Interesting concept restaurant offering a travel-inspired dining experience by the head chef, Charlie. Atlas presents different cuisines he encountered during his 8-month trip through 15 countries. The set menu changes every four month to the cuisine of a different country and this time, it was Indian. It went from Smoked Mackerel Bhelpuri, House-Made Paneer Cheese, Grilled Octopus, Duck Thali, and lastly, Gulab Jamun. My personal favourites were Mackerel Bhelpuri and Grilled Octopus.

I was born and raised in Busan, Korea (Yes, Busan from Train to Busan. So you know I'm hard) so I might be a bit biased but I rather enjoyed distinctive flavours of the mackerel. Loved that smokey mackerel flavours which went beautifully together with sweet potatoe and yogurt. Great starter.

Octopus was grilled with some sort of Indian seasoning - mildly spicy if I remember correctly. I was impressed how tender it was because I've been told that it requires a great deal of effort to cook it perfectly. Inside the panipuri, there was this minty sauce which you can pour over to give you that extra kick. Duck Thali was also delicious with the perfect amount of fat attached to each piece but kinda wished curry had more of that good ol'authentic Indian flavours. Overall, decent experience! Would love to try again in a few months.

Another excellent experience at Atlas dining. Cannot stop raving about this place to anyone who asks me where to go for fine food. Charlie the head chef always gets the set menu right. Amazing gastronomic experience. Highly recommend the wine pairing. Can not fault this place at all, lovely friendly attentive staffs, and the atmosphere is great. Can’t wait for the next country set menu experience. Will always be back.

I have been to Atlas 4 times and have enjoyed it each and every time. Most recently we had the Lebanese menu which left us salivating over the chicken kibbe. The food is delicious at Atlas and very reasonably priced. I truly commend Charlie and the team on their ability to change cuisines every 4 months. Learning new dishes and techniques is not an easy task, and at Atlas they're able to execute this so well. Looking forward to coming in again!

Abso-bloody-lutely brilliant. Came here on Friday with a friend for the soul food experience. Talk about food that speaks to the soul! The five-course celebration was one of the most fun dinners I've ever had. I don't eat seafood and that was catered for without batting an eyelid. The beef brisket was the absolute standout for me, followed closely by the key lime pie. My friend and I found the never-ending stream of new waitstaff quite funny, as though each course had its own staff member. I was still hungry at the end, and one of the absolute legends got me an extra serving of the brisket. Wow. It's a little pricey at $75 a head plus wine (I think our bill for two was $230), but a wonderful meal nonetheless. Thank you, Atlas!

I had the previous Chinese inspired menu, which I now believe has been changed over, as the restaurant refreshes the theme every 3 months or so.
The service was quick and efficient with each course.
The entree soup with salmon was clean, clear and tasty.
Eggplant birds next had some lovely flavours and textures from the deep fried thread noodles.
The cod was also well done, with firm flesh in a chilli oil sauce.
Pork belly was juicy with a crisp skin.
No matter what the current theme is, the menu is well executed with beautiful presentation and a good understanding of the flavours from the region.
The restaurant design is modern and contemporary, and the rear courtyard is beautiful with the open fireplace.
Service was professional and friendly.
I would recommend a visit, as their set menus are also at a decent price point.

@atlasdining transports their diners to a whole new culinary journey every four months.Had the priviledge to embark on a journey to Korea. Every course brought to the table was spot on and the level of detail is mindblowing. Each dish had true respect to the local produce. Very impressed with the menu by Chef Charlie Carrington. Cant wait to embark on his upcoming journey to Mexico which starts from September 5th to December 23rd.

Atlas Dining is a clear winner for the Australian Dining scene. Premium but not pretentious, driven by an ambitious concept and delivers on delicious food and a great wine and cocktail list. It's an imitate space set on a bustling road, that draws you in time and time again. Could not recommend enough.

