Great fine dining experience. We skipped the entrees because I wanted to save room for dessert. It was a good decision.

For mains we had the veal cutlet and the slow roasted lamb shoulder accompanied with french fries and broccolini. The meals and the sides were of generous proportions. The meats were tender, the french fries were crunchy and the broccolini tasty.

However, the desserts were the highlight of the dinner. We ordered the raspberry souffle and the baked Alaska. Both desserts are not commonly found on restaurant menus. They were both perfect and not overly sweet. The souffle was accompanied with icecream (although the icecream serving should have been larger) and the baked Alaska was served with a strawberry sauce.
Would consider going back just for the desserts.

Service is also very good.

The restaurant has an open kitchen and a also has a large bar.

Would recommend Pascale Bar and Grill.

This was a fantastic dining experience. The staff are diligent, vigilant and friendly. Great atmosphere and the food was absolutely phenomenal. Highly recommend the beef tartare.

Theh have a great selection of alcohol and wine so would recommend choosing a bottle to enjoy throughout the night.

Have to give it 5 stars because the manager guy literally went out of his way to help us. Ordered the pork belly for entree, john dory for main and the a dessert. My pork belly entree was sooo nice I would have it all over again!! John dory was creamy but might be a little bit over. My dessert was absolutely divine as well! Really great experience there. My pisco sour was really nice as well with little hearts on it lol Will definitely be back!! Loved it!!

A friend invited us to Pascale Bar and Grill for a nice dinner and drinks. We absolutely loved the decor of this fantastic hotel ( including the restroom) and the wall besides the stairway to the restaurant was made of books....Must say tastefully done.

After we were seated on our respective chairs, the extremely warm hostess hands us a very extensive drink menu and we all unanimously chose go for Gin (Different types) Tonic and Ice.

For Entre we chose BBQ Octopus and Butter Clams

The attendant served us the complimentary bread basket followed by our Entres.

Both the entres were the dishes of the day. Perfectlly cooked, flavored and presented. The BBQ Octopus was charred to a perfection and served with onion that were crunchy. The clams tossed in butter garlic sauce was simple and beautiful.

For the mains we ordered Spiced Lamb Shoulder and Wood Fire John Dory

Both the meats were beautifully cooked with a sauce that tasted good. But our expectations were quite high after the mains, and that could be the reason why we were not entirely smitten by it.

Attendants and Host were quite warm and we're quite careful with the service. Prices seem decent for the kind of food you.are served. Ambience is basic but beautiful.

Vegans and Vegetarians could not have too many options but, usually, dinning areas such as these cater to the custome's taste.

Definitely recommend.

Always a little skeptical of hotel restaurants, but Pascale certainly delivered. We started with the butter clams which was a small serving but with lashings of butter. One observation was that the clams weren’t piping hot and had perhaps been sitting there a couple of minutes before being served (there were only five other occupied tables at this point). Anyways, we came for the steak and the eye fillet was cooked to perfection. Best steak I’ve had in a while. The borderlaise sauce to the side was far too little. My girlfriend had the bearnaise sauce with her steak and received much more sauce than me. I love sauce. I can never have enough! The char grilled vegetables were delicious and I got my vitamins with the brussel sprouts. The French fries were a little underwhelming and for $10 it’s a tiny serving, whereas the veggies were a huge serving for $12. Dessert was the sticky date pudding which finished off the meal nicely. Pascale is a trendy eatery in a boutique hotel and the layout and appearance reminded me of a funky hotel restaurant in Hong Kong or Bangkok. Our waiter from Mongolia was also a bit of a legend. Some banter and charm goes a long way to adding to the dining experience. Great meal! 👍🏼

Had the sher wagyu steak with a beautiful red wine sauce, and it was just divine 👌🤤 they also have a wattle seed ice cream and cake dessert that is also pretty amazing. The service was polite and very attentive. I had a really wonderful evening 😁

This is the second time I’ve been to Pascale and it continues to impress, from the super hip interior (of QT Melbourne) to the lovely and attentive staff, and of course the food! Every dish from entree to dessert was beautifully crafted and presented, but special shout out goes to the David Blackmore Tri Tip steak ($55) which was insanely tender and flavoursome. Apparently they’re the only restaurant in Melb to use this particular cut of wagyu, so if you’re a steak enthusiast I think it’s worth checking them out for this alone!

