Have ordered takeaway pizzas from Rosco a number of times - consistent quality and never disappoints! My favourite is one of the gourmet pizzas - the “Barefoot Investor”, generous portion size too. Was a satisfying meal indeed.
We moved recently to the area for a couple of years. We've been to the restaurant for a meal. Have been ordering my husband's take away pizza almost every Friday there. They are full of flavour and very generous there toppings. The salads are delicious and the Garlic and herb bread very tasty. Yes, sometimes they come out a little browner and crunchier, but we love a crunchy pizza. Consider it one of the best Pizza's we've tried. The staff serving and at the front desk are very attentive efficient.
Friendly staff and nice environment! We went there for a quick dinner and ordered chicken and mushroom fettuccine. It was delicious! We also ordered takeaway that day and they were very efficient!
The staff were polite and attentive. Its a nice atmosphere inside the restaurant .The vegetarian pizza was excellent. Definitely worth a try . I would recommend.
I have a good memory with this place and it’s because of the good food .. it was the first time in Melbourne and the first place I chose for breakfast was rosco’s.. I like this place , friendly staff and lot of food options for both breakfast , brunch .. lunch and dinner .. I love there omlet which is delicious with your choice of fillings .. I ate the free range omelette with mushroom, onion, capcisum and jack cheese and my partner tried eggs fair fax which was good .. I would recommend this place for a good food .. it’s on st.kilda road easily accessible ..
That's my only caution... the food and service here are just great. Great pumpkin ravioli and a really nice freshest greens salad ever. That salad would have normally been split between two of us, but it was worth finishing myself. And a 3-7pm happy hour. Again, super attentive service.
My beautiful tender land rack. Smells and taste amazing. The setting is cosy and the waiters were wonderful, attentive, neat, well groomed and polite. Furniture are in great condition.
It’s a very cute and cosy place to sit inside or outside. It’s built very colonial style and food there is good. I always order the marinara and vegetarian pizza. Served hot and fills tummy good. Staying in chevron apartments, this place is so convenient to order for take away.
Also the best part is they have happy hour from 3pm-7pm so the drinks are very reasonable.
We ordered the Rosco’s Angus Beef Burger, it was so good, filling and was even designed to look very appealing.
The staff were friendly, service was fast and ambience was good.
This is a great place to go for work lunches, meetings or interviews (basically a great professional sen-casual space).

Situated near many offices, this is a great place for those who work nearby and don't have enough time to grab a meal or to just simply dine in after work on a Friday night. When I walked in, the bar was right at the entrance and to the right is the large dining area with a good amount of tables, we were given the choice to be seated anywhere we wanted! How nice of them. The place had a nice atmosphere felt neat, clean and not too upscale with a candle on every table.
After sat down, immediately we were asked if we would like any drinks ordered first and then they'd come back later to ask for our meal orders. The floor staff were very nice and it felt genuine rather than put as a fake front, the waitress in particular was very friendly and was very patient with us when we were deciding what to order.
I ordered the Garlic Prawns and RazTaleb ordered the Beef Strip with Gnocchi instead of the fettucine as well as a bowl of chips asking for extra aioli sauce - her favourite sauce of course. It didn't take too long before it arrived and as I dug in the garlic pesto sauce was creamy indeedm it didn't taste too rich but was full of flavour, however it was a tad bit too salty in which wasn't too strong when eaten with the steamed rice and veggies. The prawns were cooked well, I couldn't complain. (Pictures are on my profile if you want to see).The hot chips were very average, nothing special and when it got cooler it went soggy really fast. Personally, I really like chips that are crunchier straigth after they come out, the less crunchy it is, the softer they get sooner, like eating mash potato that's greasy or 'sad looking' KFC fries. Personally, I think the price could be a bit lower, as I've had meals with similar kinds of ingredients for much cheaper that tasted quite flavoursome too.
TLDR; The place was nice, has a bar, situated near many offices, floor staff were very friendly and efficient. The food was pretty decent, flavoursome, my meal the garlic prawns was a tad bit too salty (the sauce) and the chips went soggy after an hour or so, price isn't very worth it as it was abit pricey but I guess you're paying for the service and nicer atmosphere. Would recommend if you're in the area and want to have a bit of a smart casual dining scene personally I wouldn't come back as there's other better places to try out and dine at.