My husband and I dined on the Chinese inspired menu and really enjoyed it. I love the concept of the cuisine changing based on the chefs travels and experiences, that shows enormous talent and food knowledge and the menu really takes you on that journey. The service was attentive and lovely but it was a bit noisy and loud. I would consider this price wise and experience wise to be fine dining but it didn’t really feel that way with the level of noise, so from an atmosphere perspective we weren’t “transported to China”. Also the dishes came out quite quickly so we were finished in a little over an hour, again it felt a little rushed for the price. The food was nice though, the mushroom dumplings were my favourite!

Probably one of the best meals I have eaten in Melbourne. The set menu is currently Chinese (probably my least favorite cuisine) and I loved every single bite!! Each element of every dish was so well thought out! I had the vegan set menu and my boyfriend had the normal one and we both thought this was incred!! Would definitely recommend going.

Took my boyfriend for his birthday and had the best meal in a long time. The dishes were amazing especially the oysters. The mix of flavours were not like any oysters we’ve had in Melbourne so we ordered double! All the flavours worked well with each other but you shouldn’t get the extra courses unless you have the stomach for it. We were so full by the mains we could barely finish the quail curry or the dessert. Apart from that though beautiful restaurant, good service (the martini was a tad strong but overall good) and a well thought out menu for a reasonable price we are definitely going back when the menu changes!

Had a great experience on Friday at Atlas. Love the concept of the restaurant and the attention to detail. We had the Thai inspired menu. The taste was authentic and definitely my favourite thai in Melbourne. loved the Tom yum soup as a sorbet and the egg yolk jam. Dessert was nice but felt it needed something sweet to cut the citrus. Highly recommend and will return again.

Chef Charlie Carrington’s travels take us to Thailand this time around. It’s the first time I’ve dined here and am struck by the attention to small details - the leather bound Laguiole cutlery set I can imagine some 18th century dame might have once used for a picnic, and the passport menus noting the flavour pit stops we’ll take on our food journey tonight. It starts with a bang with a delightful interpretation of Tom Yum - a delicate tomato sorbet surrounded by a perfectly balanced and bright cold soup. More dishes arrive - fresh amberjack, crispy morning glory, thai street snacks, quail red curry and more. Dessert was a savoury sweet fried banana with an intensely banana flavoured sorbet and hand pulled sugar egg strands. Really good. Service was excellent and well paced.

Booked Atlas to celebrate my partner’s birthday, and found it to be a perfect experience. Located near Prahran Market, Atlas has a lovely open dining area, kitchen you can look into, and a courtyard. Light streamed in the day we went, illuminating the restaurant and giving it a lovely lively atmosphere. Staff were attentive and helpful, explaining each dish and chatting to us when possible and answering questions that we had.
This time Atlas is doing Brazilian, and I am so glad we got to experience their menu! It was a new cuisine for us, and what a great first experience it was. Each dish was delicious, well thought out and well balanced. Nothing was too overwhelming, but each dish had an element to it that stood out and was beautifully accompanied by the other ingredients. Would love to dine here again and try their take on more cuisines!

We decided to try Atlas Dining on a Friday night. The theme for this month is Brazil. We were excited to try it as we have not had Brazilian food before. Every course was well-presented and not only looked beautiful but tasted delicious. The hilight for us was the wagyu beef dish (meat melted in the mouth) and the dessert was spectacular. The service was prompt and friendly. We are excited to go back when the cuisine changes.

Last night we came to Atlas in South Yarra. This restaurant rotates it’s menu several times a year to
focus on a different country or region and tonight’s cuisine was Brazilian. The interior appeared to be undergoing a renovation and my dining partner described this as mid reno chic which I thought was hilarious. There is a courtyard out back with a fire pit that we waited beside for our table to come ready.

The menu at Atlas was a set 5 courses and we received a bonus Street eats course too which was a nice surprise. They were also very good at switching out the red meat dish for Kellie and giving her a ocean trout dish instead.

