Best Cafe in the area. Friendly staff and coffee made perfectly every day. They do have Lactose free milk :)

We ordered the brekkie wrap and the banana bread and they were both lovely. Great value for money and fantastic service.

Handy for a morning commute in Mascot, Renegades has proven to be the cream of the crop when it comes to cafe options in the Mascot Station area. Delicious breakfasts - the breakfast wrap is the real deal and such good value - quick service, and bang-on espresso. I couldn't ask for more.

Great coffee. Great food. Breakfast meeting here with a customer, and there was plenty of space, and quiet enough for conversations. Quick and friendly service.

Best in Town for a cup of coffee and egg and bacon rolls. Havent tasted the burgers yet.

I’m not one to leave a bad review, and the staff were nice, but I had eggs Benedict and the hollandaise sauce was from a packet. They also started mopping floors around my legs with strong smelling bleach to the point where I had to leave. This was at around 11am.

Great soy flat white! For the first time it tastes good! Great, fast service and very nice people :)

Just popped in for lunch and ordered the pumpkin arancini with pickled veg to takeaway. All I can say is YUM!!! The food here has got so good recently... always new specials on the board and often with a greek/Mediterranean theme. These arancini are the best yet :) Keep it up Renegades! x

Food was inedible. I ordered a steak sandwich, I could only have three bites, it was soo chewy and disgusting. I had half of the bread and I told the staff I can't eat and asked for chicken burger instead. They wanted to charge full price for the steak and half price for chicken burger. RIDICULOUS!! I said I don't want the chicken burger and I had to pay the FULL PRICE for the steak sandwich. Manager was rude and told me to pay the full price as I had three bites. Don't go here. I left the place starving. I regret going here.

Words cannot describe how my daily visit to The Renegades prepares me for the day ahead... They actually make a good coffee which is also a bonus!

Coffee and chai cappuccinos here are in my opinion better than many of the coffee shops in the area. The omelettes are tasty and gigantic, well worth their price tag. The atmosphere isn't as attractive as Coffee Club across the street but The Renegades has a decent, comfortable atmosphere.

Really excellent hot chips & gravy, for those crummy days!<br/>Staff are all really nice, and food comes out very nice & quickly. <br/>Juices are nice too.

Best coffee in Mascot and I love their omelettes. Thick and full of delicious fillings! Great friendly service. Have also tried the chicken pesto salad for lunch and it was yummy. A bit salty but otherwise very good.

Walking from mascot to the city leaves me tired just thinking about it, so I started my day with a caffeine hit from The Renegades. Nice skim latte, smooth flavour, very cool branded cups.

As a new local to Mascot, This was a place I visited for lunch. <br/>The service was great, we were immediately seated and given menus. Our drinks came out first. One thing I will praise this cafe for is the honeydew melon tea; absolutely amazing tea!<br/>The coffee was average, definitely not as good as other places... The food<br/>Was also average. The chicken, avocado and cheese melt was under seasoned and buried in a mountain of beer battered chips, which in my opinion tasted fishy... <br/>The tuna sandwich was so-so... Was really dry in texture. This place is pretty average overall..

I've visited renegades now numerous times over the last six months and haven’t been all too impressed. The coffee is good on occasion, but unfortunately consistency is key. I've tried a few of their salads and chalkboard specials and these are no better than average. Given the development in the area I would love to see them lift their game a little, as it is a nice little space to sit in. Outside of this, staff are genuinely lovely people and it’s always a pleasure, just a shame about the food.

The service when I was first greeted was lovely. I got my juice very quickly however I could see the kitchen had my omelette ready and kept ringing the bell for the waitress to collect it but she was busy delivering coffees so that was a hiccup. I had the Spanish Omelette and Fresh Apple & Orange Juice. The omelette was substantial but could've done with some more seasoning.

Two words to say about this place. FOOD POISONING.<br/><br/>With the hype of this place it was a total disappointment, not only was the food and no name wine was over priced, three mains and a red wine bottle at $140, food presentation was none existent, running out of meal components at 730pm on a Saturday night, wait staff not knowing the components had run out at the ordering table, wait staff were rude and were more interested in having their dinner break than serving customers. <br/><br/>Will be making contacting NSW Food Authority tomorrow to investigate.

