips I wasn’t happy. She then, very aggressively snatched the bowl off our table and told us that any other restaurant would charge more for what we got. We sat there in shock questioning if we should eat the other plate we ordered… She walked back to our table and I began to explain to her that posting specific photos and getting something different is super deceiving! In front of the other customers she grabbed the other dish, and loudly told us to pay for our drink and leave!!! She told us numerous times loudly to get out. We HAPPILY left (with a bit of embarrassment). I’ve never seen anything like it. HOW UNPROFESSIONAL. The misleading photo aside, the way this staff member spoke to us, was disgusting. I’m still in shock.

Good food but the service is an embarrassment! Two young servers for the entire restaurant on a busy Saturday night. The owner was literally screaming at them to do things faster, even though the two girls were running from table to table and doing their best. My partner ordered a jack and coke and it was made by the owner and left sitting on the bar. The owner was screaming at the 2 servers, "jack and coke" "jack and coke" "who ordered jack and coke". We were seated next to the bar, so we were right in the firing line to witness all the screaming. I don't want people screaming at their staff when I'm eating dinner, and if I want dinner and a show, I'll go somewhere else. To the 2 lovely servers, quit and get a job where you're appreciated ladies. I won't be going back.

Food was so tasty and filling, we ordered a few dishes so we could have a taste of everything, we also had a lovely chat to the owner, she was so sweet and friendly, hopefully we will be back again soon for our next holiday ❤️

Delicious quality food and great service. My partner and I really enjoy going and eating here. Highly recommend.

Great food and services, The food is very authentic and delicious. My friend and I ordered Duck fried rice and pad Sew Ew. The portion is just right for girl. There are more ingredients than the noodles in the pad sew ew.

Pum's Kitchen Thai is the best on the Sunshine Coast 👏👍 always amazing and delicious. The Pad Thai is fantastic and the Garlic Chicken with rice is to die for ....... really authentic Thai. I would highly recommend them 😊 Thank you for your beautiful food 🥂 Keep up the good work !!!!!

Ordered pad thai and red curry fried rice (extra spicy) was hands down best thai food ive had... thankyou so much for food... perhaps its worth driving up 1.5 hours for dinner �

Quick, fresh, authentic!!! Thai meals !!!! great staff n easy to access position at big top shops Mdore. Makes shopping a complete pleasure. I'm the author n illustrator of giddy spike and the bubblegum catastrophe n I'll write pums food into one of my books one day. I wake up craving Pum's cooking there is nothing as tasty n quick on the coast. Thankyou to all the staff at Pum's for bringing a bit of authentic Thai to Australia. Alethia Coggan

This is by far the best Thai food I have ever had. Always so fresh and the flavours are just beautiful. All of the staff from Century 21 on Duporth have lunch from here at least a couple of times a week. Keep up the great work and awesome food. Love it!!

By far one of the best Thai Places on the coast. Real food, real service and real cheap! Definitely recommend Thai lovers to try these guys. You will not be disappointed.
