We called in today had a nice ginger beer and good old fashioned chin wag .awesome staff / family . Took time to take us through the story's well worth the extra miles to get there.we will be back

Fulfilling a childhood dream by visiting walkabout pub was brilliant, I had my two little boys with me also so hopefully one day they can appreciate they've been to this gorgeous outback pub. Absolutely perfect, memorabilia on the walls of the movie being filmed. Worth the extra km's to see this with my own eyes. It's just like the movie and they serve cold beer!

My boy and myself got stuck in McKinlay with flooding back in 2015. The pub was the only place to hang out. Great staff and the guys coming through the doors were excellent value. Thanks for the bush hospitality and a great three days.
