Review The Duporth Tavern - Maroochydore

For these prices I expect a level of competence… like receiving the food we ordered and paid for. We ordered 3 meal items online and received only 1 of the meal items. The steak we received ($40) was overcooked (ordered medium), dry, the sauce container looked destroyed and had therefore leaked throughout the box making the potatoes soggy. Hopefully others have a better experience than we had.

Called in for a beer and a flutter on the Keno. Friendly staff and easy going atmosphere. Best part was that we were able to sit in the front beer garden area with our fur baby. We will definitely be going back again, for a meal as well this time. Thank you for your hospitality.

Overall Good service, we were a table of 13.. had problem with 1 meal (pizza) coming much later than the rest so we had nearly finished eating by the time this meal arrived.. The Chicken was quite dry on the chicken burgers. Pepper sauce served with the steak was too hot to eat. Loved the actual venue and the staff were friendly.

Have to say it was very disappointing at lunch today, this is usually a ‘go to ‘ place for us, however, today there was a function upstairs, so we waited what seemed like forever for our meals, nothing was said while ordering, that there could be a delay, and then it was all cold, I really am not a fan of hot food, when it is cold. I fully understand that these are trying times, and getting staff can be difficult, but to say nothing, not giving you the option of going elsewhere as you have already ordered and paid, isn’t a good look, its as if your regular diners are expendable, just let them sit and wait and then bring out cold food. I will clarify and say, this is not the norm, however, I do not believe it is the correct way to serve your restaurant customers.

They have specials for every night of the week and they are all really great value. It's clean, quick to bring meals out and not too loud of an atmosphere. If you're looking for a cheap easy dinner, I highly recommend coming here!

Was kicked off our table by the manager that we were told was reserved for our friends birthday by 2 staff members. Was spoken to terribly by this manager. Absolutely unacceptable! It is a nice venue and has lots of potential to be great but with the terrible attitude and service from the overall staff members, it was hard to enjoy our time there. The food was also quite ordinary. They need to provide better services to their customers!

Food is terrible. I have no cheffing experience but I do a better job. How does this place stay afloat. They have so much potential, they just need to hire a decent chef & re do the menu

If you want to have a drink in a venue with no atmosphere, wait at the bar for longer than usual even though the place is not busy, then finall be served by staff that clearly hate their job, then this place is for you. My advice is go try some of the more inviting venues near by.

Thank you Duporth, cheap drinks on Ocean Street and flinders hockey outpost. Flinders Hockey 2020 pub of choice. Stone and wood high quality and also a great place for Melbourne cup flutter. Great service also from the bartenders, look forward to trying the food.

Perfect night for football and dinner. The ambience was perfect. Hubby was happy with his reef and beef. The prawn just cooked perfectly. The steak just melted in your mouth. Definate win when the man is happy to be out and about during state of origin night.

Just had a lovely lunch with the family. We all got lunch specials which were large portions and delicious. Only negative was it took s bit longer this it should of. Would def recommend and eat there again.

We had lunch, the staff were lovely.<br/>The food was ok but very small portions- Hardly any chips (see photo) and I was still really hungry after my meal but that's ok it just meant I had lots of room for dessert. Can't complain for a $15 lunch menu option. 😊

Awful. Sat down to order and before we got the chance to we we're asked to move to another table so they could seat a group of six. The table we were told to move to was the last available and was reserved so we had to leave. Don't bother coming here as they're happy to see customers walk out the door.

Don't hold a function at this place!!!. This place was once good for private functions years ago. The function room has now been halfed in size for TAB sports betting. It doesnt have a private bar or Toilets as currently advertised on there web page...Food is now equivalent to a microwave meal. Constantly has strangers walking through to access the betting and outside smoking area. Very rundown .....The facade looks great..but you only have to walk in the front entry and look at the ceiling water damage and attempted repairs to get an idea what the rest of the place is like. Shame

Ordered 4 steak tonight from a very disinterested older lady. She was rude to the gentleman in front when their card machine would not work. All steak were ordered rare and medium/well done. All were served well done to burnt (heavily charred). The monster rump was no monster. Very disappointing meal. Waste of $130. Wont go back.

Rissoles. These were just like my mum made, lots of flavour, mash potatoes and veges with yummy gravy

Nanna's Birthday. We had my Nannas 70th upstairs in the function room great service especially our bar tender Theo. All the platters were good but the stand out by far was the fantastic seafood platter, fresh oysters and delicious prawns. My Nanna loved it definitely will be back for more.

Not what i asked for. I asked for the special ,salmon , they sent out some other cheaper fish. i took it back and asked was this salmon, no was the reply we ran out. when i asked for my money back they looked at me as if i was being awkward!!. would never est here again--- try the noodel bar just a few doors down

We just shared a delicious meal. Service was quick and friendly. Food was reasonably priced and steak tender and well cooked.

Please take our money. Ten of us visited based on the advice from a local relative. Sunday is $3 steak night, and the steak was fine. Apparently you can have the option to add extras to the meal such as onion rings or larger salads as was our relative's experience the week before, so we all planned to spend a lot more. However when it came time to order we couldn't do it this week. It's a pity as we would have spent twice as much on mains, then extra on dessert, more drinks etc. Apart from us there was only four other people in the restaurant, so definitely their loss.

Took family of seven on a Friday night to celebrate a members birthday. Service was friendly and speedy. Meals were all great. And to top it off there was some great live music playing in the background.
