Have ordered takeaway pizzas from Rosco a number of times - consistent quality and never disappoints! My favourite is one of the gourmet pizzas - the “Barefoot Investor”, generous portion size too. Was a satisfying meal indeed.
We moved recently to the area for a couple of years. We've been to the restaurant for a meal. Have been ordering my husband's take away pizza almost every Friday there. They are full of flavour and very generous there toppings. The salads are delicious and the Garlic and herb bread very tasty. Yes, sometimes they come out a little browner and crunchier, but we love a crunchy pizza. Consider it one of the best Pizza's we've tried. The staff serving and at the front desk are very attentive efficient.
Friendly staff and nice environment! We went there for a quick dinner and ordered chicken and mushroom fettuccine. It was delicious! We also ordered takeaway that day and they were very efficient!
The staff were polite and attentive. Its a nice atmosphere inside the restaurant .The vegetarian pizza was excellent. Definitely worth a try . I would recommend.
I have a good memory with this place and it’s because of the good food .. it was the first time in Melbourne and the first place I chose for breakfast was rosco’s.. I like this place , friendly staff and lot of food options for both breakfast , brunch .. lunch and dinner .. I love there omlet which is delicious with your choice of fillings .. I ate the free range omelette with mushroom, onion, capcisum and jack cheese and my partner tried eggs fair fax which was good .. I would recommend this place for a good food .. it’s on st.kilda road easily accessible ..
That's my only caution... the food and service here are just great. Great pumpkin ravioli and a really nice freshest greens salad ever. That salad would have normally been split between two of us, but it was worth finishing myself. And a 3-7pm happy hour. Again, super attentive service.
My beautiful tender land rack. Smells and taste amazing. The setting is cosy and the waiters were wonderful, attentive, neat, well groomed and polite. Furniture are in great condition.
It’s a very cute and cosy place to sit inside or outside. It’s built very colonial style and food there is good. I always order the marinara and vegetarian pizza. Served hot and fills tummy good. Staying in chevron apartments, this place is so convenient to order for take away.
Also the best part is they have happy hour from 3pm-7pm so the drinks are very reasonable.
We ordered the Rosco’s Angus Beef Burger, it was so good, filling and was even designed to look very appealing.
The staff were friendly, service was fast and ambience was good.
This is a great place to go for work lunches, meetings or interviews (basically a great professional sen-casual space).

Situated near many offices, this is a great place for those who work nearby and don't have enough time to grab a meal or to just simply dine in after work on a Friday night. When I walked in, the bar was right at the entrance and to the right is the large dining area with a good amount of tables, we were given the choice to be seated anywhere we wanted! How nice of them. The place had a nice atmosphere felt neat, clean and not too upscale with a candle on every table.
After sat down, immediately we were asked if we would like any drinks ordered first and then they'd come back later to ask for our meal orders. The floor staff were very nice and it felt genuine rather than put as a fake front, the waitress in particular was very friendly and was very patient with us when we were deciding what to order.
I ordered the Garlic Prawns and RazTaleb ordered the Beef Strip with Gnocchi instead of the fettucine as well as a bowl of chips asking for extra aioli sauce - her favourite sauce of course. It didn't take too long before it arrived and as I dug in the garlic pesto sauce was creamy indeedm it didn't taste too rich but was full of flavour, however it was a tad bit too salty in which wasn't too strong when eaten with the steamed rice and veggies. The prawns were cooked well, I couldn't complain. (Pictures are on my profile if you want to see).The hot chips were very average, nothing special and when it got cooler it went soggy really fast. Personally, I really like chips that are crunchier straigth after they come out, the less crunchy it is, the softer they get sooner, like eating mash potato that's greasy or 'sad looking' KFC fries. Personally, I think the price could be a bit lower, as I've had meals with similar kinds of ingredients for much cheaper that tasted quite flavoursome too.
TLDR; The place was nice, has a bar, situated near many offices, floor staff were very friendly and efficient. The food was pretty decent, flavoursome, my meal the garlic prawns was a tad bit too salty (the sauce) and the chips went soggy after an hour or so, price isn't very worth it as it was abit pricey but I guess you're paying for the service and nicer atmosphere. Would recommend if you're in the area and want to have a bit of a smart casual dining scene personally I wouldn't come back as there's other better places to try out and dine at.
Haven't had pizza in ages, ordered two gourmet pizzas off Uber Eats - BBQ Chicken and Meat Lovers. The quality of toppings used was top notch, pizza was crispy and not greasy at all. We are impressed!

We had a Marinara Pizza in this restaurant/ bar that had a very comfortable outside glazed in eating area.
The pizza filled with fresh seafood and the three of us enjoyed the sharing experience on the Large Pizza.
Friendly welcome and located on the corner of Commercial Rd & St Kilda Rd Prahran.
The Alfred Hospital is just up the road so here is a real alternative eating place if your visiting someone at the hospital.
If your a patient I would be tempted to order

I've been here and the St. Kilda location also. I've had the chicken risotto and pumpkin risotto, both, quite tasty. Service was lovely, attentive. Would recommend.
I had a chicken risotto for lunch yesterday. The taste is real good and the service is great, the location of this restaurant is close to everything, I enjoy the afternoon walk to Fawkner Park after lunch.
Fabulous Restaurant, food is consistently amazing and the service is wonderful. Happy hour on cocktails each day is welcomed after a hard day at work too! I highly recommend Roscos for an easy laid back alternative to cooking that is guaranteed to be enjoyable. The menu has something on it for everyone.
I come here quite a lot for work drinks. Good happy hour range and prices. They know how to cook a steak and make great pizzas! Friendly staff as well.
Went in as a big group. The service was great and the waiter was super nice and friendly. Love the risotto and the calamari salad. The portion size was massive. Pizza was ok. Overall, experience there was pleasant.

