This place was one of those places where we did not anticipate it to be good.
Chicken Schnitzel was very good.
Pasta was also very Good.
Staff is very good and very helpful.
Outdoor seating is fun during winters.
Good place to chill and have a quick bite. The beer and burger are good here. Friendly staff and great atmosphere. Go here to chill from a hot summer day walk.
A nice sunny afternoon and lunch for one. Had a nice pancetta, haloumi and pecorino salad with chicken. Service was nice enough. Waiter was only in his second week so wasn't too familiar with the wine list initially but that's forgivable to a degree. Upon sitting down outside next to the window, was in full view of a staff member (presumably the owner) with all their accounts paperwork on a table sorting out the post. This should really be done out of customer view one because it's not very nice to look at but also for the security of their own information.
Food was quite nice and would order it again. Fairly well priced. Food and a glass of wine was $27.
Nothing really to fault. Staff could've been a bit more engaging but otherwise will quite happily return.
Beautiful cosy warm restaurant. The staff were very friendly and welcoming and best of all eager to accommodate my request for a change in the menu. The pasta and the creme brulee were just what I was looking for. Will definitely go back!
Good Cosey mellow atmosphere food was deliscious and portions large, really lovely little hostess as well very motherly
Three words: Fried Chicken Baguette. Thoroughly enjoy my lunches at Olivo and have done for the past 2 years. The only small drawback is the lack of an all day breakfast, which means I can't get the Red Eggs if I wake up late.
Went to this restaurant by chance when another booking went bad, & were very happy we found it. Service was friendly & efficient without being overbearing. Food was delicious & quite good value ($200 for 3 people including drinks). Highly recommended.
Absolutely fantastic! Excellent food, reasonable prices, Friendly service. As Americans we are very critical of the service and prices here in Oz. We'll be back. Nothing bad to say.
Delish, divine, flavorsome! The kitchen misplaced our order for breakfast and we (four) waited over thirty minutes before this was recognized. Being Sunday morning, we were in no hurry. The waiter offered us (four) a fresh baked orange muffin, coffee and newspaper, at no cost. Traditional, cost effective, very tasty. There is the option to eat in or out, that is perfect for any number of people. I highly encourage you to visit this restaurant, eat and enjoy as much as I did!
Casual but classy. My partner and I dined here on the weekend, recommended to us by a local who lived in the area. We didn't know what to expect and Olivio completely blew us away. From the street the restaurant looks like a cosy local restaurant, but the quality of the food was outstanding. We ordered the mixed entree platter for 2 and it was our favourite. You got to taste a bit of everything on the entree menu like natural oysters, arancini balls, salt and pepper calamari, garlic prawns and bread to dip in the sauce. For mains we ordered the smoked chicken and truffle risotto and the gnocchi with duck ragu. They were both delicious and were cooked to perfection. We had to finish with deserts and we ordered the creme brûlée and tiramisu and we couldn't have finished on a higher note! Highly recommend this place, not just because of the food but the service was fabulous considering it was a Saturday night.
