Labld is one of the most underrated cafes in Sydney and by far one of my favourites. Located in an old corner store in marrickville this up and coming cafe is a cool new addition to the area with out of the box flavours and innovative seasonal dishes.
Exceptional coffee, fresh baked goods and across the board consistently delicious food.
We ordered the chia, shrooms on toast and the bluemnkohl. Overall ecstatic with how everything tasted and the staff were super friendly.
I’ve been here a few times now and will keep coming back for more!
Labld is a Asian fusion cafe in Marrackville that serves a range of unique breakfast and lunch dishes. I am always on the lookout for more places to try so decided to visit one weekend for brunch. We ordered some drinks to start, the Mango lassi with yoghurt, cardamom and pistachios and Monsoon shake with black sesame, banana, coconut, honey and almond milk. I loved the Indian influences of these drinks, they were quite rich and packed full of good ingredients.
LABLD is a cafe that’s housed in an old corner store, and stakes its claim as one of Marrickville’s top cafes by offering a focused menu of tasty, innovative, dishes.
Great food, excellent for a change for the usual cafe breakfast or lunch. The menu is always seasonal and the ingredients are always of high quality. Have been numerous times, best cafe food in the area. Delicious coffee.
Labld is the kind of cafe you wish existed on your street. It’s quiet and unassuming, but once you’re inside, lively with a great kitchen pumping out a menu filled with diverse options from your standard brekkie fare to more exotic options like dumplings and pancakes. Unfortunately for us, it’s located on the other side of Sydney, making us super jealous of the locals. But even so, it’s well worth the drive.
Went for lunch the other day. Best service I have ever experienced at a cafe - our waiter was so friendly!! We got the chicken and veggie momos which were both really yummy. Would love to try some of the other options on the menu next time. Only con is that the cafe is lacking in atmosphere.
Friendly service and delicious food. I had a matcha hot chocolate and the ruby rod (lamb with roasted pumpkin, spinach, sourdough and a fried egg). Thoroughly enjoyable meal and would be bac.
Finding a good coffee and brunch dish in Labld seems an easier task than pronouncing the word Labld. The cafe is the love child of two aspired individuals who care about fine hand-crafted food, premium coffee, and local artisian business. The menu encompasses seemingly familiar brunch dishes but with a Labld twist. For example, bacon is infused with wine and served with kimchi, fried eggs and mayo to complete the B.K.E ($13.50). Likewise, traditional pancakes are given a dose of pandas ($18), a widely popular flavouring in Indonesian as well as South East Asia.
momo ninja!!
A cafe outside of Sydney CBD, with a mixture of style of food this place will tickle anyones fantasty.
A must get is the Momo (Nepali dumplings) its one of the unique dishes with flavour.
The pandan hot cakes was surprisingly tasty and the burger has the sauce that is extremely addictive. A need to visit if you have not done so ...
until next time ... keep eating!!
Had a lovely visit morning for brunch & coffee with a friend! The wait staff were very helpful with our questions about the coffee & good, super lovely & attentive.
I ordered the birds nest, which was pretty satisfying. The eggs were nice & soft and the potato spaghetti, salty & crunchy. The only downside was that there was barely any avo smash, so little that I forgot it was supposed to be on the dish until I looked at the menu again. I’m assuming this could be due to the rise in prices for avos at the moment, but that was a little disappointing. Coffee was great & the barista took great care of our coffee needs!!
The overall vibe is very chilled & trendy design. Loved the atmosphere. We will be back to sample the rest of the menu :)
