Came here on a Monday for lunch. Had the Scotch Fillet Steak, it was yummy. It was nice to see some sauces and seasoning available on the side for self service. Place was on quiet during Mon lunch time which was great for a group work lunch as it meant reasonably quick cooking times. Will come back again.

Kids get to eat free here and the menu looks amazing with veggies and salad to go with the meals... If only that's what is served, instead you get dogfood with chips... What a joke.
The burger that came out was a bun, disgusting looking meat with mayonnaise and a massive side of chips. Compare that with the menu items in the photos below....
I was then offered a salad to compensate for the pathetic food that came out, and got what you can see in another attached photo.

simply awful Chicken Schnitzel served with some vile packet gravy.... good fries though.
But crikey this is meant to be a simple reliable bit of hotel fodder.
Staff are lovely.... but ugh....

A long forgotten after work classic. Even without Company ID the drinks are cheaper at every other place I’m Mascot. Platform 62 had such hospitable stuff who wanted to be a part of things not just see how loud the music could be turned up before 2 become 0. COVID hits everyone hard but you have 1,000s of thirsty workers on your doorstep everyday and today showed only two of us came before finding where everyone else was actually thankful to have us

Hi Biggles. You need to look at what your kitchen is serving and the price you put on. They are expensive and the meals are really disgusting small. I ordered the day special on Friday. And the chicken tikka is so small I thought it’s children meal. I brought my colleague for her lunch and we both were so disappointed. Unfortunately I can’t load a pic to show.

Chips have clearly been sitting around chicken schnitzel was decent but the deserts where very expensive $16 for a frozen cup pudding

It's a hotel in a decor and feel, with a decent menu and plenty of drinks at reasonable prices.

No fuss, just a bar tagged onto the hotel. Decent enough beers on offer, food menu looked pretty good and cheap. Nice staff, quick service.

Dropped by for lunch on Friday with my colleague. I had the special for the day which was fish and chips. I really enjoyed the chips which were crunchy! The portion was decent, it even came with salad.

Awesome environment. Lovely food and decent priced drinks. Service is great. However it can get rather loud while having a one to one conversation.

Dinner to night was a steak and salad. Not a lot to say regarding service as it was non existent. Room service was better and had at least a smile
