Menya Ramen - Melbourne - Photo album

We ordered 2x gyutan don and they are still good as what they taste like when we were in Melbourne a couple of years ago. Really generous portions specifically the rice. We were served by a friendly staff. Will come back again before heading back west.
Wonderful service by genuinely helpful and friendly staff. Helpings were generous and tasted great. They even provide takeaway containers (at no charge) to take what you can’t finish home. Recommend and we’ll be returning with the whole family next time.
I ordered Sapporo Ramen and Okinawa Udon, and the taste was completely incomprehensible. First of all, the salad on the udon tasted like it was spoiled, and the bamboo shoots in the ramen were especially bad because they were made with pickles. It wasn't Japanese at all and it was the worst noodle
It's a low key Japanese restaurant, so don't expect anything fancy. I won't say they have the best ramen in town but they are popular because it's relatively cheap eatery in town! These days the average price for a bowl of noodle or asian rice dish is $15, MENYA is one of the few below this average,
Food came fast and the restaurant was okay. Chicken in the curry was so crunchy but the noodle was a little light taste. Anyway prices are good
Ordered the famous gyutandon (Spicy option). It was delicious, the rice was a bit too much for me. Place was busy during lunch time.
Gyu tan don at it’s best as usual Okonomiyaki - no thanks Ramen - uh okay #bulgogi_n_rendang
Restaurant is okay, Plenty of sitting for indoor and outdoor. May need to be vigilant about their hygienic level of utensil, cutlery and water bottles.
