As a interstate visitor, we walked in and was seated, menu's and a thermos of delicious tea delivered.... we ordered ourselves with a simple ordering system... write the number of your choice and amount in the boxes.. hand to waitress ..... all efficiently executed... food was Amazing, a huge serving extreme value for money, all delivered surprisingly prompt ....
We we're that impressed we returned the following day for lunch
This amazing place is one of our local favorites in the city. We have eaten here a hundred times and the standard is great. The food is really yummy, staff super friendly and has a great atmosphere. Always an enjoyable evening at one of my favorite places to eat.
Only had a snack there so can't comment much on the food except to say it was nice, but the Hanoi spring rolls did not come with wrapping lettuce only some small loose pieces. When busy you need to share tables with other patrons. Reasonably priced menu.

Lovely experience with the rice paper roll, phó and vermicelli here😍😍😍my Vietnamese friend took me here after 5 years nagging for phó! The soup is gourmet, the rice paper roll is very fresh, and the ambience is subtle but doesn't lose its classy. Will come back again soon!
Tried their crispy chicken noodle and soft shell crab noodle with gravy. Both are delicious. Chicken is cooked to perfection, crispy skin with moist meat underneath. The soft shell crab noodle is tasty and comforting. Recommended.
Being Vietnamese myself I crave Vietnamese food all the time and always finding myself needing a fix. This Vietnamese restaurant on Swanston street is not home cooking but is pretty close without it being too diluted. We had the Bun Bo Hue which is the Vietnamese Beef Spicy Soup (lemongrass and chilli) and Bun Rieu noodle soup ( crab and tomato) - definitely hit the spot on a cold winters day
Had the bbq chicken noodle salad with avocado smoothie.
It tasted good. But I was a bit shocked for the vermicelli noodle were hot. I can understand the chicken is hot. However, don’t know why the vermicelli in noodle salad is quite hot also. I m not so sure is the vermicelli supposed to be cold???
But still tasted okay. Big portion with fair price.
Also the avocado smoothie is so nice as well.
Definitely will come back to try other dishes. :)
I ordered from Easi delivery, i eat dry noodle with crispy chicken. For $15 is worth it, noodle portion is big and the chicken was good. Highly recommended.
Been a fan of this place for years and quality is always there. My fave is definitely their pork noodle soup and the crispy chicken with dry noodle. They also serve the noodle with generous amount of stirfried vegetables which is rare to find. Highly recommended to visit!
We come here very often for the food food they served. This special pork chop rice was amazingly good! They also do good crab pork ball soup (tomato soup base).
One of my Vietnamese restaurant to go in CBD. Food is really good and very generous portion. I love their crab pork meatballs in tomato soup. Rice paper rolls are filled with abundance of fresh veggies that give you very clean taste in every bites.
Will I be back? Surely!
It was a very nice Vietnamese restaurant in the heart of Melbourne. The taste is nice enough to be called Vietnamese foods. I came here for so many times that I can’t even count. I usually order spicy beef noodle soup or the soft-shell craft noodle soup. The craft noodle is super kool regarding fresh noodle itself and the tasty soup and the crispy craft. Eventhough I was quite full but still tried hard to finish the whole bowl and don’t wanna waste it. I will definitely come back there again.
In the fast-food restaurant, there are a few varieties of French bread that can be selected. A Vietnamese-style fast food restaurant with Chinese menus, as well as rice rolls. River powder, fried rice, etc., the price is middle and lower. The beef broth soup powder selected at the bottom is full of beef flavor and the ingredients are fresh and delicious.
Awesome Pho and rice paper rolls.
We were looking to have some dinner late at night around 10 and weren't expecting much, as most of the places close by 10pm.
This place was open, decided to go here and was pleasantly surprised with good food.
Will definitely recommend this place.
The food is great here. The special all mix Pho is favourite. Chicken with broken rice is good too, add some spring rolls with it for a complete meal. Staff are friendly but service speed can vary from time to time.
Been here a few times and never been disappointed.
If there is a lot of people in the store, don't worry because service is lightning quick and you will get your meal as though you are the only one in the restaurant.
I enjoy the modern take on the decor and setting. The ingredients come across as fresh. It's a hard choice between here and it's neighbour.
I would say the Pho broth here is a tiny bit sweeter than what I'm used to, but that might just be me.
Price is definitely on point.
CASUAL VIETNAMESE ON SWANSTON STREET
Very fast service. Offers a good range of vietnamese rice, pho, noodle and ricepaper rolls.
Long share tables but not too squashy. You are presented with a menu and an order sheet and mark off the items you want to order.
Chinese tea provided free in those familiar thermos flasks on the table.
Two of us ate there for a Saturday lunch. Three rice paper rolls (quite fresh and tasty), chicken salad (grilled chicken with a huge serve of salad), fish on rice (not bad), green miny ice drink (very very minty but refreshing). All up, just under $43.
Lots of seating - some single tables but mostly long shared tables.
Wheelchair accessible if you can grab one of the single tables.
Cash and credit cards accepted. Some vegetarian options.
A delicious and not expensive meal for lunch. I totally recommend this place !!
Clean and yummy !! The beef bo bun was extraordinary!! ☺️ I will definitely come back soon !
They also serve free tea 🍵