Courses were small but with 6 in all we felt very contented at the end of our meal. The first course which was the crab salad served in a half crab shell and this was a beautiful start.

Second course delivered some really interesting vegetarian flavours with a blue cheese mousse served with cold smokey guava liquid which really was stunning.

Our bonus street eats course was a hands on experience and this was followed by Octopus with an cashew crumb, plantain, peppitas , pickled pumpkin balls and orange slices. This was probably our favourite dish of the night.

Our final savoury course was wagyu for me and ocean theory for Kellie. Kellies trout was super crispy and a dark rub was used. My wagyu wasn’t was tender as I would have liked and has a little gristle which was disappointing. It came stuffed with a Brazilian spicy sausage. Taste wise bang on for both

Our final sweet course saw us eating a Dulce de leche which consisted of a caramel layer under a soaked pastry. This came with a passionfruit custard served in a passionfruit shell. Quite a heavy dessert but the perfect finish.

There were some great wines on the menu, some good wines by the glass and a handful of cocktails too.

A really enjoyable culinary journey to Brazil. The best thing about this venue is give them 3 months and it will be a totally different menu and dining experience.

Enjoyed the Brazilian degustation tonight, outstanding food, thoroughly enjoyed and will definitely return.

Only reason I did not give 5 stars was due to the lack of volume of food, as I thought it definitely needed larger overall servings of food, or at least the main course. Service was excellent.

Lovely dining experience at Atlas. Atmosphere was sophisticated and comfortable and service was attentive and friendly. At the moment the cuisine is French. Our 7 course degustation consisted of house made bread with smoked butter, tuna Niçoise salad, pistou soup, lamb tartare, ratatouille with confit egg yolk, coq au vin, baked Camembert and an apple and custard dessert. Everything was delicious but my favourite course was a tie between the ratatouille and the Camembert. So tasty! Next cuisine on the itinerary is Brazilian so will definitely be back!

Impressed with my visit to Atlas Dining. Friday and Saturday is reserved to seven course dining, which in my mind is the only way to go - the more the better! Current theme for Atlas is French cuisine however I visited during the Peruvian phase. Head Chef Charlie Carrington has an amazing concept of altering the cuisine every 4 months to a country that he has recently visited so you will always get a new and fresh experience. This level of innovation is pretty outstanding and commendable. All the dishes were steller, I was thoroughly impressed. Decor was modern and clean. Recommended for a special occasion.

I really enjoyed my dining experience at Atlas Dining. I would compare it to some of the best restaurants in Melbourne - I can certainly recall paying much more for degustations and not enjoying it as much as I did at Atlas. The changing menu is a great concept and all the dishes we had could have easily come from a kitchen that served French cuisine day-in, day-out for years.

Favourites form the current menu were the onion soup and the mushroom parmentier. The Délice de bourgogne mille feuille is the dish we walked away talking about and was really something special.

We came hungry and left pleasantly full after the 7 course menu. I should also note the service was faultless. I’d come back for sure.

There was a choice of the 5 or 7 course menu. We did the 5 and filled up on Pisco sours! The food was interesting and beautifully presented. The ceviche and quail were my favourites. Looking forward to the upcoming French menu.

Fine Dining Club hadn’t met since our inaugural dinner at Ides months ago, so we thought – what better time to resuscitate it than a few days before my elimination diet was about to start? For those who haven’t been following my travails on Instagram, I’ve been getting increasingly sick from following my intolerances in a half-assed manner, so much so my dietician has put me on a three-week elimination diet which I’m currently following where I’ve been advised to stick to 100% homecooked food free of FODMAPs followed by a reintroduction period where I will reinstate high-FODMAP foods and ascertain – once and for all – what it is that makes me descend into a farty state. Needless to say, I set about getting as much high-FODMAP food into me beforehand (probably not what my dietician would have advised) and our Fine Dining Club excursion to Atlas Dining was part of that.

