Recently visit Emporio to try their Fresh Flavours menu and for $15, it comes with a drink, main and free 4 hours parking. Had the steak with chips and salad for main and the steak was cooked well and the chips and salad was quite good. They do get quite busy on friday nights and the weekends. Overall for a $20 deal, it is quite a bargain. Hopefully they keep it as an ongoing menu.
Visited emporio pizza and pasta for a quick lunch before heading into the city. I saw a $15 deal and thought why not!
I got a eye fillet steak cooked rare with herbed potato mash, asparagus and mushroom sauce. For the price you pay, it was decent and well cooked. It is a small portion so really only suitable for lunch or a very light dinner. It also came with a drink of either wine, beer or soft drink. Overall, very happy.
Had the fish of the day, the steak and mushroom Arancini. The mushroom arancini was beautiful and crispy. The fish of the day was salmon and had a very lovely crispy skin. I did not really like the balls beneath the fish but everything else was good.
Been coming here for years, reasonable prices , great food and staff!
Came here for the $15 hearty meal, that's really a good deal with $15 you get a main, a drink and 4 hours multilevel parking! And you can even use it on weekends!!
I ordered the Tasmanian Salmon and Friend ordered the ox cheek. Both were lovely but I LOVED the ox cheek, it was so tender and full of flavour! We added a side of chips and had the strawberry shortcake for dessert + a scoop of strawberry sorbet. Lovely dinner! Service was really friendly and efficient!
Had the Harvest Table offer which came with a main dish, a drink plus four hours free parking all for $20.Both dishes were delicious and well presented. Service wise it was OK. The place was quite busy therefore took a while to serve our food.
3.5
Italian eatery at Crown Plaza.
The place is actually pretty nice and spacious, though there were no other seats at the time, so we were seated in a high bar, in front of the pasta cooking section but it was quite nice still.
It was a bit hard to flag someone at times, but the woman who served us was quick to notice most of the time and she was friendly and professional. There was a line for the bill though.
The T-Bone steak was quite good. I requested for medium and it was quite that, tad bit rarer. The meat was quite tender, size was quite good and had some flavor, but some parts were bit tough. The mushroom sauce and mashed potato were both enjoyable, the peas were decent, lacked flavor.
The package came with a choice of drink, so I had white wine.
Overall, a pretty good deal for $20. Could improve but a good eating option in crown.

Emporio is located on the ground floor of the Crown building, adjacent to Kitchen Workshop. Dining at this restaurant if you have a Crown Rewards card will automatically grant you free parking in the Crown complex, so it may be worthwhile to come here.
We were shown to our table by a senior staff member who seemed like she was in pain to be there. Her face carried a consistent frown and she looked like she hated her job. No smiles, no warmth. Just a service because it is her job. Not a great start.
I opted for the Seafood Spaghetti while my partner went for the rib-eye steak. We also decided to have a lamb pizza to share between us. Everything on the menu sounded great. The atmosphere held a gentle air of sophistication.
We were asked if we wanted the food to come out all at once. I accepted that offer, which they promptly delivered. While the food was all laid out on the table, I wanted a photo to commemorate the evening... this proved harder than I thought. The first staff member that I asked to take a photo for us was the grumpy lady from the start (she was the only staff available at the time) - true to her name, she took a disgruntled grumpy photo of us and then left. It was not a very good photo. I had to wait a while before I could get the attention of another staff member. He was an older fellow and really struggled with the functionality of a smartphone camera. I understand that it is not part of his job to know how to work a phone camera but I'm thankful that at least he tried.
My partner's steak was nothing special. The beans that scattered the plate were also average at best. The saving grace of the dish was the mushroom sauce. It was smooth and hit all the right spots. Lucky for that. For $15, you do receive what you pay for.
My seafood spaghetti had fantastic ingredients. It contained a splendid array of seafood including well cooked and good sized scallops, prawns, calamari and mussels. I loved the tenderness and flavour of every piece. The spaghetti infused with herbs and seafood really came together for a superb dish. Unfortunately, I found the sauce too watery. This was apparent the moment the waiter set the dish down on the table - the sauce just swirled around like a puddle. I feel like it was the sole factor that upset the texture of an otherwise amazing dish.
The pizza was also decidedly average at best. For that price point, you kind of expect something a bit more spectacular. I applaud the fresh ingredients used but I found that the sum of its flavours to be lacklustre. The bread was nice but nothing memorable. I have paid the same price for much nicer pizzas elsewhere.