Other dishes we ordered were:

Favourites include the beef tartare, mushrooms on toast, bbq octopus and opera cake.

Definitely recommend for a special occasion and the menu is super gluten free friendly as well, with everything we ordered except the desserts and mushrooms being GF! Last time I came with my partner and they even accommodated him with his own specially cooked GF bread which was such a lovely touch. We will definitely be back!

Came here on the Fork Festival deal - excellent Service and absolutely beautiful restaraunt in the QT hotel
The open kitchen Gives a very luxe chic vibe & the staff are professional and make you feel special
The half roast chicken is a MUST. The jus is fantastic and the artichokes & mushrooms served with it is to die for
Veal is a great option too.
Desserts are beautiful looking and generous sized .

We always go there on a 40% discount as we book through the Fork and must say it is one of the best values out there on the app.
The restaurant itself is very nice, its spacious, the staff is very polite and attentive, I've pretty much tried the whole menu and the standouts for me were the sher wagyu porterhouse, the wallaby tartare and the oysters. the porterhouse after discount comes out at around $30 and has to be one of the cheapest wagyu steaks out there, the restaurant is fine-dine so for me its great for occasions,when I have guests over or simply when I feel like a cheeky wagyu on a Tuesday, I just hope they keep changing the menu more frequently as that will only make me want to visit more often.

Craving desserts with no booking on a Saturday night is tough. Luckily Pascale Bar & Grille at @qtmelbourne were able to accommodate and it didn’t disappoint. Lovely service, delicious cocktails and these amazing two desserts: apple crumble soufflé and a rich toffee sticky date!

Beautiful restaurant and great ambience. Everything was super delicious and flavoursome. Would definitely recomment the pumpkin risotto. You cant go wrong with the beef tartar and butter clams!

Great experience. From bar staff to waiter and waitress and food and drinks! Food was delish, with lots of flavour. We all were happy with what we ordered. And I'll include feedback and comments from my friends who ordered the dishes:

Cured kingfish - fresh and punchy flavours
Sydney rock oysters - super fresh and the vinegarraite just opens your appetite
Kurobuta pork belly - yummo and tasty
Steamed Murray cod - beautifully cooked, silky smooth flesh that melts in your mouth
Porterhouse - cooked perfectly and very tender
Chocolate and hazelnut opera cake - one word: amazing!
Blackcurrant pavlova - well balanced flavours

We have stayed in the QT Hotel in Melbourne which is home to this restaurant.
The breakfast locations in the city can be very few and far between.
Especially on the weekend when many places either have gigantic queues or
are simply closed.
Here you can find a scrumptious breakfast with reasonable coffee.
I would say the coffee could be improved greatly if they had the will to employ a good machine & barista.
However as this location is a secret to many unless staying in the hotel .... the urgency doesn’t seem to exist to create excellent coffees.
The food is quality and nicely served.
Welcoming staff on the days we visited ensuring an overall pleasant experience.
No need to queue here but don’t forget it exists as it is comfortable/ relaxing and quiet.

I had my birthday dinner at Pascale Bar & Grill.
The atmosphere is relaxed and tidy.
The staff made sure we were comfortable, and were very friendly.
They suggested a nice citrusy refreshing drink for me.
We had oysters to share as starters which were deliciously soft and buttery.
The mains left us licking the plates clean; we had a dory fish and steak with a side of fries.
We had a complementary small chocolate truffle dessert as a birthday treat which was nice. My friends made a special request to have "Happy Birthday, Fatty" written on the dessert if we ordered one. We didn't end up ordering one, but the chocolates provided by Pascale was lovely!!

Great place excellent service and delicious food must come try the Wagyu porterhouse steak and truffles. The steak is aged well and cooked to perfection with lots of flavour each bite. Definitely be back when I’m craving for some good steaks.

Had date night at Pascale. All dishes were beautifully presented. Dishes we had were kingfish, quail, marron, suckling pig and soufflé. My favourite dish was the marron but the portion size was small. The restaurant was classy and not too busy.

Date night at Pascale could not have been more perfect.

The service was impeccable from start to finish, I did not encounter one person whom delivered customer service that fell even a tiny bit short of excellent. Huge thank you to our waitress who recommended us the wagyu porterhouse that was deliciously fatty and cooked to perfection, and to our waiter who catered to my wine virginity by allowing me to try assorted wines before i chose.

The interior was beautiful, the large area being spacious and luxuriously put together. I was absolutely mesmerized by their set up.

