Really enjoyed the Chinese BBQ here, and the boss was very friendly. Their siu yuk (roast pork belly) is the perfect balance of lean vs fat, with crispy crackling. They also said they only choose cuts without bones for their siu yuk (except a bit of cartilage on a few pieces). The soy sauce chicken was very meaty, tender and juicy. It has a slightly stronger "herbal" (bay leaf, star anise, etc.) flavour than the usual, I would say, but in a nice way. You can pre-order your BBQ meats too by phone (e.g. for Chinese New Year).
Ordered roast duck and pork on rice which was very tender and flavourful. Tasted better than I expected and good value with the lunch deals.
Love the Chinese food here. It always tastes the same, and the service is great. Our favourite things to order are the Honey King Prawns, Mapo Tofu with pork mince, Chicken with veggies, Fried rice and Beef in oyster sauce. Great food and affordable prices.
4.5 Stars. Excellent local Chinese restaurant. Food is always very good and prices are affordable. $10 lunch specials are incredible value for money. Service fantastic.

On a cold Saturday night, we were hungry and looking for somewhere cheap and cheerful. We head in the car to the local strip of shops at Mascot and settle for Mascot Fresh Kitchen. It's a no frills style place with all your Chinese favourites; Mongolian lamb, honey chicken, fried rice and spring rolls.
We share san Choy bao, braised chicken and vegetables, as well as an omelette. The food is in big servings and doused in sauce. Pretty much what you'd expect from Chinese restaurants - it's tasty and moreish. We finish it off in no time.
The food is cheap and service is fast. It came to our table almost as fast as we ordered it.
Love this place, one of the last of its generation of Chinese cuisine in the inner west/eastern suburbs.
Anyone born between 1990 and 2000 will understand why a restaurant like this needs to be preserved.
