Review Crema Espresso Sunshine Plaza - Maroochydore

My husband & I went in for Eggs Benedict. Fantastic all day breakfast! The egg's were cooked perfectly and the hollandaise sauce was divine! The staff we're lovely and had our drinks out very quickly and the breakfast only 5 minutes later. I highly recommend this coffee shop! Fantastic work!

If I could rate no stars I would ! Asked for eggs benedict and soft eggs! The eggs where hard on mine and my sister and my friends plate food was cold, all terrible. Customer service was poor. I do not recommend to anyone, we paid for a good breakfast we could all enjoy but was very disappointed. They do make good coffee though, I’ll give them that.

I'm not one to do reviews, but I had to make an exception. I have never been so disappointed in a cafe before. I've been to crema in Brisbane multiple times and it's my favourite place to go. But here at Sunshine Plaza, it is the worst place to go. There were dirty dishes and rubbish everywhere for the world to see. Our drinks came out and they weren't cold, the cream on top had completely melted before the staff brought them out. The one ordered without cream, my son couldn't drink because it tasted like watered down cocoa! For the food, it was 40minutes before the first meal arrived and it was the wrong order, the waffles were cold and hard, 5 mins later the next meal came out and the nachos were sloppy and gross. Then after meal 1 and 2 had finished the open grills finally arrived, which had chocolate on the plate for some odd reason and the side of chips were cold. There was no salt on the table for seasoning. As someone who worked within customer service for over 10 years it was an epic disappointment and utterly unacceptable.

I arrived 45 minutes before closing, and felt like the staff were annoyed by my arrival as they were cleaning up. The chai latte and vanilla milkshake we ordered were so bad we threw them out. I normally would have gone back and very politely shared the drinks weren't great, but we were already halfway across the plaza. The combination of the poor drinks and service are the only reason I'm leaving this review.

I have never ever had a better coffee! All the staff are absolutely 5 star. Always happy and smiling. Management is through the roof and always make my coffee the best and the quickest! The manager Ben is an absolute champion and should be recognised more! Will always come here whenever I work! THE BEST!

Absolutely terrible! I got the eggs Benedict vegetarian with hash browns and bacon added. Everything was cold except the hash browns which tasted microwaved and soggy. Even the plate was cold as though my meal had been sitting there for an hour. The eggs were supposed to be soft Benedict not BOILED! which is how they came on my plate. My friends ordered similar meals and received similar quality meals. One of the meals came as something very different from what we ordered.

Almost more foam than coffee in the hot coffee. The Tim Tam frappe was enjoyable for 3/4 of the way - the rest was unbroken ice cubes. Edit from the original 4 stars: A lady served us on Saturday 4th of May, who was very slow and tried to charge us $19 instead of $14. Could have been a bit more apologetic, especially since we had to point it out. Perhaps more staff are needed too, since almost all the tables needed clearing and cleaning. Chai frappe was quite enjoyable.

I used to go to this coffee shop all the time when i was at Sunshine Plaza. I've been away for awhile in Sydney for work and came today and to my surprise this place has seriously gone down hill. It looks scruffy and dirty, and long waits. Not the staff's fault however. They're doing the best they can. They informed me that the franchisee Ben no longer owns it and now is owned by Head Office. The corporate muppet that now owns/runs it has understaffed this place dramatically for this time of year. Probably why Ben left, he couldn't stand dealing with people that didn't know how to actually run a cafe. This place was great when he was here. Such a shame that he's left. I'll be taking my business up to Jamacia Blue upstairs from now on.
