Children’s meals were the size of the adults meals, quite impressed! Very tasty dinner, very responsive staff. We ate there as we could smell something delicious in the street and tracked it down to Millets! Also honoured our entertainment book voucher. Will eat here again!
First visit for me and the food was fantastic, desserts looked amazing but I didn't have enough room after the main. Staff were so friendly and genuine. I was also shocked at how cheap the bill was! Definitely my new favourite, I will be back!
Delicious food! I went there on a Friday night with my friends. They had a great range of menu options. Love love love their roast duck. It was crispy and juicy. The millets special was great and went well with the fried rice too. Staff was very attentive and polite.
Highly recommended and will definitely come back!
Friendly staff and good size meals. Love their Nasi Goreng and Steamed Dumplings are my favourite.

Loved the Nasi Goreng - usually Asian Restaurants make tasting like a version of fried rice which is disappointing but Millets make a much better dish than I’ve tasted elsewhere. Loved it! Very generous serving size too. The Pad Thai noodles was also delicious.
We have dinned at Millets a few times and majority of the time its good. Their lamb curry is great and their fried rice is really good too. There was one occasion where we ordered the soft shell crab and it taste like it has been sitting there all day and they just heated it up.. the batter was not crispy and the crab was not hot it was more warm and stale but apart from that one bad dish everything else is tasty. The service is average haven't ever had a bad experience but the staff definitely don't go out of their way. Overall 3.5/5!!
Love this place, fresh, good prices and great service even when getting take out or delivery. This is my go to in Mawson lakes everytime....

We ordered a bunch of mains and shared them between us along with entrees so we ended up trying a lot of dishes. Every single one of them was tasty and generously portioned. It's a slightly westernised Thai inspired menu which is great for those not overly adventurous. Unlike many other Asian restaurants that fill a lot of there dishes with loads of vegetables with traces of meat, millets dishes were very well balanced. Service was good... Food was good and well priced. Location is good, what's not to like. I'll be coming back again next time I'm in the area.
What a pleasant surprise! We walked past and thought we would give it a try and I am so glad we did! The sizzling satay beef and chicken rendang were both delish. Probably not traditional in any way but extremely tasty. Well priced, friendly staff and beautiful views over the lake :)
I love Millets at Mawson Lakes! The food is always fresh and yummy the service is 5 star and the place is very clean and modern. I really like the little outdoor afresco area too. Recommend the salt and pepper squid, basil chicken and salt and pepper flounder.
Millets combination noodles and Szechuan chicken noodles were ok, a little bland but lots of meat, seafood and veg. Had the combination laksa which was so fabulous that I forgot to take a photo before I ate it. Would definitely go back for the Laksa and perhaps try one of the sizzling plates instead.
Food was great, fresh & quick with friendly service. Very busy with Takeaway orders, quite in the restaurant recommend eating in.

A couple of friends and i went here just after the easing of the COVID-19 restrictions so we could support local businesses. We originally had made a booking at another nearby business, only to find that business had 'mistakenly given our booking to someone else', so we ended up randomly walking next door into Millets instead. It was definitely the best decision to have made too!
Although the employee was incredibly rushed, their customer service was fast, efficient and friendly. I was a little disappointed in the quantity of Coke in the jug we ordered, which came well below the 1L level indicator.
We ordered our entrees to arrive at the same time as our mains, and two of our mains were brought out very quickly, although well ahead of rice, entrees and the mains of other people with us.
The quality, quantity and flavour of the food was absolutely fantastic, with everyone agreeing that the quality and flavour far surpassed our expectations and most other similar food we've consumed in the past. The size of the dishes and the amount of food was very impressive too, with all of us not actually being able to finish our meals - we ended up requesting take-away containers for a considerable amount we couldn't eat!
The prices were a bit more than what i'd typically expect to pay for the type of food we received, but the quality and quantity (apart from the jug of Coke) pretty well justified the increase in cost, with pricing not being excessive, - just slightly more than normal.
Overall, the business is a fantastic surprise we enjoyed and will be returning to on a frequent basis in the future!
