Could be more Professional. I recently attended a cocktail style wedding reception here. The food was very good, particularly the very unusual duck spring rolls.
But it does need to be said that the service was not so much poor as erratic.
For a function where the cost per head was no doubt quite large the service was just bizarre!. My children kept referring to the 'child waiters'; which was cruel as only children can be.
But they did have a point in that the waiters were were clearly inexperienced.
If you have 120 guests then 120 guests need to get food not just the 40 who happen to be sitting near the kitchen; or the six people who happen to be on that side of table. You shouldn't be having to beg waiters for food (and there was plenty of it.)
There was a Paella...it being a wedding of some Spanish theme.....but although the pan was large (as it should be) where were the mussels with which it should have been covered....not sprinkled but COVERED. [I notice as I read through my previous reviews that Mussels are a recurrent theme!]
Food came out in a quite illogical fashion....the spectacular food (eg the lamb cutlets) and the desserts...came out after everyone had thought we were just getting nibbles.
The Chocolate fountain would have been enjoyed but came out too late....and indeed at one stage had to be dismantled. What the...?
It was "nice", could and should have been fantastic...but as it turned out it was ordinary

Very enjoyable lunch. Friendly, efficient service. Helpful waiting staff. Food was excellent - particularly the duck rillette and beef rib eye. Bread was disappointing - appeared to be stale.
