The experience was absolutely fantastic! The food was amazing and the staff were so lovely. I would recommend going to this place to anyone!
Fantastic food, great theatre and attentive, but not pushy, service. A reminder of the huge difference between the corner sushi takeaway and real Japanese cuisine. Everything from the teppanyaki seafood to the miso soup was terrific. Will definitely be back.

You should never go to any Teppanyaki without your wallet and this one is no exception. As frequent visitors to highly rated Teppanyaki restaurants in Sydney and the Gold Coast this one rates up there food wise. Once navigating the rather complicated menu choices, we had the Balmain Bug dinner, Sirloin Steak dinner and Chicken dinner. Rice, Miso soup and veg also accompany the meals which we shared and there was plenty of food for 3. The wait staff were very obliging as was the maitre’d. Two items of feedback I have to improve experience for us. Firstly, we are not used to so much butter and oil in Teppanyaki bbq as we look to it as a comparatively healthy eating option. Secondly, if our Teppanyaki chef is not skilled in the art of performing, we are at least used to a friendly smiling one. Unfortunately our chef was neither - almost bordering on rude. I found myself over thanking him to try to cheer him up as he barked out orders to us about where to put our plates etc. This is where I didn’t award the last star but I would go back again when next in Melbourne.
A wonderful intimate setting. Very quiet and traditional layout. Three of us enjoyed the seafood set menu. It was a very generous meal of a real mix of quality seafood, as well as vegetables and miso soup. Wonderful to watch the food being cooked right in front of you. We were nonetheless able to enjoy a night of lively conversation. A very good wine list from many Australian regions as well as overseas. We had Best Great Western Cabernet Sauvignon at $55. A fair price, given the quality. Highly recommend for a special meal for either a couple or larger group.

A very good restaurant. No time for deep impressions though. It was catch up time with old colleagues and the conversation was intense. We went for the seafood menu. It was excellent. Lovely scallops, excellent salmon. All superbly cooked right before our eyes.? I can’t recall a thing other than excellence. Good wine list as well with plenty of quality choice. Lovely surroundings here too and the service is warm and impressive. We had a terrific time and would happily return anytime.
The best Teppanyaki in Melbourne. Its tucked in on Collins Street. We always order the special dinner with sirloin 👌🏼 . Wine bottle list is also fairly priced.

Ive been here twice, both times ordered the wagyu sirloin with extra tuna, salmon, sushi and chicken on the side. All the food was amazing, we can't fault a single thing, ingredients as simple as fried garlic, crunchy prawn head, mushroom and spinach are all made to taste amazing especially when put together with the side sauces. Both times we had the same chef and he was fantastic entertainment, he's a bit shy so start the conversation and he will become the life of the party!!! all the staff were amazing, topping up sauces and drinks regularly, we never needed to wave anyone down for attention. we plan to come here many more times.
Really great ambiance and amazing food. Although being quite pricey, I found it to be worth the price for the luxury and class this restaurant serves. Definitely worth coming for a special occasion!
An very enjoyable place to have lunch. The services are very friendly and foods are delicious. You can see the process of food being made. The chef will adjust the speed according to you. The special lunch set is very healthy and plentiful.Recommend it if you like Japanese food!

More traditional teppanyaki experience. Chefs don't do tricks with food, there was no artistic performance which I would've liked but I should've done my research I guess- I assumed that was all teppanyakis.
Food was delicious.. especially with all the garlic chips oooft. Also our chef for the table was nice.
As a first timer at a teppanyaki joint, I had high expectations for a show but was happy enough for the food.
What an experience! Nestled in between some shops on Collins Street. The entire evening was very plush.
The food does not disappoint! Everything cooked to perfection and you won't have to eat for 3 days after!

The food were simple yet delicious, not too much seasoning or fancy take on it. Fancy and good quality ingredients. The chef and staffs are really sweet and catered to our needs perfectly. Would go again if you want a fine dining experience with extra entertainment that goes with it!
Teppanyaki is pricey but worth it. Staff were super friendly and looked after us. Note they don't do the food throwing, this is traditional teppanyaki.
I was really satisfied with this restaurant as it provides an exquisite Teppanyaki dining experience in the city. This place is huge, plenty of seats, friendly and pleasant staff, and one and foremost is the tasty food.
The wagyu beef was awesome, the seafood baybuck was amazing, and all came in a very very perfect portion. The mighty griled garlic? Definitley a legend.
Fantastic Japenese dinner with family at my favourite restaurant. Set menu only of which you can choose from a few. Price is on the high side but food, drinks and service are exceptional. Never disappoints, shall return
