After seeing their amazing looking burgers on Instagram, I thought I'd go and try it out for myself. I wasn't disappointed one bit. The staff were friendly and welcoming, the burgers are to die for and well priced, the vibe and music topped it off. Would definitely recommend this place to others. Thanks Inferno!!!!

Absolutely awesome burger joint. The Boss Hog (beef, bacon and crumbed mozzarella) was delicious, and the onion rings and fries were both perfectly crunchy and well-seasoned. Shakes were also fantastic, will definitely be back. Special mention to the staff who were also great at dealing with some dietary requirements within our group and did so with huge smiles on their faces. Note the food and staff are pregnancy-friendly!

The King Patrick burger
(Review by The Site Rep)

The hype is what had drawn me to this place originally, everyone on site was talking about it. Although I'm no smoko shed/truck driver level eater I wanted to give something hefty a good go. Originally I had smashed down a Fatty Burger the last time I frequented Inferno however I needed to sample something of the chicken kind to completely make up my mind about this place. Needless to say, I recommended the Fatty to the F.U.Delegate.

To say the least, I am always disappointed by chicken burgers, they just don't cut the mustard or the 2x4" to be exact. But this thing...well this is on another level of the universe or the 96th floor of the scaffold. Simply put it's an aviary masterpiece. First, the bacon is mental. Let's get that straight. It's smoky, slightly sweet with a sticky bbq sauce kind of taste. Then the American cheese which just melts together with the bacon makes it resemble that first time you put too much paint on a wall and it just oozes down whilst your jaw is on the ground because you know the site foreman is going to roast you. The chicken..well it makes KFC look like someone took a dump in a flour tin and deep-fried it. This chicken tastes like uncle sam himself sprinkled herbs and spices on it in a bowl made from the apollo 11 spaceship. It has a hard crispy shell, the juice sits just below the shell and the chicken is light and juicy. None of this 1inch thick dry crust rubbish you get from the yummy truck or from the old bird at the tuck shop. The sauce has a slight kick to it and complements the burger nicely. Definitely recommend this one after a hard day however once finished it would be best to down tools and apply for disability benefits from Centrelink as you won't be able to move.

1 - Size: A Container Fork is required to lift this thing!!

2 - Quality: Superb!!

3 - Price: Pretty darn good for its size.

The Fatty Burger
(Review by F.U.Delegate)

First time visitor to this establishment, defiantly not the last! Was informed by my fellow Food Union representative that this place is a must-visit and did not disappoint !! My usual approach to choosing a burger is to find the Biggest, most expensive burger on the menu and go from there. Here, that was "The Fatty Burger"!

Every aspect of this burger was great, the bacon was on a whole other level. Double beef patties were cooked to perfection, Just like a tradie on a Friday afternoon.  Sauces excellent. Fresh Salsa worked perfectly for this burger. Onion rings !!!! Please, the only other rings better than this is when you get a call from the union saying were on strike !! The bun was good BUT it was the only slight fall to this burger as it crumbled under the pressure like a boss being investigated by the union for not supplying PPE !!

Ticks all three of my rating boxes,

1 - Size: Hefty !!

2 - Quality: Excellent !!

3 - Price: Good, given the quality and size.

Overall, as a Food union representative who has sworn an oath to give everyone a fair and just go, I give this burger a BIG F U (Food Union) approval !!

Inferno opened a delivery/takeaway place in Mascot so I checked them out. They use good juicy beef in the burgers, that would be a great thing and I'd put them in the top ranks of burgers if they didn't cook the hell out of it and charge so much. At $16 for a modest burger, I may as well go to Mary's.

🍔INFERNO GRILL - MAROUBRA🍟
Who doesn’t love a burger!!! Inferno Grill is known by locals for their delicious beef and chicken burgers! They also have grilled meats, chicken and wraps so there’s something for everyone 😄. I can’t have my burger without some onion rings and loaded fries and their version was one of the best I’ve had in a long time! The photos don’t do the burgers justice, if you’re around the area, check them out! They also have delivery by Deliveroo 😊

Featured:
🔥THE FATTY BURGER - Double beef, onion rings, fresh salsa, 4x aunt jamma glazed bacon, 4x American cheddar, special sauce and pickle on top. (Oh my gosh this one was amazing! The salsa at the bottom of the bun was my favorite part of the burger, bacon was sticky and sweet 😋, I need another bite!)
.
.
🔥LOADED FRIES - thick cut chips, topped with bacon, cheese sauce and spring onion. (That cheese sauce was superb, great addition when you order a burger!)
.
.
🔥DANNY BOY WAFFLE BURGER - Waffle patty with a piece of crispy chicken inside, maple glazed bacon, cheese. (I’ve seen different versions of this thinking it would be weird with sweet and savory in one but Inferno grill made it enjoyable! 😊)

⭐️DESSERT - Nutella mousse (Yumm chocolate!! 🍫), Oreo mousse (nice balance of sweetness!!) & Custard slider

Hearty food paired with decadent desserts, Inferno Grill & Café is a one stop shop for anyone and everyone. Fries, burgers and share platters were yum. Sweet Cheeks desserts are hot items and it’s easy to see why. Adorable presentation and punchy flavours, my favourite was the Oreo one. Bananarama Smoothie had that banana lolly flavour that may appeal to some but as a drink was a bit too sweet for me.