Overall I did enjoy my experience at Emporio but am probably not keen on returning. I cannot justify its premium price point that does not fully deliver premium goods nor service. If you have earned vouchers from Crown, it is admissable - however, I would definitely not pay full price for what I received.
You probably read this review and are wondering why I gave this place a 4 - it is because I honestly and wholly enjoyed the hearty seafood pasta.
A friend and I headed to Crown for lunch! A few of their restaurants were offering a $15 set menu, and one of those places was Emporio Pizza and Pasta. This restaurant was located in the actual casino, and we ended up with a delicious Italian-inspired mealtime. Im not sure how long the offer is going for but $15 for a main and a drink (and some parking even too) is too good of a deal to pass up. Not sure the other diners were here for the deal, but the proximity to the gaming table is a plus as well. The options in November (when we dined) have changed since then, but we had ordered the beef and the chicken.
The ambience was good. Service was a little more than average.
The food was good and good for the pocket for the quality of food and ambience we got there.
Came here for father's day! Ordered the fish of the day which happened to be sword fish 😮 the bad boy pizza and linguine with smoked salmon~ the food was spectacular and service was also amazing, couldn't have been any better 👍
As huge AFL lovers, we like to make a day of it when our team plays during the day. This led us to visit Emporio within the Casino section. Sadly no kids in this one, 18+ only!
Service was prompt & the restaurant filled up very quickly. We got there at 5.45pm and by 6.30 there was a massive line.
What we ordered: for entree we shared an antipasto platter (served on top of a pizza base) and for mains we had the Chicken Parma, Fish & Chips and 2 x veggie salad w/Chicken.
Wow - the antipasto platter is out of this world, it filled four of us up!! Such a wide mixture of delicacies were presented and of course, as huge antipasto fans, we loved it. As for mains, no complaints there! Decent sized and all flavoursome. Due to how filling the antipasto was, it was a struggle to finish our mains!
Absolutely great food! We spontaneously chose this restaurant for dinner on a Friday night and the food was amazing. The ambience was good and staff were very friendly as well. It was great that we were able to customize our dishes as well according to our needs. Definitely a must try for great Italian dishes!
Nice specials
Staff is good and helped with menu.
Made us feel special.
Food was nice and good quality.
Good ambience.
Will recommend and go again.
Clockwise- Chicken Breast Grilled, Margherita Pizza, Tiger Prawns, Fettuccine Chicken Pesto- Rich, Lavish dinner at ‘The Emporio Pizza and Pasta’💫❤️

How you can fault these dishes for $9.90. A meal for $9.90 in Crown - that is not from the food court is pretty astonishing. Flavour was great. Staff were super polite and attentive.
Would come back.
The restaurant is fairly busy being located close to the casino. We had the mushroom pizza with truffle oil, very generous with the toppings. Also had the gorgonzola gnocchi was tasty and rich. Overall, no complaints and a good experience.
Decor is good and have large sitting room. Even with full house service was quick.
We ordered pizza were good and crisp. You can alter them to veg as we did.
Could be better not the best. Has good lunch deals.
Tried the lunch specials of $15 with wine and $20 for steak with work colleagues, a nice place for business lunch at crown, tasty food and good value for money
Great fast service, food was fairly priced and a good selection on the menu. Calamari entree was nice and steak main was cool exactly as requested! Staff were tentative and never far when requesting drinks
The food is always great service is good could do with a bit extra effort. Overall it never lets you down. Make sure you ask for ice on your drink they seem to forget.
Excellent mushroom arancini and luscious garlic-cheese pizza - I'll come back just to savour that! Bruschetta and the Fettucine Pollo (they made a vegetarian version) were just average, but the pizza fared better.
I've been here a couple of times now and while the atmosphere is not amazing (it's mostly full of old people taking a food break from gambling) I actually really rate the pasta. I always get the prawn and pesto broccolini linguini which I thoroughly enjoy and on this occasion a sneaky dessert pizza as my friend ordered both a limoncello cheesecake and a couple of fruit sorbets. Couldn't really fault what we had and with woodfired pizzas and lots of special offers its a good stop for a quick bite if you are in the casino
Went to a collegues farewell lunch at Crown. Had the special pork chop and glass of wine for $20. It was a little disappointing as it was very dry. My friends had the Mussels in the tomato and basil sauce it was delicious and the Mussels with the chirizo was nice too but a little salty. For $20 with wine also it was a huge serving for very fresh mussels which were very well cooked.
