Absolutely fabulous dishes!!!!The best Thai food in Melbourne. i will definitely order again.
Absolutely delicious food and you get to customise almost all the recipes to vegetarian/vegan if needed! Went in pretty late at night (pre-corona days) with a couple of friends and the chef cooked us all up a feast!! Loved absolutely everything we tried!!
Nine elephants fried rice - must get!!! Pad Thai really tasty and authentic too!!! Will be back for sure!! It gets super packed and I get why!
Came here for lunch the other day. Service was good and food came out relatively quick. I ordered the crispy pork belly and was pretty delicious.
Foods are very nice. Been there many times. Just hard to get a table. Tom yum soup is not great. Tastes weird and some dishes can be super spicy or salty.
Besides the venue not being my favourite, I was pleasantly surprised with the small restaurant. Loved the food and quick service.
Small, slightly fancy Thai restaurant. Had the cripsy pork salad and red duck curry. Both were quite good. Very thoughtful and friendly service. Would definitely be back to try more dishes when I'm in the area.
Came here after work. Place is quite cosy. I ordered the Pad Thai and really enjoyed it. It was different to most Thai restaurants as it had a slight kick to it which I loved! Will definitely be back
A restraunt full of yummy thai delicacies ever...I have tried the Chicken Fried rice here which was really made very good blended with sprouts and spices...I can rate 5 out of 5 for the taste of the food...its a crowded place but worth a try!!!
Nice place but not possible to do a walkin for lunch, need to book and the place is small with few tables. Food is really good would surely visit again.
Its been a few years since we last dined at this Thai Restaurant.
They have move a few shopfronts down the road from when I last visited.
The food is always extremely tastey.
I had the lunch time special of chicken stir fry noodles which was delicious. I had some takeaway prawn fried rice and satay chicken which was also very good.
This place is already busy so best to book as its not a large venue.
During non-peak hours, Nine Elephants offers diners an exquisite experience in Thai-styled dishes in a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere.
The waitress who served us had a fantastic memory of the dishes ordered without having to jot anything down (we ordered about 5 or 6 dishes in total, 3 of them customised to a meat of our choice).
Food was served promptly and to order.
The Thai iced milk tea served here could be said to be better tasting than similar restaurants within the vicinity.
To incentivise customers paying in cash, a 10% discount off the final bill rounds off a pleasant evening dinner with friends.
I went here for my birthday dinner with 5 friends, the food was lovely and really reasonablly priced.
The staff was really nice and served us quickly.
Loved the vibe of the place.
I will definitely go there again
Great service and lovely food. Entree were lovely and not really that hot, main was delicious however I had to order it with no chilli as I am not a fan of overly hot food.
Dessert was absolutely delicious. Staff were very friendly and helpful answering any questions we had and was able to deliver food within reasonable time from ordering.. The Ice Coffee is deliciously strong and sweet.
Would definitely recommend and also go back.
Satay Chicken wrapped in Roti with peanut sauce.
Drunken Chicken.
Staff were very accomodating from the moment we walked in the door, seated quickly with noise levels to a minimum. NE have a vast variety of menu options, and clearly indicate which dishes are spicy and those without.
I recommend the Nine Signature Spaghetti ☝️
Dined in for dinner on monday, its quite and calm. Good ambience and a decent list of drinks menu.
In terms of customer service and food quality they have lots of room to improve.
I lovved nine elephants signature spaghetti. It was fresh, vegetables were crunchy. Usually Thai dishes will be lite sweet, but this one was exception.
All other dishes were good too, except chive dumplings. It was very oily and it wasn’t like usual dumplings, it was deep fried.
You get Singha beer jugs.
Definitely will come back 👍
Great food, although i noticed the fried rice portioned has decreased quite abit since I first visited a couple of years ago.
As many has commented, there's spicy and there Thai level's spicy. So be careful what you asked for ;)
Lunch time is extremely busy and if you dont have a booking, good luck. Dinner is much quieter.
Edit: they are no longer serve really spicy food which is very disappointing. If you want a dish to be spicy, they provide chilli on the side. My suspicion is someone has complained about the food here being too spicy. If that's correct, that person shouldn't be eating Thai food. I mean what's next, non spicy Sichuan food?