The food, as i had mentioned was delicious! Nothing I can fault, even the wait time was shorter than expected!

Thank you so much for your hospitality Pascale, my partner and I will be sure to return.

Food and customer service was on point!
We had the cured kingfish - which was absolutely beautiful with the black garlic. For entree, we ordered the wood fired quail. Decent portion size for an entree! Again, great flavours. We had the wood fired marron as well, and it was so so good! It was beautifully presented. Price is slightly steep for the serving size but the flavours and the elegance of the dish compensated for it. The dish came with chips so that filled us up a bit.
Would definitely return to try their other dishes! :)

Could not have asked for a better finale to this year’s Truffle season. Chef Andy Harmer (previously heading Vue de Monde and The Point) made magic with black diamonds. We were lucky to be here at Pascale’s 2018 Truffle Dinner. Jerusalem Artichokes, Homemade Linguine, Wagyu, and a double baked Gruyere soufflé featured, but Truffles stole the show. Every dish screamed of Truffles, they were EXCESSIVE and INTENSE. LOVED it! Perfectly married wines flowed freely and took the meal to another level. Thank you Andy, Bob, James, and Marco for a stunning evening. This meal spoilt us, and we left dreaming what next year brings?

Located inside the great QT Melbourne hotel this place is very cool. Lunch menu is fantastic with dinner a bit more high end. Had the pork belly, some tuna tartare which were both amazing and finished off with the most divine snickers bar desert. Will be back here again to try more of the very extensive menu

Located in the cool surroundings of the Qt hotel this restaurant exceeded expectations. Luxe restaurant, great service and the food was to die for. The steak was exceptional quality and amazing char grilled flavour. There is a new chef at the restaurant and we were super impressed. The desserts were unbelievably delicious. They use the best ingredients and you can tell. The French butter and warm baguette served at the beginning of the meal was great too. The only thing I would have changed is that the cheese platter be served closer to room temperature. But that was minor. Even if you’re not staying at Qt hotel, this place is well worth a visit.

Loving this dimly lit spot for brekky if you’re staying at QT or just to pop in, the baked eggs were freakin’ amazing and the truffle scrambled?! Going back for that bad boy ASAP. Lucky enough to be there for a conference we managed to have many of their awesome bite sized bits and pieces too - when conference food is usually on par with what I assume they serve up in prison - QT has raised the bar! Amazing!

I was staying at the QT, so got to eat their breakfast for 4 days running and had lunch there. The staff were brilliant. On Saturday, they had a tough time dealing with the crowds, but they were very apologetic about the waits.

The breakfast was fabulous! I loved the black truffle scrambled eggs, the full Aussie breakfast and the pain au chocolat.

The scrambled eggs are definitely worth going there for. Served perfectly flavoured, with earthy fresh truffles and deliciously seasoned, with warm buttered sourdough toasts and steamed asparagus.

I also had their burger at lunch, which was juicy and satisfying. The blue cheese sauce was beautifully balanced and didn’t overpower the meat, pickles or sauces.

The bar staff are friendly and adapt their drinks and cocktails to suit. They give you time, even if they are very busy.

Definitely will recommend Pascale.

This review is for last November. We booked for 8 people and although many of the group arrived late, our waiter was very accommodating and allowed the first 3 of us to be seated at the table. We shared the crab cakes and a bottle of red while we waited. Eventually everyone was present and most of us ordered steak. Everyone's food came at the same time! Mine was also a perfect medium rare! Plus plus points :) I highly recommend coming here if you're a steak lover like me. The prices are fair considering the gorgeous setting is inside a fairly new five star boutique hotel with a nice rooftop bar. Looking at the menu today, I can see the crab cakes aren't available anymore, it's always great to have seasonal changes but I feel choices are fairly limited if you don't want steak.

Located on level one of the QT Hotel Melbourne we were pleasantly surprised at the interesting, chic, out there decor and their fabulous food. Friendly service at Pascale is obviously a priority so we felt very much 'at home' while enjoying a relaxed dining experience.

Firstly the ambience is very dark and moody - great for sitting around chatting not so good when trying to read the menu, or even updating maekup in the ladies (a total lost cause, please up the lighting in the toilets!!!)

fresh crusty bread as a appetiser before the mains.