What a meal! I was impressed from the second we stepped through the door with a smile and genuine greeting from every staff member we passed, and it just kept improving from there. We were seated next to the courtyard and with a good view of the kitchen, and staff were attentive without being intrusive and seemed to be genuinely eager to know our thoughts on the dishes. The current theme is Peruvian and we opted for the 7 courses, which I completed with a refreshing Pisco Sour. Each dish was delicious with a perfect balance of flavours and textures; my favourites were the ceviche, the mussels, and the creative and unique corn sorbet dessert. Presentation of the cutlery and dishes was beautiful and to top it all off the head chef, Charlie, worked with the other staff on the floor and served us a number of our meals. He even chatted to us at the end to get our feedback, and gave us insights into the development of the menu and the plans for the future (French next!). He has an obvious and infectious passion for his work and it was a thrill to be served by him and able to chat to him - we will definitely be back!

What an awesome dining experience we had last night! Not only was the food sensational, the service was amazing too. Charlie even came out with a few of the dishes himself, which just shows how down to earth he is as a chef. We had a good chat to him about the current dishes and upcoming ideas, and it made me want to come back for the next rotation of cuisine! The food was amazing, I think all 4 of us loved every dish. My favorites were the prawn broth (seriously rich and full of flavour) and the new sweet potato and lamb jerky dish, but every plate held its own. Each dish was carefully constructed, and I was blown away with the different textures on the plate, along with the mix of flavors. Cannot recommend Atlas enough, and I will absolutely be back for the next cuisine rotation!!

Cuisine: Peruvian/ Chifa
Rating: 92/100

Watching the Atlas menu has become similar to the new trailer for an upcoming movie. This time round was Peruvian, which is no easy fete due to the difficulty to source the ingredients required. Don't worry, there wasnt any alpaca or cuy on the menu!
Starting off the evening was a standard Peruvian aperitif/national drink, the famous Pisco sour. The taste of this potion brought me straight to the memories in Minaflores watching the paragliders silhouetted against the sunset on the ocean.
We opted for the Nikkei option (7 courses) and it did not disappoint. Chifa is one of the cuisines which Peruvians love, and ever since eating it in Lima we loved it too.
The first course was kingfish cebiche. This was toned down in acidity for the Australian palate, however still had a bit of punch in the leche de tigre and worked in the favour for the more delicate kingfish.
The second drink of the night was a chichamorada which translates to purple corn drink. Wow! Very authentic, with spicy flavours.
The second course was the first of the chifa dishes being a grilled prawn is a lighter bisque style broth. It was great, not a drop remained.
The third course was the second of the chifa dishes being a smoked mussel with quinoa crackers. This was a dish where the enjoyment was to eat it by hand, using the crackers as a base, and layering the mousse and mussel.
By this time my purple corn drink had run dry. For sentimental value I wanted the fluorescent yellow drink, inca cola. This brought back fond memories of a refreshing cold drink after completing the inca trail.
The fourth course was the potato dish. Whilst inventive, I found it lacking in the punchiness of the other dishes of the night. A little more kick in the aji would have been awesome. Nonetheless it was still a very enjoyable dish.
The fifth dish was the duck. This was my favourite dish of the night and I would go back just for this dish alone. It was an inventive fusion of traditional peruvian street food and Australian tastes. The seasoning is a smoky sauce for anticuchos, which is traditionally made with ox hearts grilled as a skewer in roadside stands, but I think it works even better with duck.
After 2 non-alcoholic drinks I decided it time to jump back into the drinks and had a chicha. This is a fermented corn drink made from sweet corn homemade by Atlas. It was quite pleasant and I didnt mind it. I guess to describe the taste, it is similar to a kombucha.
The sixth course was the arroz(rice). This was very much a fusion dish using lamb jerky, with the rice cooked in a risotto style. I'm not usually a fan of risotto, but I enjoyed the spicy sauce as well as the texture of the lamb jerky. As a side, lamb empanadas were served and this was particularly nostalgic as the first thing we ate after completing macchu picchu and the inca trail was empanadas.
For a peruvian night, it would not be complete without trying some pisco. I tried 2 based on recommendations and they were amazing choices with beautiful aromatics.
The final dish was a dessert with corn icecream as the hero. This was a fitting finale to a journey back to Peru where the staple is maize and the most moorish snack is what we named "fat corn".
Gracias to Charlie and crew for a nostalgic journey back to Peru without the 36hr flight. To be honest, I preferred this menu compared to the Elevations of Central, Lima. See you guys in a few months for French food.

