Exceptional place to have a drink and meal, music was great, food is delicious, spectacular view, great for people watching and the staff are absolutely wonderful! Highly recommended.
Warm day, but got a seat, about 3pm on a Friday. Staff attentive. Not a go "to be seen", place. Only had chips, but menu looked like it had a nice even selection for everyone. Not too try hard. Felt very comfortable there, middle aged couple (cool though). Good cocktail specials. Great spot, riverside, will keep coming back..
We’ve spent many hours at Riverland. Sipping on wine while staring out at the river and the hustle and bustle of city life. It’s a fantastic spot before a footie game with beer and hotdogs on offer. We need to return for a bite to eat some time soon.
Visited for the Hungry Yak pop-up showcasing what are arguably the best pub meals in the country. There was only one veg dish of the bunch, but it was so good that I could overlook my lack of options. The item in question was an incredible, crispy fried haloumi burger from NSW. Paired with a complementary Yak ale, it's the perfect spring bite. I've been to Riverland before to taste their normal menu and can also vouch for it. But what makes the venue are the great river views and consistently lovely staff. All in all, a good causal food and drink spot if you're in that end of the city.
This bar is opposite Flinders St Station so it’s easy to get to and it’s in a great location on the Yarra.
I called in here for some drinks w friends. Too much talking to take photos lol. I’ve haven’t been here for a while so it was good to go back.
The drinks are good and service from the English barman was excellent. He was upbeat, happy and made ordering a breeze thank you.
This a great place to hang out for a couple of drinks. Food wise it’s pretty standard looking bar food and as I was heading out for dinner I didn’t partake lol.
Fantastic venue, Fantastic View, Fantastic Service, Disappointing Mulled Wine (which we actually went for ) Fantastic Fries and Fantastic Staff.
A must for every Tourist.
Yarra River-side perfection with great vegan popcorn 'chicken'!A lovely Summer day at Riverland Bar is just what the doctor ordered - we ordered the Aperol Spritz, Pink Gin Spritz and Vegan Popcorn 'Chicken'. All were delicious and I would definitely order the same again - not a fan of the spit (obviously), but each to their own.Location is fabulous and the venue is unique and fun!Would return!thanks team, looking forward to future vegan items added to the menu :)

Loved the atmosphere at Riverland. Terrific fish and chips. Crispy and juicy fish with crispy and fluffy fries. Jerk chicken was cooked nicely and served with a yummy slaw. Now, not that it’s called a Frosé but I actually have no idea what it’s called so if you know please tell me! Very fruity and delicious with a stunning presentation. Riverland is the best late night place to come to when you just want to chill out by the waters’ edge.
What a great spot to sit and unwind! Thanks to Tim.E and his suggestion on visiting here, we had a wonderful time. The bar is set in gorgeous blue stone bricks, the vibe is relaxed and chilled.
I loved the 80's hits playing, it put a spring in my step and if there was a dance floor I probably would of gotten up to dance! haha
I ordered a spritz which was nice and refreshing, Tim.E ordered a frozen rose which he enjoyed and Tim.E's partner a G&T but the gin wasn't the best quality.
A great view overlooking the yarra, this really is a beautiful spot to come and visit.
Very very good. Service 1st class. good place to go and kick back for a few hours. Food was very tasty. Good value for money. Drinks are reasonable price. Overall great place to spend a saturday arvo.
What a place for AFL Grand final!
We spent pretty much entire day in this place and one of the reason why we picked this was because we didn't want to feels 'stuck' in the location.
Beautiful settings across the river. Beautiful view. All outdoors. Have bbq area. And surprisingly... amazing food!
We had macaroni and cheese fried. Amazing. And i'm not even a fan of mac&cheese. Loaded fries also awesome. I love the Mexican twist instead of just the normal cheese and loaded bacon. We also had loaded dogs. It was great. And OK price for its location!
Throughout the games we have ordered a few more like popcorn chicken and just plain chips and still tasted great!
$15 for cocktail is awesome. I tried the hot chocolate one and it was extremely boozy.
Friendly staffs. Great place for a day out.