If you'd like to read more of my reviews, please check out my Zomato page and visit @cynthiaeats_ on Instagram for more photos!

My thanks to Inferno Grill & Café and Ompty Media for the invite.

Massive size burger and good combo deal. So many variety of burger to select from their menu and very generous portions. Staff is friendly and efficient. The crowd can be high during lunchtime yet they’re still fast in serving food.

Parking is convenient and easily accessible from all direction.

Make sure to order the onion rings. It’s one of the legit ones I had so far in Sydney.

After a good burger, grill or salad? Inferno Grill in Maroubra has it all! This café conveniently located in the centre of Maroubra close to the shops and the beach, there is something for everyone here whether you're after a cheat meal or something lean and healthy.

Firstly, there is an extensive range of burgers (both beef and chicken), I loved the inventive burger names! I had the double patty cheese burger with a side of 'liquid gold' cheese sauce and oh my, it really made the cheeseburger, a cheesy cheeseburger indeed (you can't ever have enough cheese, right?). The meat patty was perfect - cooked the way I like, slightly pink in the middle.

The Greek tasting platter was superb, and great value at $24 - it comes with a bit of everything including tender, juicy BBQ lamb skewers, greek salads, grilled halloumi cheese, Inferno's famous rosemary chips, pitta bread, tzatziki dip and the most amazing golden calamari rings (which were coated in panko crumbs, such a genius idea as it added an extra depth of crunch).

They also make their own home made ice cream, when you walk inside you can see all the tempting flavours on display. I had the chocolate peanut thickshake, it was basically like a liquid snickers bar, I love anything with peanuts!

Inferno make their own golden fried churros donuts, coated generously in cinnamon sugar. You've got to eat them when they are warm, they are so good!

And lastly, I had to try some of the homemade ice cream with some authentic Greek baklava. It was the perfect way to end my dining experience at Inferno.

I would definitely come back for a visit, I want to try one of the chicken burgers and selection of salads next time.

Thank you to the team at Inferno Grill for looking after me during my visit.

Note: I dined as a guest of Inferno Grill.

Inferno Grill is one of those local gems that ticks all the boxes for a delicious, wholesome and uncomplicated meal that perfectly combines quality and affordability. So much more than just a local chicken shop, this is comfort food at its best!

Thick cut chips, golden roasted chicken and beer-battered fish; Inferno Grill offers all the simple, nostalgic pleasures you might expect from a beachside chicken shop. Elevating Inferno a cut above the ordinary, however, is their exceptional quality, innovation, and of course, that mouthwatering burger menu, which certainly attracts diners from across Sydney.

I’ve been coming here for a few times, and always had a great experience.
This venue has an extensive menu that covers breakfast, lunch and dinner.
Even though they are popular for their burgers, I found the other dishes were delightful as well.
The onion rings were one of the best I’ve tried.
The Greek style nachos were generously portioned and I loved everything about it. I was afraid it was gonna be too cheesy but it’s not. So I could still enjoy the wonderful taste of the slow cooked and tender beef without the cheese overpowered the dish.
‘The Fatty Burger’ was tasty and every element was spot on. Highly recommend.
Their ice cream and baklava were great but I personally loved their Churros more. Loved the crisp!

Great burgers but the winner dish is the Greek nachos. Gets busy but customer service on point. Leave room for ice cream though as that also rocks! Price very reasonable for what you get. All round great experience

Awesome food especially their Burger and Dessert! <3 A great choice of you who craving for grilled meat, salads, burger and dessert. For me, I really love their "Fatty Burger" paired with Corona lemon beer. The tiramisu dessert is sooo good. Would love to come back!

Amazing place. Friendly and helpful staff, really fast and clean environment. We ordered loaded schnitzel and the sauces are delicious - big portion of fries and chicken for affordable price . You can tell that all the sauces are homemade. Yummy thickshakes and they also sell a couple of options of beers and wines. That’s a great place if you’re looking for real burgers.

It was an 8 degree Maroubra night, I most certainly didn't feel like a burger, until... I walked in to Inferno Grill, it felt cozy and right. I started with the entry level cheese burger and will certainly be back, because nothing beats a genuine flame grilled flavor. Plus I love that its local.

Ordered the Greek tasting plate, and a cheeky chicken burger, serving sizes were fantastic and prices are extremely fair, there was a little wait for our food but happy to pay 5.00 for beer while we wait The burger was delicious, classic soft bun with grilled chicken, couldn’t fault this bad boy!! The Greek tasting plate was pretty good, pita bread was really fresh, tzatziki was amazing!! The meat stick I though could be better but when it was all placed on the pita bread it was hard to fault