I missed the South Korean and Mexican and Vietnamese and Israeli turns and I was kinda peeved with myself. The food looked amazing in pics and the reviews were all positive. So I got myself into action and booked us for the Peruvian menu! The drinks list is collated to match the cuisine so Peru had a number of Pisco drinks! The others started with a Pisco Sour each which eased them into the weekend nicely. This was followed by a moonshine and then a delightful cheeky rum passion fruit drink. I thought we’d hit the flavour and taste zenith with the third dish of duck, charred purple beans, smoky eggplant topped with fried noodles and some smoky chilli powered heat. The duck was perfect. I feel trying to describe it would diminish it in some way. Everything about it was perfect - and it matched beautifully with the other components. Probably the best duck dish I’ve tried.

There are a lot of things I respect about Atlas Dining. For one, the food is inspired by chef Charlie Corrington’s travels. I love the fact that he has brought back pieces of his travels, and is now sharing it with us in the form of food. Let’s not forget that he is only 24 years of age. The menu at Atlas dining changes every 4 months to the cuisine of another country. This concept is not only brave, but it shows that they are not scared to push the boundaries. At the end of January, we went to Charlie Carrington’s Atlas Dining in South Melbourne. The menu changes every 4 months and this was the first week of the Peru menu. Overall, we had a great time at Atlas Dining. The waitstaff were very friendly and explained the dishes well. I had a great view of the kitchen and got to have a peek of how the dishes are assembled for service. The food was great and I am glad I ordered the 2 extra Nikkei courses because the fig and eel dish was to die for. Not all the dishes blew me away but I didn’t leave disappointed. For only $100 per person, it is actually quite affordable fine dining.

Japanese Peruvian was the theme and it did not disappoint! Went on Valentine's Day and we were served a 5 course dinner which wasn't too heavy (filling) and was expectionally tasty! Full of flavour! The duck, lamb jerky, seafood starts were all great and the dessert wasn't too sweet or rich which was much to our liking. Will be back for sure (once they change the menu again of course!).

Went with my partner for a valentine’s dinner. It has been literally the best fine dining which I have tried in years. Creative and beautiful dishes with obviously impeccable understanding about the distinguishing culture and temperament which are behind the highly diversified ingredients, otherwise the fusion cannot work so seamlessly and successfully. I knew after the dinner that they have been changing their menu regularly to have different food from different countries, nevertheless in our case, the fusion which was inspired by a combination of Japanese and Peruvian elements gave us the most wonderful and unforgettable dinning memory at atlas. The melon with ocean trout was definitely amazing, just cannot have enough of it, the intensive aroma which comes from the perfect balance between the fruity sweetness and the seafood savouriness makes this simple look dish a highlight among all the enjoyments which we were privileged at atlas.
After this night just want to try each of their new menus and be taken to explore some more countries of their food fantasies.

What’s more, the pacing of their service is genuine enough for people to forget they are actually a fine dining restaurant (just being sarcastic), each of your next course came just in minutes after your last finished one, not like in some others relentlessly you need to probably wait for around 15 mins awkwardly for the next course to be served. I know some people just enjoy that, but pathetically I would much prefer the Atlas one, needless to say they give kind and friendly introduction to each of the food you had on your table, I quit like that, lucky enough you will have their handsome head chef to do that himself for you.