Went in for a late lunch. Ordered spaghetti Mariana and Apple crumble muffin, real good taste. And the staff is courteous and amicable. The specials board showed a variety of options, I will go back for more for sure.
Been to Cafe Rosco twice now and both times I was met with friendly customer service and good food. The pasta dishes I've ordered have both been very spicy.
Order Take Away, but..... Having arrived into the area late on a Sunday night, the local restaurant was closed, so I wonder down the street and find this lovely quaint little restaurant. I pop in, order the Beef Stir Fry (take away) only to be caught in the atmosphere and decide to eat-in. The best Stir Fry I had eaten in a long time. I was a repeat offender and will be in the furture.

A nice surprise!. The food is amazing and the portions are plentiful. Luckily we were all hungry and so we got through our meals ok. So nice, and the service was good too. Highly recommended!!
A lovely family owned restaurant, very welcoming. Just made it into happy hour which had $7 cocktails. My friend and shared nachos as an entree. Serving was big the both of us couldnt finish them! Pasta was delicious as was the gourment pizza. Waiter was also very lovely as he was able to change a few things on the pizza without any hassle.
My girlfriend and I went here for dinner tonight not knowing any of the local places to eat and were extremely impressed with the level of service and also very happy with the food
Word of advice tho get the pizza size below what you think you can eat haha it's very filling. Thank you to the staff for a great meal and pleasant service

Good value for money for a quick meal. This is the second of the Rosco's restaurants along St Kilda road and keeping to their well used formula. The restaurant itself is pleasant with a wall of framed windows with a vine hedge that gives an alfresco feeling. The seating is well spaced although the furniture is in need of some TLC to bring it up to scratch. Service is quick with no fuss, good. We ordered three gourmet pizzas and a chicken mango salad. All meals arrived together and all looked appetising. The small gourmet pizzas at $13 are good value for a quick meal on the go but there was simply too much cheese and I failed to see why they were gourmet when they resembled a fast food pizza with fast food topping varieties. An observation, having kitchen staff cut huge slabs of cheese in full view of diners promotes a cheapness that isn't warranted. Ultimately the food was good and more than enough for a quick meal at a really reasonable price.
I come from Perth and always stay at the Mantra across the road. Love this place. Food is amazing. I am a coeliac so GF is the go. A lot to choose from and quality too. Service is always good and the GF pizzas are spot on. Thoroughly recommend.
Consistently good service and food. The pastas and pizzas are yummy and great value for money. The small serve is enough to satisfy a medium appetite!

Great food, Great service.. Dropped in for a bite on our first night in Melbourne from SA. We started with a bruschetta. This came topped with loads of diced, flavoursome tomato, spanish onion , feta and finished with a wonderful balsamic vinegar. For mains, our 5 year old had squid, my wife the salmon and I went the surf and turf. My son is an expert with squid and quite a fussy (pain in the @#$!) eater. He devoured the rather generous serve without complaint. My wife's salmon was cooked to perfection, with a crispy skin and moist flesh. My surf and turf was superb. The eye fillet was cut well over an inch and a half thick, it was ordered rare and again, was cooked to perfection. The service staff are fantastic, extremely welcoming as well as knowledgable and engaging. We enjoyed this place that much , that we dined here 3 out of 5 nights and had take away pizza on one other night. The pizzas are generous, with great bases and freshly prepared toppings ( go the chicken pizza ). I highly recommend this place for good , honest food.
If I lived in Melbourne , this would be my "safe , go to" regular.
Love this dish!!! I have been dining at Rosco's for over a year on a regular basis and other than the fish and chips, everything that I have tried on their menu is delicious. I've had their pizza, their pastas, and their salads but my favorite so far is the Chicken Saltimbocca.
Too Notch venue offering sensational food and good service. Selection is extensive and will cater to the fussiest eater. Good specials, reasonable booze prices and takeaway available. Roscos at Chevron is very good overall.

Great experience.. Went to Roscos for the first time and it was impeccable, the service was attentive, all waiters were incredibly kind and knowledgable about the food. I had the primavera risotto, which was amazing, perfectly cooked. My boyfriend had the tortelini carbonara, which he also thought was delish! we had the bruschetta as entree and it was truly the best I've ever tasted. All, including a shared dessert, the prices were about $25 each, which was extremely reasonable. Highly recommend this place, I will definitely be back often!!
Rosco's@Chevron. This is a great family run restaurant, with yummy and reasonably priced food. Great variety. Nice and friendly staff. Fantatstic anytime - breakky, lunch and dinner! Visit every Sat for breakie and often during the week or on wkends!
