A lovely big brekkie followed by lip smacking mocha. Beef burger definitely a must try for the tenderness in the pattice.
Smoothie bowl ($14) açai or chocolate (pictured is açai). Super filling, tasty and definitely picture-worthy. Pleasant atmosphere and staff, good seating arrangements for a small cafe, catering for individuals and groups. Excellent coffee.
Really impressed with The Food Barr. Service is pleasant and timing was perfect. Our breakfasts were fresh and there was plenty on the plate. This is our new favourite weekend eating spot in Mawson Lakes. Thank you and see you next time.

The food here is always fresh.. I especially love the Leanne Breakfast Special.. it's massive and soo tasty!! I love the atmosphere of the place and everyone working there is soo smiley and cheerful. The coffees are a hit too! It's a must try for breakfast or lunch when in Mawsons area! 😉
My wife and I went for breakfast here this morning.the staff were such friendly and beautiful people ,the daves big breakfast was so plentiful and tasted just like nonna would cook .strongly recommend!!!

Found this place today, love it! We were able to sit outside with our dog and the owners are super friendly. Small but great menu, good quality ingredients and cooked perfectly. Had hot cakes and big breakfast, both excellent. Large coffees are nice and smooth and actually in a large cup! Great value, will absolutely come here again.

We came to the Food Barr after the rather traumatic experience. The staff were really compassionate, did not care how I looked when I walked in (not dressed at all like their usual customers) and were friendly and empathetic. The coffee was ok, but the stand out was the Acai Bowl. The serving was HUGE. It took 2 of us to finish it. Fresh, creamy, ice cold, filled with flavour and toppings, it was the first Acai Bowl I'd ever had. I've since had 2 more from different locations and it still remains the best one I've had.

Staff are super friendly and are always welcoming! However, the food seems to be a tad dry and lacks flavour. Great coffee though!

Good service and nice LARGE coffee! Friendly service with a smile. They have large long tables for bigger groups. Egg and bacon roll went down a treat!