Anyway, I have been lousy enough here, what I want to say is I truly love this restaurant and would recommend to anyone who are already a bit tired of so call fine dining and you won’t regret it.

Bianca: Last October, Alex and I spent 9 days eating till our hearts were content (and sometimes even beyond that) sampling some of the best food on offer in Melbourne. But it was our meal at Atlas Dining that really had us excited. The very fact bookings were so hard to come by had us very intrigued. I didn’t really know much about chef and owner Charlie Carrington prior to our visit but my research for this piece made me respect him even more. At only 23 years he puts most people (including this recent 30-year-old) to shame. But it’s Atlas Dining’s concept that really sets him apart. A complete menu over-haul every four months. You’re thinking. okay, that sounds normal. No, we’re talking focusing on a new cuisine EVERY four months.

Unique concept where the menu changes constantly every four months that combines head chef Charlie Carrington’s love of travel and food. This keeps things new, fresh and room to test and push beyond creative boundaries in taste and menu offerings. Everything tasted balanced, fresh, crisp, refreshing and made me happy. It was an experience and one that Charlie “Constantly Changing Cuisine” Carrington has obviously put heart, focus and thought into to make it a memorable one. Food tasted as good as it looked.

Loved the simplistic, natural and minimalist dining space as well as the open kitchen concept too - so warm, rustic and inviting (I seriously almost wished or felt drawn to stand beside the kitchen crew to watch as they cooked or plated to soak it all in!). Really liked the cutlery presentation too. Very knowledgeable, efficient and friendly floor staff - awesome faces of the Atlas too with the mix in the crew. All in all, an excellent dining choice tonight methinks.

5 course degustation - mexican to boost. Fresh, well thought out ingredients but a bit underwhelming. A bit disappointing as hoping for some fiery mexican spirit in the dishes. Nice winelist and the service was excellent.
PS toilets are outside the back with no coverage. Not good on a thunderstorm days to be in dress and heels. Byo umbrella

I can become agitated when there are no menu
choices, and you are subject to the chef’s idea of what he/she thinks you want to eat.

But dinner at Atlas makes you feel like you designed the menu. The food tastes as good as it looks. - which is pretty amazing! Fresh ideas with carefully balanced flavors that appeal to the majority. (In our case 5 out of 5 on our table).

One service aspect that I found really cool was that certain courses were bought to the table by the staff that created them, including head chef Charlie Carrington. Can’t rave enough about how how this simple action confirms the food passion that Atlas demonstrates through its people.

Was here for the mexican dishes. They are very delicious, my favourite were the octopus taco (have to order extra dish for this) and the dessert. Will come back and try their other cuisine.

I wish I could mark higher than a 5. This amazing little restaurant in South Yarra is warm & inviting. The food absolutely blew my mind. I have never been as impressed with the set of Mexican courses we enjoyed at Atlas anywhere. It was a few hours spent in absolute heaven for me personally. The dishes are individually exquisite but to have the overall menu a perfect 10 is a credit to Charlie & the team at Atlas. Thank you

Unique dining experience of Mexican street food elevated to modern fine dining experience. The first course was subtle and refreshing. Second course of taco was inspiring. Made me realized that authentic taco shells are soft, thick and could taste a strong tortilla flavor. The crispy tostada with octopus and the most amazing avocado was the best course of the night. Tasted intense mole as the fourth course. Sea bream with banana mole tasted really unique. Never had fish with banana sauce before. Dessert was fresh and sweet, really enjoyable. Overall, dining here really flew me over to the land of exploration and revelation about other cultural dishes.

Amazing dining experience.  Each course on the Mexican menu was wonderful, though if I had to pick just one, the Kingfish was perhaps the standout.  I'm not into wine, but others in our party said the wines were excellent and well matched to the food.  The service couldn't have been better - great welcome and very attentive throughout the evening. Can't wait for next menu in 2-3 months time.