You will find the absolute best pizzas in Melbourne right at emporio! An antipasto wood fired pizza ... this was shared by 4 of us & we all thoroughly enjoyed every part of it... the service was great! The cocktails divine! And the best part is it is located inside the crown casino !!!!

Been here for a number of times over the past few years. The ambience was friendly. Located in crown, this place is considerably versatile. Price is reasonable for a quick decent meal, to have a catch up with friends, to have a nice lunch or dinner, even to celebrate a special event with family or friends.
Recently we had fettucinne carbonara and salt pepper calamari. They were beautiful. The pancetta was crisp but not to hard to bite. The pasta was aldente, the sauce is coated very nicely to every strand of fettucinne. The calamary was not chewy, nicely flavour, and generous amount for entree size.
Will definitely come back
Emporio is one of my favourite restaurant in Crown. With a huge selection on Food, there are endless options for you to choose from. Service can sometimes be a bit slow in either peak hour period, staff are fantastic at what they do etc. I love how the restaurant is now made into an 18+ restaurant, so all adults can mingle around without having the distraction of kids etc.
My family and my relatives went here last night to try the $13.90 deals they are offering until November 14. I ordered the ocean trout special which came with crushed potatoes, spring greens, carrots, and a lemon-butter sauce. I asked for my fish to be medium rare and they definitely delivered that! Everything was falling apart and it did taste really good.
The only downside was that my mother's meal did come out extremely late. Despite telling us her meal would come out in 5 minutes, it came out about 10-15 minutes and majority of my family were almost finished. But that may have occurred as the restaurant was quite crowded last night.
Overall, the specials are definitely worth getting before it ends in a couple of weeks!
Dined in two nights in a row.
Tried all of their weekday special meals and would not give the barramundi a miss!
Loved the prosciutto pizza as well as their pastas.
Lovely service and food was well worth it!
On their weekdays special ...... $13.95 is a bargain.
Located within the gaming floor, so no kids allowed.
Casual set up, good area to get away from all those slot machines, yes we can still their noises.
My Barramundi was cooked perfectly, the only thing that's not quite right, just too much salt on the ratatouille.
Great meal deal with a glass of Red at $13.95, can't go wrong with that offering, not sure about the rest of the time.
Dined in on a busy Saturday night. Greeted by friendly staff who asked us how things were throughout the time we were there.
Seated at 7.50, dishes arrived at 8.20.
Between 3, we shared; 1x entree size battered fried calamari, 1x garlic and cheese pizza, 1x Capricciosa pizza, 1x calamari and chorizo salad.
Food was decent, salad was slightly overdressed, hence it presented a salty taste. Pizzas were crispy, but quite greasy. We were given a small pizza box to take away the slices we couldn't finish.
Casual dine in Italian restaurant at a better price point to most the medium to high priced dining at Crown.
Would say price is closer to your suburban Italian restaurant and if similar quality.
Always good deals on, comfy environment and decor.
Good for a casual dinner with friends and to stay on a slightly cheaper side compared with $30+ mains at other restaurants with small servings.
Really liked the lasagne here.
Amazing! Tried a couple of the pastas and couldn't fault... Nice and hot when the food came out, so I can see its all freshly made and extremely tasty, I was so satisfied with the food there, plus the cheese pizza was spot on. I believe the prices are very reasonable and I will definitely return.
It's a very nice place to have a date, as me and my girlfriend found out. There was a queue but we were seated in about 20 minutes being 6th in line. The service was relatively quick and so was the food. I ordered the chicken parma with bruschetta for the entrée. The bruschetta was nice but was too plain. The parma was also accompanied with salad and chips, and it was good without being great. Overall the experience was good, and the food was tasty.
If there was a 10 rating I would give them just that.
Came here Friday and had the Special Sirloin Steak and a $10 half price Passion Mojito.
Best steak I've ever had, I told the waiter that it's even better than The Terminus in Clifton Hill.
So well cooked, fresh salad with Balsamic Vinegar on the side , Garlic Butter, and Peppercorn sauce.
I also asked for some tomato sauce for my chips. We were so satisfied with the meal but still felt alittle hungry still ( we both had a very light lunch)
For dessert we had the Bacia Pear Sticky Pudding With Hazelnut Gelato and Gello Lemon Cheese Cake With Lime Sorbet.
The Mojitis were very strong but, blew our minds.
We askes for some cheeries to be put in but I think the barista forgot so we told another waiter and he brought over a glass full of it.
Hehehe I love my cocktail cherries 😉😂
Overall the meal was very well cooked and the service was spot on, everyone was attentive and made sure our meal was enjoyable.