The veal cutlets - was large, well seasoned and crunchy, with a topping of rocket..fresh and a light touch to the heaviness of the cutlet. The Beef pie Im assured was amazing - the meat delectable. The steak was generous and cooked to my liking - rare. Accompanied by a Bearnaise sauce - which i did not eat, the wait staff were only to happy to bring me my request (horseradish).

The sides were generous and the highlights were the wok greens and paris mash (would have looked rather uncouth if I had licked the bowl as I so wanted to!!!) accompanied by a pleasant tempranillio - a very filling and enjoyable meal. Only one of our party ordered a dessert and she rated it very favorably.

Even though we had a 2hr booking (as with most Melbourne restaurants on a saturday evening) we didnt feel rushed or pushed to leave....

We then headed up to the QT skytop bar (in another review) - would definitely recommend this restaurant _ esp if you like a bit of celeb spotting!!!

Excellent meal in contemporary hotel surrounds. Dining area was comfortable...we had the chicken fricasee and nicoise salad....both very tasty and well presented (fricasee had a 'reveal' with crispy crepe atop the meal when it arrived). Chips were also great! Yoghurt dressing added a refreshing complexity to the fricasee. Desserts were good although our expectations were very high after other reviews and didn't quite reach the giddy heights we hoped for. We'll be back.

Sophisticated dinner venue with a vast menu. I ordered the steak au poivre medium rare which was lovely and tender. We also shared the wok greens, mashed peas and polenta onion rings as sides. All delicious accompaniments. The spinofex rose was also a great wine option if your palate is on the dry side.

Actually went for a drink at the Rooftop Bar, but we weren't let upstairs so turned for a dinner here. Food was amazing, though found it a little small. I ordered My Tuna Nicoise, and was something new to me. Great service with friendly staff, and warm ambience.

Gorgeous restaurant and food. Everything is delicious and well thought out and decor is stunning. Great place for a nice, higher end dinner date. Service mostly great until the waiter insisted on a tip - which we were planning on giving any way but forcefulness is not the way to go about it! A must try though place for sure!

Came here the other night for a drink as we couldn't get upstairs to the rooftop and we had a dinner booking across the road. 
Staff are nice and helpful in helping to recommend drinks. We ordered 3 cocktails that were delicious! We also ordered the crinkle cut chips to snack on too. Only issue we had was the cocktails didn't seem like full cocktails to us. Usually cocktails that we have elsewhere are filled pretty much to the top of the glass. Some of ours looked like someone had taken a sip or two before we had even had any. 
Overall was a nice bar as it reminded us a bit of bars in the US.

Have been a few times now and thoroughly enjoy the restaurant.

The Char grilled chicken is an absolute highlight, as too are the oysters.

On last visit i tried the octopus - a new dish and would have liked a bit more of a char grilled taste through it.

On each occasion service has been inconsistent for the price (skill wise) - but always friendly.

Probably one of the best new restaurants in melbourne. I'm sick of the minimalist hipster decor that is pervading through all of melbourne. This place is brash and know it.

The food was surprisingly good. we had 5 dishes and all were cooked well with relatively large servings. The service was probably a bit too hands-on, but at least it was friendly.

Highly recommended.  Sporting a fantastic fitout and hip atmosphere, Pascale serves up fantastic French inspired food.  We started with Oysters and Champagne and followed this by fresh Beet Salad and Garlic Prawns for Entree - so good.  For mains we had Snapper and Flounder with sides of twice-cooked chips and wok greens.  Cooked to perfection - the food was fresh and beautifully presented.

However, ensure any visit includes a sample of their many amazing deserts.  The Chocolate Trifle is a winner!

Given its positive feedback that were outlined in many reviews, I decided to book for my 2021 NYE dinner. The location, services and taste, were all satisfactory. It was a decent price, with a notice of extra surgecharged on holiday. The rib eye was marvelous, and the wagyu was almost as close as my expectation. No kids menu here but staff were attentive to minors. Overall, I loved this dining experience.

We had our 10 year anniversary here last night. We had the best time, the ambiance of the venue is amazing, perfect for date night. We started of in the bar we had the most amazing bar tender shout out to Angus. He made us the most amazing drinks. Then we headed in for dinner the service was great, the food was amazing. After dinner we headed back to the bar and had a few more cocktails to end the night we actually wish we planned to stay at this hotel it was so beautiful. We also used their valet parking service. We will definitely be coming to this place again and also want to visit the rooftop bar next time we are down in the city. It’s a really cool vibe this joint we would recommend it.