First time to have dinner in this place. When I walked in I was greet by a friendly staff. It's a nice place for a small group of people to hang out. Food portion was pretty generous. I ordered a $15 dinner special with 1 drink ( soft drink / wine /beer) included . Its value for money. Personally think it's a decent place in mascot . I don't mind going there for another dinner ..

A wine bar, you say, in Mascot? Truth be told, it’s not a suburb I usually visit unless it’s to blow this town, but somehow I found myself agreeing to check it out. Despite a name that summons a bikie dive, you’re actually looking for a slickly fitted out blonde-wood café/wine bar at the end of a row of restaurants, in an industrial/residential complex.

VERY FAST ALWAYS GREAT. The Renegades is my local cafe when I am in Mascot, which is every day. The crew here do a fantastic job considering how busy they are. They create a certain buzz with their always happy faces. They know everyone's coffee and they know everyone's name. I now have a Renegades Loyalty Card which is even better. The Coffee is always fast and good (Gabriel).<br/>I probably eat lunch at The Renegades three times a week. Their sandwiches are the best in the area. I love they Always have new and exciting offers in the daily specials. <br/>Thank you Renegades Team

Much improved since my last review, best coffee in Mascot, service much better. My original review for The Renegades last year was not very good, the service was so bad, the coffee was high quality but came out burnt, the owner had been sitting on the eating tables (which is unhygienic) and had her friends served first, half our order was forgotten.<br/><br/>But I went back this year and I was very very surprised at how much the place had changed. I heard the owners have changed since and I can say that the coffee, same brand, is now being made properly. I really enjoyed it. Service is prompt and the range of salads and to-go foods are interesting, and so far, I haven't disliked any of the things I have tried.<br/><br/>Definitely the best coffee in Mascot now. They also do a mean egg and bacon roll.<br/><br/>Kudos to the improvement, it's right up there

The Best!. I love the guys here! They absolutely make my day every time I have the opportunity to pop in. Having worked in the area for a few years it’s great to actually have a proper cafe with amazing coffee and food. Apart from all that though it’s the staff here that really make it for me - they have fun whilst maintaining a high level of service. Keep it up Renegades!

ORDINARY. My partner and I eat out every weekend. Always on the look-out for new and enjoyable places to choose from for a leasurely Brunch. . NOT impressed at all with this one. My partner ordered the Breakfast Bruschetta and got a mixture of the ingredients described for this one and the ingredients described for the Sauteed Button Mushrooms. No bacon, no cherrie tomatoes, while he enjoyed what he did eat, we were charged for the more expensive meal. I had the Salmon Stack which was tasty. Both meals were served on "bread", with 2 small packets of butter supplied to spread this with. I was expecting toast, and also not to have to "deconstruct" my meal to butter the toast. The coffee was lukewarm, and very weak. Service non existent, and very slow, only 6 other people in the cafe at the time. Music was too loud. All in all, an ordinary experience, not one to recommend.

CANNOT FAULT.. This place is now hands down my favourite cafe; the food, ambience, atmosphere and service is great and the coffee is excellent too. I'm proud to call myself a regular here (I work very close by). Everything they do is above and beyond the standard of the surrounding food places (the only worthy competitor is Subway hah) and in fact this place is so impressive for its location that it looks a little out of place! ;)<br/><br/>The only thing I would say is that while their service is usually impeccable, sometimes they can be known to be just the slightest bit dismissive. (And this is a little grammar-nazi of me, but they're known to make some occasional typos which might be considered a little unprofessional by some, but it's easily ignored when you consider that they excel at what they're supposed to)<br/><br/>All in all, I had to dig and nitpick to find things to complain about. So pleased that there's finally a decent place to dine at in an industrial suburb with few options!<br/><br/>(P.S. Try their affogato. I spied them pulling out their icecream from the freezer and they use Sara Lee. It's little things like that that I appreciate. Respect up!)

Finally, a good coffee in Mascot!. Great coffee, friendly staff and a solid menu makes The Renegades a welcome addition to Mascot. I regularly get my morning (or late morning, midday, afternoon) coffee here and am always welcomed by the constantly-smiling staff. The food is several steps above the other cafes in the area, with some great daily specials and awesome sandwiches (I recommend the pulled pork). Eating in is a great option, with a welcoming, comfortable and vibrant atmosphere, it's worth paying a little extra to spend a bit more time out of the office. <br/>I have it on good authority that they make great cocktails on Thursday and Friday evenings too, I'm looking forward to finding out for myself.