Will definitely be back and bring my friends and and family.
Not bad! Food is not stunningly good but it is above average. They serve quite quickly so the place is for those who wish to get their food right a way. Background noise can be annoying for some but it is surely expected if you consider its location!
Went recently and genuinely enjoyed the meals. The pizza was well worth its price and their burgers are deceptively good as their rather small size packs a big punch. Drinks are also served cold and their 'Pot' alcohol servings are quite good for their price. Well worth checking out if you're in the casino.
Been here for a several times and the food were okay. Their steaks and fried dishes were not that great so I usually come here to have their pastas, pizza or lunch/dinner special. The current special has an upgrade to a pan-fried whole barramundi. It tasted really good with the herbs and the lemon butter sauce. Plus bones were removed 👍, so I would give 4/5 for this dish
I love seafood pasta! I went with a group of friends and everyone loved their dishes. Line wasn't too long and the service was quick which is surprising given that the place is hugeeee. A bit on the pricier end. My pasta cost $28, the mussels were a bit small but they were really generous with the prawns! My friend had the tiramisu and said she felt like it was more of a chocolate cake and lacked the coffee flavour.
The best italian food i've had in a while been to many over the years and ordered pasta and somewhat left really sick after eating it but I conquered my fear of eating pasta in a restaurant and it has definitely changed my opinion. Also had some of my girlfriends peri peri pizza which was delicious as well will be visiting again thats for sure
Went here today had the Gnocchi Gorgzola which was very nice it came out just the right temperature . Service was good I was seated straight and I was asked if I wanted a drink as I was being seated . Would have no problem going here again .
Last night, we found ourselves at Crown and decided to have an early dinner. Went in at half past five, place was still quite empty. Ordered the $12.95 Specials (steak for hubby and barramundi fish for me) and they were surprisingly really good. We also ordered a margherita pizza and drinks. Can't beat the price and ambience. I'd give it a 4.5 or even 5 if not for the grumpy waiter. He seemed like the oldest in the team. It felt like he looked down on us mere mortals who only ordered the specials. Mind you, as we were leaving, the place was getting full and noticed on the way out, that most customers ordered the specials too! See, most people won't have even tried Emporio if not for these. So be less grumpy, be happy!
I have to say I was worried coming here given the average 3-4 star rating. However, I do not have a single bad thing to say! Food is very well priced, and AMAZING!!!! Possibly the best pasta I have ever had! Service high quality, epic drinks menu, no complaints. Lovely Italian cuisine.
Great food, love their fresh gnocchi. Very reasonably priced for a restaurant at crown. Prompt service. Rate the pizzza and pastas. Had a great chicken breast meal was divine

Had lunch yesterday at Emporio & chose Lasagne and found it flavoursome & in more than sufficient quantity for the price. Service was very good but staff need to improve their initial approach to customers & where the lasagne is served, remind customers that the actual serving bowl is extremely hot & to be careful. Décor is pleasant & the eatery has a nice ambience with background music being just that. I will return.

Amazing food. Definitely worth a visit. Would recommend "fettuccine pollo con Marsala" pasta. Waitress Kate served us very well.
...I'd say that's pretty good for a 70/30 experience in a decent atmosphere. It's no where near a fine dining experience, but so long as you don't expect the best meal of your life here, you'll be happy with decent portions, good flavour and competitive prices.
Delicious Food & Good Service. The 4 of us dined here mid-week prior to a concert. The food was delicious - esp the 12 hour slow cooked beef ribs. Staff were attentive & with an Entertainment Guide voucher - great value.
Best woodfire pizza I have ever had, and yummy pasta x
First- the negative... I ordered my cocktail and from where we were seated it sat on the bar for at least 15 min... I had almost finished my main & they still didn't bring it to our table- in the end I told them I didn't want it...apart from that the rest of our evening was great! Entree calamari melted in my mouth & our steak was amazing- so tender and tasty- I rarely order steak but I'm
glad I did. Staff very friendly & our other cocktails/drinks were great... For a casual dinner at Crown I recommend dining here :)
Enjoyed the meal. Affordable, 5 star customer service, welcoming and what more can you ask for in a casual restaurant?
Love this place. If you need a gluten free option they have GF pasta. The seafood one is fabulous. I add a touch of cream and Napoli sauce to it and it just takes it to another level. Great kids special too....$12 for sizeable pasta, drink and ice cream. Meals are decent serves. Great family option.
Had goats cheese and avacardo bus crypt and the 12 hour cooked ribs and they were fantastic.