I don't pretend to be a food critic however, I can honestly say that Atlas serves up some of the tastiest, consistently creative food I've experienced in Melbourne. Service and atmosphere are just as good. This was my second visit and will definitely return - keep up the good work guys.

Atlas is amazing! Firstly the space is low lit, and clean line minimal modern with touches of tarnished brass and peeling wallpaper beautiful, secondly service is engaging and comfortable- fast paced and friendly, and one of the best bits is that occasionally the chefs including Charlie bring dishes to the table! Now: Food. Innovative, tasty, next level Mexican! It's all a beautiful balance between classic mex (avo, seafood, lime, chilli, mole) and refined melbourne-style dining. Atlas serves a series of balanced, good looking dishes that take you on a delicious food journey! Oh and bev match... Highly recommend all of it for fun times and super tasty goodness! So much yes!

We had the 5 course tasting plate with the Mexican theme- course #1,2 and 5 are sublime! The tostada, tamale and meringue was superb- wish there was more on the plate! We were greeted warmly by the staff, and throughout the whole service, they were quite attentive and knew the food they were serving. Thumbs up!
👍👍👍👍👍 recommended for anyone visiting Melbourne

We went during the Mexican rotation and it was brilliant. The meals with the matched drinks were outstanding and the waitstaff were there when they needed to be without being overbearing.

Can't wait til the next menu, but wouldn't stop us going back for more of the same. Brilliant concept.

My boyfriend has been wanting to try this place for ages now because he really liked the concept of atlas and what it offers. He managed to convinced me to take him there for his birthday and I am so glad he did. As soon as we entered, we were greeted and ushered to our seats. We thought the atmosphere was quite nice and refreshing. In terms of the food, we thought each dish was quite delicious. I never tasted anything like the dishes I’ve had at atlas-the elements balanced so well, it was quite amazing! My most favourite would be the tostado, that was the best thing I’ve had in a while. To be honest, I’m not the biggest fan of Mexican food, but the atlas experience made me the biggest fan! The only fault I could give was that I didn’t enjoy the Mexican sides as much as the 5 courses. However, overall I loved my experience at Atlas dining :)
Definitely recommend giving this a go and I would advice to book early to avoid disappointment!

Wonderful service thanks to the entire team but a special mention must go to Ana who spoilt us on our wedding anniversary.
The food was excellent! A well balanced menu with great textures and flavours thanks to Charlie for bringing this concept to life.
We look forward to taking our taste buds to the next destination at Atlas Dining.

We were there for a Saturday night dinner, during their Korean iteration. The food was absolutely magnificent. I always side-eye 'fusion' food because it is always ham-fisted in execution. But not here. There is a deftness and intelligence at work here, so the Korean touches elevated every mouthful. The food was delicious.

The only bummer was the service. The staff were very sweet, but perhaps inexperienced. We opted for the matched wines, the pours were very uneven. During a course, the sedimentary dregs of a bottle was also served up. The pacing of the dishes was also too slow... Waiting twenty minutes in between every course was simply a drag. These things took a little sparkle out of what could have been a truly memorable meal.

Finally made my way down there after having to cancel so many times. Great customer service from being seated down, all the way through to having our desert. I took part in the Mexican menu, the Food was brilliant with such a creative twist. Flavours exploded and the freshness was visible through it vibrancy. Definitely looking forward to the next Atlas destination and experience its deliciousness! Great work guys.

Beautiful restaurant and interesting atmosphere. The chef / owner ( who is only 23 by the way) served a 5 course dinner of Mexican inspired food. The five courses were very small, yet very unique and delicious. However, I recommend not going here if you are starving. With the small five courses comes a huge wait in between each one. By the time we got our last course I was pretty tired and ready to go home. However, it was a cool restaurant and experience and would take friends there, just not super hungry friends.

5-course Korean-inspired degustation menu at an affordable $65 pp (+$15 pp with Korean side dishes, "banchan"). Dishes were skilfully prepared over open charcoal grill, artfully plated and they were tastefully balanced.

