Fab welcome from the staff to a beautifully designed space. Loved the tables and napery. I Started the evening with a bowl of ceviche which was pleasant but a little sharp. It was stated to be with trout roe but I’ve not seen trout roe so small- more like tobiko/flying fish roe and was pretty lost in the pool of tigers milk. The fried potato accompanying was excellent. The Arnhem Land barramundi main course was tasty but the fish very soft, like farmed barramundi. Fennel Salad was great and the chips very tasty too- love that they are skin on. Watermelon salad was just ok- but the Beets were very nice.
Reflecting on my experience I recognise that I didn’t pay for this meal but if I had, I probs would have been a bit disappointed and given only 3 stars. Probs not value for money.
Without a doubt, one of the best dining experiences I've ever had. Everything was perfection - food, service, drinks. I cannot fault this place. The prawn cocktail was a real favourite at our table! We will be back for sure
The food at Iki-jime is out of this world. You can taste the quality of the produce and everything is so done so creatively. Me and my partner started with the prawn cocktail and fish and chips. It was a lovely surprise when the head chef delivered it to our table and explained the uniqueness of their signature dish. We then shared the kingfish, chips and side salad and finished with the most magnificent chocolate soufflé ever. We took the sommelier’s wine recommendation too and wasn’t disappointed. Can’t recommend this place enough!
This is my go-to bar and each time I've visited it's been lovely. There's a great selection of drinks and happy hour means you can up the orders on the delicious bar snacks.
Friendly and efficient bar staff and a nice vibe without the loud music. A great place to catch up and actually have a conversation without the need to shout.
This place is a class act.
Absolutely amazing from start to finish. Great service to begin with and ambience.
Definitely get the octopus and mortan bay bug tart....delicious!

The second time come to here. Menu changed a little bit. But lucky the Moreton bay bug tart still here.
The desserts were soooooo nice. Specially the elderflower sorbet...... it’s amazing!!
What a great place. Atmosphere is a bit dark in the bar but in the dining area it works really well. Sublime food - fish was spot on and especially the asparagus where the best I’ve ever had in my life. Service was excellent from the host to the sommelier and our waiter. Thanks for a great experience!
Beauty relaxing place to wine and dine with your partner and friends. Welcoming by friendly staff in an relaxing atmosphere. We ordered a few dishes from the menu all seafood so don’t expect a steak or any meat. Food was really top quality and presentation was excellent.
We had a booking for 4 on Wednesday after knowing that the restaurant won Two Hats award. The restaurant was full-seated on a cold weekday but the service was very timely. The staff gave the drink list first, then the main menu and finally a dessert menu.
I work in a restaurant, the other is a chef, and another one is a pescatarian and the menu pleased all of us. Surprisingly, we all agreed with our choice of Bug Tart & Slow Cooked Cabbage as a must try. The wine list has a wide range of selection, we all like our choice of a cocktail and white wines. Desserts are selected but worth to try. We didn't try their coffee though.
Sourced from ethical fish farming practices that deliver sensationally fresh seafood, the quality at Shannon Bennett's new seafood restaurant, Ikijime, is unsurprisingly impeccable. But Ikijime goes above and beyond just serving up quality seafood, taking guests on an exciting culinary adventure with bold, inventive creations that highlight the natural flavours of the seafood on hand.