The wait staff were absolutely superb.  Just the right amount of attention and they really knew there stuff.  Never in he way, but always there to help us understand the menu and choose appropriate wine.  The ambience is fantastic.  A very modern feel, with a view into the busy kitchen.  The food was absolutely delicious.  My only gripe is the portion sizes were perhaps a bit on the small side.  There was nothing particularly filling.  We had pre-dinner drinks and canapes at home before we left and I'm glad we did because I think we would have left hungry.  It was, on balance, a great night!

Been wanting to come here since it's launch and I was not disappointed! From the service to the food; this stop was Korea and being a vegetarian I was really impressed with how well I was catered for. We opted for the matched wines and our waitress was so friendly and knowledgeable that it made the whole experience just that little bit extra special. From the moment we sat down you notice how relaxed the staff are, even though you know its organised chaos of running a busy restaurant. Charlie runs this place with a cool and calm attitude and you can tell everyone works really well together. I only knew Charlie was the head chef from having read about this place a while back, had I have not known that I would have never guest that on our evening he was as he was happy to help seat and clear tables along with the rest of his staff. This is exactly how a manager/head chef/owner should be and it's great to see a new breed doing so well! I also had one of the most fanciest cocktails ever - the name escapes me but the ice-cube used had glitter in it! Mind-blown! We will be back time and time again, thank you to the team at Atlas for making this one of my top 5 degustation experiences ever!

This time, the team from Atlas Dining take us on a Korean inspired adventure. As in previous visits, though different cuisines, the dishes are Charlie’s take on the food from Korea, really interesting and mostly vegetarian driven. We planned and arrived for an early dinner as the restaurant becomes very noisy as the evening progresses. This visit was perhaps my favourite thus far, however, all have been good. Next stop, Mexico!

Absolutely amazing. We went there in the last few weeks of South Korean food. Shockingly good. Really couldn't fault the food from start to end. We upgraded the meal and added a truffle dish and I was so pleased. The beauty of this place was that each course was just a little better than the one before. Very smart cooking. Wines were matched well and the waitress was attentive and lovely. She was upset when the meal got there before she could explain the matched wine. Get there!

I really wanted to like this place but it's just not somewhere I would revisit unfortunately.
Overall, the decor is quite nice as is the ambience and service.
However there is no where to sit and have a drink whilst you wait for your table and the food just wasn't for me.
Arriving at 8:30 for our booking, we had little choice but to venture down the street for a drink whilst the previous sitting finished up (which by the way was still going when we returned half an hour later). Although there is an outside area which could be utilised, it is useless when it rains which was the case when we visited.
Food wise. Although the pork jus was absolutely delicious, the remaining dishes were anything but memorable. The branches were disappointing and there seemed to be an awful lot of dishes involving mushroom (we don't eat seafood and had substituted dishes).
There just was little value for me in spending almost $300 on a dinner where I really only ate/enjoyed one dish.
Having said that, I'm sure this place would still appeal to a lot of people, just not so much for those who are selective in their food choices.

After seeing Charlie on Masterchef we were curious about his worldly concept and dined there on his Korean menu. We were not disappointed. We ordered the extra banchans, which added to the dishes. Staff were exceptional and we're glad we booked the early 630pm table to receive the attentive service as by 830, they were under the pump. Having Charlie serve us our dessert was a plus.

This restaurant rotates which part of the world the cuisine is and I came here while the Italian menu was on. The food portions were small but they were extremely delicious. The service was also really good and they have an extensive wine menu. Docking 1 star from this review as they tried to give less change than required and pretended like they didn’t charge the surcharge.

Absolutely fantastic food and service. First time here and was very impressed with the food and the fact that they have a different country theme every few month. Loved the boarding pass and passport provided for the Sri Lankan theme this time round. I will be keen to come back and try out some other country theme in a few months time.
